Trikken og gata utenfor bråket mye, men det må man nesten regne med så sentralt i byen. Kort vei til det meste, bl.a. Nationaltheatret stasjon med både tog, t-bane og buss.

Very easy walk to some of the main attractions in Oslo. There’s a supermarket nearby and cafes and restaurants just downstairs. The place is in great condition and you get a feel of staying at a genuine local place in Oslo. Free coffee from the machine was a nice bonus.

It was at a great location, I loved being close to the Royal Palace and park. The heated floor in the bathroom was a game changer. The kitchenette was perfect, and its awesome that cutlery/plates/cooking dishes are provided.

The location of the structure is its great advantage, as it is very close to the Royal Palace and therefore to the centre. Also, the rooms are big enough (we were 4 persons), although the bathroom is not. And the people at the reception are friendly. However, the structure also has some disadvantages. First, you cannot cook in the room. The most you can do is heat some liquids (milk, water etc.). It is not even possible to heat any solid food (e.g., slices of bread) because of the presence of smoke detectors, which are apparently very sensitive. This is what we were told at the reception. At the reception you can borrow cups, cutlery or a hairdryer, but if you ask for a frying pan they tell you to be very careful with the smoke and discourage you to use it. The second aspect is parking. They do not have their own. They have an agreement with a covered car park, but it is several hundred metres from the hotel and very expensive (it would cost 590 NOK per day, but they give you a voucher for 200 kroner). There is another municipal park that is very close and costs 400 kroner (no voucher). Third, minor, aspect is the accessibility of the structure, as it is on the second floor and you have to take a small lift to get to the reception.

Mycket tillmötesgående personal. Hissen fungerade inte vid 15-tiden den 29/1 när jag skulle hämta min väska och åka hem. Har svårt att gå i trappor. Fick hjälp att ta ner väskan till gatuplanet av personalen, mycket vänligt! Perfekt med golvvärme i dusch/wc-rumsgolvet, men det fanns lite hårstrån i hörnen.

Rommet var rent og ryddig. Men det var kaldt siden det gamle vinduet ikke var skikkelig lukket, og det var ikke mulig å få det lukket pga høyden. Det samme gjaldt badet, men der var det verre. I selve dusjsonen, langs gulvet, var det sort misfarging på flisene som lignet muggsopp.

Rommet var rent og ryddig. Men det var kaldt siden det gamle vinduet ikke var skikkelig lukket, og det var ikke mulig å få det lukket pga høyden. Det samme gjaldt badet, men der var det verre. I selve dusjsonen, langs gulvet, var det sort misfarging på flisene som lignet muggsopp.

Superbra budgetalternativ i Oslo. Vi fick ett stort rum mot gården med balkong och 4 ordentliga sängar så att hela familjen kunde sova bra. Tyst, svalt och centralt läge. Frukost ingick inte men kunde ätas på mysigt café bredvid. Lätt hitta parkering. Centralt läge - en kvart till fots till vattnet.

Very helpful front desk staff, who offered local knowledge of places to see and where to eat. The hotel was easy to find and in a great location for local transport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. I was on business trip so only stayed one-night, but i did have an external meeting online call which crossed over with check-out and the lady at the front -desk was accommodating to suggest I use the Tv Suite as its quiet and i can work from there until I need to leave. Very thoughtful and accommodating!!

A very nice little no frills hotel. Was visiting some friends in town for New Years and just needed a room to crash before driving home the next day. This hotel is perfect for what I needed which was just a room in the center of town. Well priced, very nice staff

A fine old building with character not far from the Royal Palace. From the central train station find Kong Harald street with the main shops and in the distant you will see the Royal Palace, once there take the right side diagonal and you reach the hotel, ten minutes walk.

Location, location, location!! Cochs Pensjonet is short walk to the Slottsparken, the stunning gardens surrounding the Royal Palace. Across the street is Lorry, a fabulous old world restaurant. Bra läge, en promenad på 10 min så var man i centrum. Vi hade ett rum med renoverat fint badrum, det fanns billigare rum. Kaffe att hämta till rummet och frukost att köpa till bra pris på ett närliggande bageri. Tyst från gatan kvällstid. Helt ok, huset var väldigt fint på utsidan och gammal fin trappa invändigt

Veldig artig bygning i gammel stil. Selve rommene er litt stusselige med tanke på utstyr og utsmykning. Kunne gjerne vært et par kopper på rommet, samt tannglass på bad. Ikke håndsåpe på toalett eller sjampo i dusj. God str for to stk. Gode senger, dyner. Litt harde hodeputer. Mulighet for frokost i første etasje, gateplan på kaffebrenneriet. Veldig rolig og stille og utsikt mot bakgården. Bord med fire spisestoler og en loungestol.

Really lovely hotel in an excellent location. Free tea and coffee a nice touch. Basic rooms but functional and clean. Could do with bigger or extra pillows and hand towel as we only had two bath towels.

Superbra budgetalternativ i Oslo. Vi fick ett stort rum mot gården med balkong och 4 ordentliga sängar så att hela familjen kunde sova bra. Tyst, svalt och centralt läge. Frukost ingick inte men kunde ätas på mysigt café bredvid. Lätt hitta parkering. Centralt läge - en kvart till fots till vattnet.

Very easy walk to some of the main attractions in Oslo. There’s a supermarket nearby and cafes and restaurants just downstairs. The place is in great condition and you get a feel of staying at a genuine local place in Oslo. Free coffee from the machine was a nice bonus.

The hotel is within walking distance to the train station, subway and bus terminals. The room and sheets were clean and orderly. There is free coffee anytime and a 20% discount for breakfast in the coffee shop below. The receptionists were very helpful. They helped me find the address of a place I needed to go to. They also gave me the name and time of the correct local train to take me to the airport.

The pictures are NOT at all what they depict. Upon walking in the front door, there was a spider the size of my palm running across the floor. I would not shower there as a matter of fact, I forfeited my money and left.

Rather good location with REMA supermarket, convenience store and restaurants nearby. The hotel should have renovation recently and looks newer than in the photos shown on the platform. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. There is free coffee area with microwave facility and small kitchen in room. Generally nicer than expected and very good that they allowed our early check in at 11am !!
