Eyre Court Hotel

The room was comfortable and big enough my only two issues are the so say free parking, I couldn't get parked once and had to pay during the day.parking at the hotel is very limited and I wish hotels.com had started this plus hotels.com just say pet friendly to be told there is a separate charge would be nice.

Comfortable room and well furnished. Friendly and helpful staff, good bar with friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice Only downside was parking which was at a premium on site and no car parking nearby

All the staff were polite and friendly and made us feel welcome. Evening meal was plentiful and good value. Although we managed to park on site there are more rooms than spaces ( tight spaces) so you may have to park in town and pay. Are stay was marred by the bathroom not being cleaned toilet , shower & basin which was a shame, can only assume that the cleaner is not doing their job, thus letting down the rest of the team. One last thing the duvet cover was torn and needs replacement.

Warm welcome. Very comfortable room with hot shower, soft fluffy towels, crisp sheets and tea/coffee etc. Great breakfast. Stairs to rooms above the pub and dining area . Live music on Sundays added to the ambience. Over by 8pm- so noisiest things were the seagulls😂 Staff very helpful. Would return anytime 👌

2nd stay at Eyre Court... room was excellent, staff were lovey and friendly and breakfast was plentiful, fresh, delicious and all you expect of a breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed our 2nd stay.. Only down point is the parking is limited.. My sister walks slow and with a stick and people who are just using the pub use the parking. I personally think you should have allocated parking if you are staying in the Eyre court.

Just a coule of days away from it all, great little town, good local walks, pub was very friendly and good choice of both food and drinks. Room was big, double bed a little small / short for a 6 footer, could easily have a king size in there. Limited parking at the venue but public parking only 5 mins walk and £9 for 24 hrs.

Room was fine, very quiet considering a pub. Limited parking though.

Great location for the South West Coast Path. Friendly welcome and ambience in the pub. Residents only lounge too. Breakfast was tasty.

The location was great, the room was very well appointed!! The bar was great to have on site. We didnt get to spend any time in the town due to being on a walk. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Thanks

Good value property in the heart of Seaton. Spacious room, huge TV, comfy bed, good breakfast. Nice outside area.

When we checked in (Weds)we enquired about dinner but told that Mon - Weds the dinning room was closed, so we walked to chippy and took it back to our room, it was the only other place open for food other than a rather scabby looking Kebab shop, £27 for fish & chips for the both of us, Jesus!!!! The floor standing towel rail hadn\'t been cleaned for some time and I left a message in the thick layer of dust 2clean me". They need Double glazing as the noise from outside didn\'t help us in getting a good nights sleep. Breakfast wasn\'t much better, no milk jugs so every time you wanted milk for your tea and coffee you had to go back to the service area to get it from a big jug. I shudder to think what its like in the winter months if this is the best they can do at the end of April.

We enjoyed out time at Eyre Court Hotel. Staff are friendly rooms are clean. Bed was a bit uncomfortable as the mattress dipped on one side. Apart from that I would recommend. Eyre Court is close to sea front where you can catch a bus to Beer, Lyme Regis & Sidmouth.

Will never return, will never recommend to anyone. Only cold water in shower that didn’t drain, dirty, damp room, old beds, filthy carpet. Way too expensive for this horrible room.

The rooms are extremely clean with everything you need including tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Great breakfast choices and freshly cooked!! The only thing I would criticise is the size of the bed and comfort. They could probably do with being upgraded.

Generally comfortable bed and friendly staff. Breakfast very good included options with full English, cereals and coffee, tea, orange juice and apple juice. Parking very limited and road parking limited to half hour and one hour on road and pay and display at council car parks with a short walk to hotel. Bathroom could have been cleaner as hairs around shower and tap loose on sink. Generally run down property that could do with some renovations.

We enjoyed our stay at the Eyre Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and our room was clean. The shower could do with updating 👍

Friendly staff, felt welcome. Adequate breakfast, on 2 of the 3 days would have been useful. A 3 day stay meant that you notice places that could be worked on, loose floor in dining room, patches of paint bubbling away from the wall in the bedroom, a curtain tie back/hook hat was quite sharp metal next to the single bed, shower needed a new shower head, a small amount of grouting in the shower that could have been cleaner, All of these are pedantic but noticed on a few days stay. We were comfortable and it was very handy for town.

Overall a lovely stay and exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were really good however it wasn't clear beforehand that there were limited slots for breakfast so we were initially disappointed to be told that we couldn't have breakfast at the time we wanted. Thankfully they were able to move tables around to accommodate us which was great. The rooms were very comfy and nicely decorated however there were large cobwebs in both the bedroom and bathroom and despite the room being refreshed every day these weren't cleaned in the 5 days that we were there. Seaton itself is pretty quiet but it's a great base for exploring nearby towns and it's nice to based on the coast. We would likely stay again if we return to the area!

There were punters outside until midnight being extremely loud and no consideration on people trying to sleep

Spacious room, clean and warm. Hotel breakfast was generous with good service. Hotel a little tired in places.

Room and staff were brilliant. Very large comfortable room, with eveything you need. Little chocolates nice treat. Breakfast had plenty of choice and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Although the staff were helpful, polite and friendly, our visit was quite disappointing. £150 for a small twin room with a fairly small en suite was not value for money and our Sunday plans for a Sunday roast (as promised on the website) and a quiet evening drink in the bar were thwarted by the chef having a day off and loud live entertainment in the bar followed by loud piped music. The alternative place to sit was a very dark poorly lit lounge so we retired quite early to our small room. Despite its excellent location near the sea front, we will not return.

Room was not heated adequately so sleep was very poor. Window was dirty around the interior paintwork.

Beyond disappointing- wouldn’t recommend to anyone, awful experience. The manager was beyond uncooperative! We had booked through hotel.com a ‘family room’ , we had then noticed a few days before our stay a luxury room had become available at a cheaper price so we rang up and spoke to a gentleman Luke( couldn’t fault him in any way-the most understanding staff member they had) who had it all swapped over for us- upon arrival we had to wait 20 minutes for them to even be able to open up the room door which was beyond a joke, key wouldn’t work so had to get maintenance ( is this not checked before check in? How could they have cleaned the room the morning of our stay when they key wouldn’t work?) when we did eventually get in, the smell was gross, smelt like old, dog and damp and wasn’t the warmest of rooms. The windows wouldn’t close and we had a view onto the back alley. The room was decorated with dog hair it seems, dog hair in the bed, in the shower floor and the blankets and in general over the floor. Dog friendly yes- this amount of hair NO. We then went down and questioned as we did not get either a luxury room or what we first enquired about as a family. We got a standard double-so not even what we paid for. We weren’t welcome back for breakfast and they refused a refund or even partial to fund towards our amazing stay in the premier in 30 second walk around the corner. premier in = 5 STAR. Highly recommend not staying a night in this eyre court hotel.

room was nice but the carpet was filthy the reception staff were loveley and helpfull But when we came for breakfast the lady was very rude. and the table was filthy, I had to get my own wipes to clean the table. The Vegetarian breakkfast was incomplete the tea was lukewarm/cold. .

Owner very pleasant. Food was really good. Outside of property needs some TLC but the room was clean and comfortable with good supply of drinks and toiletries.

its s small hotel (8 rooms) attached to a pub. our room for 3 people - 2 adults and a child - was fine, good size, comfortable and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good but otherwise the kitchen is closed. The location is very good for shops, restaurants and walks to the sea front. they also have a nice outdoor area for relaxing, reading or having a drink when the weather allows.

Close to the centre ,a bit tricky to find due to one way road system

The location is good, close to the sea front and shops, yet quiet. The bedrooms were a good size and had plenty of storage, plus usb points in the plug fixtures. The staff were helpful. Some public areas need some refurbishment.

We had a comfortable night's sleep and a very nice cooked breakfast but we were not aware that there are no other meals available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Very good. Our only disappointment was that they had stopped cooking evening meals - something we were particularly looking forward to. We had to trudge through pouring rain to find somewhere else to eat and ended up at the fish and chip shop. Not quite the same. But breakfast was very good.

Great place to stay but there was nowhere to eat evenings. Admittedly it was out of season but we had a takeaway pizza first night and then a sandwich from the local Aldi the following night.

The hotel was clean and very well-positioned for the beach and the Seaton parkrun. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but we were disapponted to be told we had to have the 9-10am timeslot as they had given everyone else 8-9. They only had 8 rooms to cater for and plenty of space to look after all 8 at once. When we asked if we could just have a quick coffee and croissant or toast before the parkrun, the answer was no. We were told the chef would wait until 950am in case we got back in time. No fruit at breakfast either but if you're an all english sort of person you would be happy. Eggs and toast etc also available so it was ok on our other two days. A good base for exploring the coast and a clean and fairly comfortable hotel.

Fantastic stay. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Our room was an entire detached building with it's won outside entrance, and two bedrooms. Very comfortable with great amentities (tea/coffy & snacks in our room, great wifi, excellent food and staff). Thank you for making our stay so great!
