We spent one night only and it was the perfect location in the center of Vulcano, close to the shops, the port and the start of the trail to the crater. Our room was very clean and gave on the very cute porch of the hotel. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, and we had a nice chat with him. He recommended a couple of places for us to have dinner. We were not rushed to check-out after we came back from our morning hike the next day. A great place to stay, in my opinion.

We spent 1 night on Vulcano in the really nice Pensione La Giara. It is conveniently situated on a relatively quiet street on a little over 5 min walk from the port, and on route to the path ascending to the vulcano. We were in two neighbouring bedrooms with shared bathroom for both rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. The owner on arrival advised on the trip up the vulcano and on nearby restaurants. Since we were leaving with an early ferry, the (very nice) breakfast was opened a bit earlier especially for us. Great experience!

Très bel endroit, proche du ferry, du volcan et des plages. Chambre confortable et propre. Petit déjeuner copieux. Personnel agréable et sympathique. Merci à la propriétaire de nous avoir proposé de garder nos bagages jusqu'au départ du bateau dans l'après-midi.
