The hotel has a lot of charm and it’s centrally located. However I did not realize they had no elevator. It was a bit of a hassle since I was traveling with my mother. Having to lug our bags up two flights of stairs was not ideal. Again it was my error and not the hotel. I also didn’t care for having to walk through a restaurant to get to our room. Again just my personal opinion. I would stay again if I’m traveling solo as the location is great.

Great location! Can’t beat the location. Parking is not that far and 24hr hour access available. Restaurant at hotel is great. Only disclaimer is you are at city center so expect to hear the church bells early in morning. I would still stay here again though.

Cuando reserve a través de Expedia, decía que tenia estacionamiento disponible, cuando llego al Hotel veo que no es así, además ni siquiera hay opción de llegar en auto porque hay vendedores en la calle, pregunte en la recepción sobre el estacionamiento y me entero que estaba a 3 cuadras, lo cual fue molesto me sentí engañado, pero el personal no se molesto ni siquiera en aclarar u ofrecer una disculpa, o por lo menos ofrecerme bajar mi equipaje (que era mínimo) para no tener que cargarlo 3 cuadras, cuándo regrese de dejar mi auto, estaba otra persona le hice el comentario y lo mismo solo me dio la llave de mi habitación y mi boleto para poder sacar mi auto al otro día, eso si de inmediato me cobro lo del estacionamiento, que por cierto tampoco especifica en la página al momento de reservar que tendrá un costo, por eso es que no me gusto nada el servicio del personal que me atendió, sin contar que cuando entregue la habitación en recepción había varias personas en una junta, lo que provoco que solo alguien volteo me recibió la llave y me dijo "es todo" así de mal, sin ni siquiera tomarse el tiempo de preguntar si todo bien, nada cortes el personal con el que trate y eso que prácticamente solo llegue a dormir.

El estacionamiento estaba a unas cuadras del hotel, es un estacionamiento público. Para la llegada debes buscar estacionamiento en cualquier otro lugar, y recoger el tag del estacionamiento público después. Es un lío cuando traes el equipaje porque mínimo 2 cuadras en cualquier punto que te estaciones lo debes cargar.

The room was very nice, and had very comfortable beds. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. The building is filled with colonial charm. The location is excellent. All the sights of Centro is right outside your door. Everything was very clean.

El hotel tiene una ubicación excelente, es pintoresco, agradable y las instalaciones son limpias. Sin embargo, durante nuestra estancia el descanso fue complicado debido al ruido constante: el personal del restaurante hacía mucho ruido moviendo muebles y hablando fuerte, tanto tarde en la noche como muy temprano en la mañana. Aunque solicitamos mayor silencio, no hubo mucha respuesta. También tuvimos problemas con el aire acondicionado, que no enfriaba. A pesar de varios reportes, no se solucionó hasta que insistimos más y un técnico descubrió que los filtros estaban muy sucios. Es un hotel con buen potencial, pero la falta de control del ruido y el mantenimiento afectan seriamente la experiencia.

The location is fantastic for the historic centre but as the entire courtyard is a restaurant it is very busy and noisy all day. No real place to take some time out and relax as the rooms are very small. We were there on the weekend so maybe weekdays are quieter. It’s nice to have a quiet place to relax when you want to take a break from the hustle/bustle outside. This hotel did not offer that.

The location is fantastic for the historic centre but as the entire courtyard is a restaurant it is very busy and noisy all day. La propiedad se pusonen contacto conmigo el dia de mi llegada exigiendo un prepago o cancelarian mi reserva ( mi reserva era con pago en el hotel a la llegada) muy groseros y lo cual hizo mi viaje estresante ya que en vuelo ybcamion me era imposible, nobdeberian de poner esta opcion o debiarian hablar antes ..... el hotel bonito y limpio pero muy ruidoso, nos toco habitacion con vista a la calle muy bonito pero de noche muy ruidoso se escucha todoo, y dentro del hotel tienen un restaurante asi que de noche igual se escucha el ruido de ahi, la gente, los platos, los cubiertos ybal final ya que estan limpiando para cerrar ponen musica .... si les toca de esas habitaciones lleven tapones para los oidos

Todo bien solo que no respetaron la forma de reserva de la app ya que teníamos que pagar a nuestra llegada y desde temprano estuvieron molestando para que depositáramos vía transferencia el total de la estancia ya que si no no haría válida la reservación y fue muy molesto ya que estábamos en carretera

Everything was excellent, front desk was went beyond their way thank you Gabby and a young lady for sending a taxi to pick us up. The taxi from the air port drop us in the wrong hotel at night. I called the hotel and the front desk never hesitated to help us she called a taxi to pick us up thank you!!! The stay was excellent the hotel has a restaurant, I recommend it food is amazing and staff is very friendly.

Everything was excellent, front desk was went beyond their way thank you Gabby and a young lady for sending a taxi to pick us up. The taxi from the air port drop us in the wrong hotel at night. I called the hotel and the front desk never hesitated to help us she called a taxi to pick us up thank you!!! Todo en la estancia bien, el estacionamiento a más de 500 metros del hotel y en la mañana antes de llegar al hotel me estaban presionando por WhatsApp de la siguiente manera: WhatsApp copiado y pegado. Buen día. Me comunico del Hotel Hidalgo 👴 Para informarle que la tarjeta que dejó en garantía para su reservación fue rechazada, por lo que le solicitamos nos proporcione alguna otra o en su defecto la transferencia/depósito por la noche de su estancia, de lo contrario quedaría bajo disponibilidad sus habitaciones. 10:39 am La tarjeta estaba bien y tuve que hacer una trasferencia para asegurar mi lugar y creo que eso no es correcto

The Historic hotel was built in 1825, fortunately it's been updated and is a great place to stay while you are in Santiago del Querétaro . Beds were comfortable and the convienence to walking in el Centro Historico can't be beat. Very Good restaurant too.

La propiedad se pusonen contacto conmigo el dia de mi llegada exigiendo un prepago o cancelarian mi reserva ( mi reserva era con pago en el hotel a la llegada) muy groseros y lo cual hizo mi viaje estresante ya que en vuelo ybcamion me era imposible, nobdeberian de poner esta opcion o debiarian hablar antes ..... el hotel bonito y limpio pero muy ruidoso, nos toco habitacion con vista a la calle muy bonito pero de noche muy ruidoso se escucha todoo, y dentro del hotel tienen un restaurante asi que de noche igual se escucha el ruido de ahi, la gente, los platos, los cubiertos ybal final ya que estan limpiando para cerrar ponen musica .... si les toca de esas habitaciones lleven tapones para los oidos

Great location. If I read correctly it is the oldest hotel in town. Rooms are on second floor, around the courtyard on the first, which is a restaurant. Would definitely describe the hotel as rusticly charming. The room was modern. Several town squares within a few minutes. Right in the middle of the historic area with several old churches around.

Overall the hotel is beautiful, the staff is courteous and is placed a good location. But, there is a restaurant on the 1st floor with a lot of is noise since 5am until 11pm. People clattering dishes, spoons, talking loudly. Probably the worse sleep I ever had in a hotel.

The room was very nice, and had very comfortable beds. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. The building is filled with colonial charm. The location is excellent. All the sights of Centro is right outside your door. Everything was very clean.

El hotel es bonito, la atención fue buena, tanto en el hotel como en el restaurante; sin embargo lo malo fue que nuestras habitaciones estaban en la parte de abajo y se escuchaba la música del restaurante, y en el pasillo pasaba el personal y carritos. Sin embargo, durante nuestra estancia el descanso fue complicado debido al ruido constante: el personal del restaurante hacía mucho ruido moviendo muebles y hablando fuerte, tanto tarde en la noche como muy temprano en la mañana. Aunque solicitamos mayor silencio, no hubo mucha respuesta. También tuvimos problemas con el aire acondicionado, que no enfriaba. A pesar de varios reportes, no se solucionó hasta que insistimos más y un técnico descubrió que los filtros estaban muy sucios. Es un hotel con buen potencial, pero la falta de control del ruido y el mantenimiento afectan seriamente la experiencia.

This is a Restaurant not a hotel. Music all day and sometimes Mariachi band playing so loud by 10PM. A noise all day restaurant start serving at 7AM. A horrible setting for a hotel. It feels like the waitress are serving around your bed and musicians sitting on your pillow playing trumpets. It is just impossible to rest much less to sleep. THiS PLACE SHOUlD NOT BE CALLED HOTEL. A disgrace….
