Riad Elias & Spa

Our stay was great from start to finish. Elias welcomed us with tea and made sure we started to relax straight away. We had questions, he had the answers.we had just to say what we needed and he organised it for us. I also highly recommend the hammam and massage provided in the property. The 2 ladies who looked after us with breakfast were so lovely 😍 Oh and the dinner we had at the property was the best Tajine 👌 in all 7 days in Marrakesh. I would highly recommend a stay with Elias and the team.

Saïd and the family were so welcoming and friendly from our first minutes in Morocco. Being our first time, the whole crew was so knowledgeable and informative about where the best places to go/avoid were to ensure we were safe and had fun. Extremely accommodating to all of our food and dietary needs, and even brought us a fruit bowl on our last morning. Beautiful setting with gorgeous pool in the middle, where everyone was friendly and hung out in the common areas. Such a fun time exploring the different cultures and learning from the natives. The Riad is in a fantastic location in the center of the city, but with enough privacy to still feel safe coming home at the end of the night. You truly feel like family staying here, and the whole experience is individualized to meet your needs. Will definitely be back again to see the lovely city of Marrakesh and would never stay anywhere but our home away from home, the Riad Elias

Très beau Riad au cœur de Marrakech. Tout es proche à pieds. Très calme et reposant. Accueil chaleureux, y compris transfert. Grande chambre confortable et grande salle de bain. Nous avons dîner sur place le 1er soir, c’était bon, la femme du propriétaire a cuisiné. Belle terrasse avec vue sur la ville.

La clim ne raffraichissait pas très bien notre chambre peut-etre à cause de la forte chaleur (44-45degré)Bref c'est bien pour un très court séjours avec repas, activités à l'extérieur, et rentrer juste pour dormir si la clim veut bien fonctionner!

It was an incredible stay in Marrakech. The location is amazing in the heart and bustle of the Madina. The proprietor Said was always their taking care of every need even late at night. This is an authentic Riad experience through the ally ways of the Madina and a few mins walk to Jamaa-Elfna. Call Said before you get there and he will send somebody to help you with the bags. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are authentic and very comfortable and very clean. The rooftop setting is wonderful to hang out on during the cool Marrakech evenings with nice sofas and tables. All in all I highly recommend it. We stayed 4 nights.

Verten/eier var kjempehyggelig og veldig serviceinnstilt. Han fikk oss til å føle oss som hjemme. Når vi hadde spørsmål, kunne han gi oss anbefalinger på hva som helst. Vi trodde riaden hadde svømmebasseng, men det var bare fordi vi ikke hadde gjort good nok research😄 Tradisjonell marokkansk frokost hver dag. Nydelig!!! Kan virkelig anbefale dette stedet.

Notre Riad était parfait. Saïd le propriétaire très proche des clients pour nous conseiller ! Le personnel très gentil et aimable. Petits déjeuners copieux ! Nous avons dîné un soir au Riad excellent ! Bonne adresse pour séjour à Marrakech.

Our stay at Riad Elias was very good. The owner/ manager was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The sun deck on the roof was great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina for a bit of sun and relaxation. The breakfast was delicious and very comprehensive. All staff were extremely helpful. The location of the Riad is good with a 5 minute walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and very close to lots of the markets and souks. The bed in the room was extremely hard but did not take away from the sleep quality to be honest. When you check in, you are given a key for the room but not for the front door of the Riad so you are reliant on knocking and a member of staff to let you in. Overall, the Riad oozes the Marrakesh culture and Charm. It is stunning once inside and I would 100% stay again if returning to Marrakech. We had an issue with the shower not working correctly which was quickly resolved by the staff which was great.

Saïd le propriétaire nous a envoyé une personne à l aéroport ( 30€) a l heure , en mini bus . Nous étions 7 et ils nous attendait au riad avec un super petit déjeuner offert ( jus de fruit frais , pain et une spécialité par matin… crêpe arabe, beignet ….) Le riad est propre . Saïd et sa femme sont très gentil et à notre entier service . Il nous a emmené partout pour les épices, les souvenirs ….. nous avons un soir demander à manger a cause des pas et de la fatigue , sa femme nous a préparer un super couscous avec salade et dessert ( 20€) . Les chambres sont spacieuse et propre . Sur le toit , il y a des transats. Dans le patio , un bassin où on peut se tremper …. Pas de piscine . On est à 10 mn à pied de la place . Nous avions pris nos excursions sur GetYourGuide, à chaque fois il nous emmenait au point de rencontre . Le riad est très bien car Saïd et sa femme sont trop gentils et trop serviable . Vous voulez quelques choses il se débrouille pour l avoir . Toujours de l eau fraîche en bouteille offerte tout les jours . Le rosé est bon ( 15€) la bouteille avec un sacré plateau à l apéro . Bien centré, mais le point négatif : beaucoup de scooters et de saleté donc attention si vous êtes avec des enfants. Dans le quartier , Saïd est connu donc il a fait un tour avec nous , comme il dit , pour nous photographier ( qu’on Loïs reconnaisse) et quand on nous voyait , les gens disait … ça c’est Saïd et il nous indiquait la route . Faites les cascades d ouzoud,

We could not recommend this as a place to stay - Great location and was easy to walk around, close the food restaurants. loved that we could decide when we have breakfast! Also as a VIP we were offered a traditional hammam, which was lovely and the massage which was paid for, as one of the best I have had! The Hotel manager was personable and was approachable and catered to our needs.

Riad Elias is a beautiful place, clean and peaceful, but it was spoilt by our frosty welcome. Said wasn’t there when we arrived at 7.30pm (we are a group of 6 middle aged women) but his wife was, and ushered us to sit in the lounge area. When Siad arrived 10 mins later, we asked to see our rooms and he insisted that we eat first as his wife had been up since 7.30am. We explained we had been travelling and needed to freshen up so he reluctantly showed us our rooms. We had booked junior suites so each room should have had a single bed and a double bed - only one room had this. Again he was very grumpy with us, told us that he couldn’t do anything about it that evening. Dinner was delicious but the atmosphere was somewhat spoilt. He continued to be argumentative with us until the last day, we weren’t sure if it was because we were travelling as a group of women without a male usher or because we had just got off to a bad start. Great location, clean, tidy and the ladies who made and served our breakfast were simply delightful.

Cute little find in the heart of Morocco! I've never stayed at a riad before, but the hosts were super welcoming and accommodating. The only downside of the stay was the bathroom. The water kept fluctuating from super hot (I burned my hands when washing them once) and super cold when I showered. The water pressure was also really low which made it a bit difficult to shower but other than that, it was a great place and beautiful! The location was a bit alarming at first but we ended up feeling super safe!

Las personas que ayudan a Elías son geniales. Elías es un buen anfitrión y te ayuda en todo. La estancia es conforme se ve en las fotos. Mucha tranquilidad. Lo recomiendo sin duda. Muy buena ubicación. Por poner alguna área de mejora, actualizar la decoración de las habitaciones.

Ótima localização. Não recomendo ir de carro no local. Muito difícil dirigir dentro da velha medina. Muito doido dirigir lá. Café da manhã ok. Poderia ser melhor. Quarto não tem tv, frigobar, básico mesmo

While perhaps not the most swanky or modern hotels, this family run riad was the most welcoming of the hotels we stayed at in Marrakech, with more of a B&B vibe than a traditional hotel. If you are looking for comfortable, fuss free base to explore Marrakech from, this is ideal. Caveat: the room doors were not the most secure and there is no safe in the room, but there are so few guests, and the riad is constantly manned with the front door locked, so we didn't feel that security was an issue.

This place was located 15 min walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa, which was really nice. The place looked nice and everything. The beds are hard and the walls are very thin. You can hear everything. The owner on the other hand seemed a little scammy. He would be helpful and Mr. Nice guy but there were questionable moments. One moment being when we were leaving, we spent 80 MAD to get there from the airport but to go back with HIS taxi driver at 5am was 200 MAD. This man was forcing us into the “insurance” and bigger vehicle but all we wanted was a small taxi. He then proceeded to tell us there are no small taxis available at 5am but we drove past the square in the morning and there were many. He was getting annoyed that I was asking so many questions and I was annoyed that he kept talking over me and being kind of rude, so I accepted. When we were leaving, he was like there is a tourist tax but i pay for you like it isn’t included in the listing and I quote “We have included all charges provided to us by the property.” It’s small occasions but overall the stay was decent.

Très bon séjour dans ce joli Riad. Monsieur le gérant est venu à notre rencontre et nous a aidé avec notre départ. Il nous a servi du café à 5h30 le matin avant qu’on s’en aille. C’était très gentil de sa part. Merci beaucoup

Lovely family run hotel - friendly, not showy but lovely architecture and furniture and comfortable - good value for money. Sayeed? The owner is a marvel at problem solving too. Highly recommended!

Amazing hospitality by Saeed and Sanaa. It was a home away from home. Nothing was too much for them. They would go the extra mile for you. My son got sick and needed medicine in the middle of the night and Saeed took me by bike to the pharmacy and helped me get the right thing for him. Definitely recommend a stay here

Ho soggiornato in altri hotel Vip e questo non si ci avvicina minimamente. Niente upgrade, lo sconto di 15€ non ci è stato applicato! Siamo andati via due giorni prima dalla disperazione pagando due notti presso un’altra struttura. Nonostante non avessimo usufruito delle due colazioni restanti ci ha fatto pagare la tassa di soggiorno delle due notti non usufruite. Non ha accettato la carta di credito e non ci ha fatto ricevuta. Pessimo! La risposta all’altra recensione non è veritiera! Non ho mai soggiornato fuori prima di lasciare la stanza. Ho chiesto più volte di mangiare lì come da lui offerto nei messaggi whatsapp prima della nostra partenza ma niente, sempre no! Molto scortese.

An enjoyable stay minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa. First time experience in a riad. Would definitely return again.

O proprietário do Riad é um amor de pessoa. Nos recebeu muito bem. Fez todo o possível para que ficássemos à vontade. A comunicação foi muito fácil, porque ele fala um pouco de francês, italiano e espanhol. O Riad fica a minutos a pé da praça principal da cidade.

Great location in the heart of the old town (Medina) area of Marrakesh. Easy walk to the Souks and lots of the nearby attractions. The old town is a bit of a maze, but google maps led me right to the alley leading to the Riad. Riad was beautiful inside - a nice calm respite from the busy world all around. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was enjoyable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very well centred riad in the heart of Marrakech. The riad is located quite close to most of the city attractions and can be easily reached via foot. The host/staff, everyone was very lovely and welcoming. The owner gave us tips on how to get around and to avoid getting scammed which helped us since it was our first time visiting Marrakech. Overall very pleasant stay, sad to be back to reality 😭😭

Welcoming Riad, in the middle of Medina. Quiet somehow. Not easy taxi access, so we did walk with our luggages through the medina. Walking distance to souk and bahia palace, and all the other attractions. We stayed only one night, but i would recommend if you want to have a flavour of the old medina.

Très beau Riad au cœur de Marrakech. Tout es proche à pieds. Très calme et reposant. Accueil chaleureux, y compris transfert. Grande chambre confortable et grande salle de bain. Nous avons dîner sur place le 1er soir, c’était bon, la femme du propriétaire a cuisiné. Belle terrasse avec vue sur la ville.

Le propriétaire des lieux ainsi que son personnel sont très serviables et accueillants. Très bon emplacement car pas loin de la place jemaa. Je ne conseillerai pas le repas, car le petit-déjeuner est assez répétitif.c'etait toujours la même chose qui était servi tous les matins. Nous avions mangé aussi 2 soirs, notre repas était tellement salé que les enfants ne pouvaient pas y toucher à leur assiette (pâtes au beurre). La piscine pour enfants est juste un petit bassin . La clim ne raffraichissait pas très bien notre chambre peut-etre à cause de la forte chaleur (44-45degré)Bref c'est bien pour un très court séjours avec repas, activités à l'extérieur, et rentrer juste pour dormir si la clim veut bien fonctionner!

Verten/eier var kjempehyggelig og veldig serviceinnstilt. Han fikk oss til å føle oss som hjemme. Når vi hadde spørsmål, kunne han gi oss anbefalinger på hva som helst. Vi trodde riaden hadde svømmebasseng, men det var bare fordi vi ikke hadde gjort good nok research😄 Tradisjonell marokkansk frokost hver dag. Nydelig!!! Kan virkelig anbefale dette stedet.

Notre Riad était parfait. Saïd le propriétaire très proche des clients pour nous conseiller ! Le personnel très gentil et aimable. Petits déjeuners copieux ! Nous avons dîné un soir au Riad excellent ! Bonne adresse pour séjour à Marrakech.

Our stay at Riad Elias was very good. The owner/ manager was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The sun deck on the roof was great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina for a bit of sun and relaxation. The breakfast was delicious and very comprehensive. All staff were extremely helpful. The location of the Riad is good with a 5 minute walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and very close to lots of the markets and souks. The bed in the room was extremely hard but did not take away from the sleep quality to be honest. When you check in, you are given a key for the room but not for the front door of the Riad so you are reliant on knocking and a member of staff to let you in. Overall, the Riad oozes the Marrakesh culture and Charm. It is stunning once inside and I would 100% stay again if returning to Marrakech. We had an issue with the shower not working correctly which was quickly resolved by the staff which was great.
