Ein plus der Unterkunft ist die Lage in der Medina. Leider war es das auch schon. Es ist ein ziemlich altes Riad was wahrscheinlich früher mal top war, wie man an den Auszeichnungen erkennt, aber eine Sanierung dringend nötig hat. Wir waren zwar im günstigsten Zimmer untergebracht aber das ist keine Begründung für eine aus der Wand gerissenen Dusche. Allgemein riecht es in den Zimmern sehr muffig. Die Terrasse wird eher zum Wäsche trocknen benutzt und lädt nicht zum verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist Nix besonderes verschiedene Brote und Marmelade. Leider das schlechteste Riad auf unserer Marokko Reise.

Literie excellente, petit-déjeuner copieux, terrasse agréable, vraiment calme la nuit, cependant toutes les options ne sont pas forcément accessibles. Il faut commander la veille pour pouvoir diner, réserver le spa à l'avance. La salle commune existe bien mais il n'y a pas le téléviseur annoncé. On ne peut s'y rendre qu'à pied ; il est à 1,5km de la gare, en traversant le souk.

The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day. A few improvements could be a bath mat as the shower has no doors on 2 sides so the surrounding floor will always get wet. Google map direction to the Riad is incorrect but luckily we were able to find it on our own

This hotel is unique in many respects!! It’s situated in the heart of the old city and surrounded by the market place. The hotel itself is beautifully created with old apartments with marble floors and modern designs, yet leaving the feel of its 60’s era. It is far from a typical hotel that brings the Moroccan culture to anyone looking to add a memorable experience to a getaway or vacation. Rooms are clean! Beds are comfortable. And the staff is soft spoken and caring. The only improvement needed is better lighting in the courtyard at night. This hotel deserves 5 Star ratings in its own respect!

Mysigt när man väl är där. Lugnt och stila och fin solterass. Fantastisk god och nyttig frukost. Lätt att hitta ut. SvårRe att hitta tillbaka. Gångavstånd till det mesta. Även järnvägsstationen. Ont om riktiga restauranger.

Pro: - Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. - WLAN Empfang war sehr gut. Contra: - Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr verzweigt. Eine genauere Lagebeschreibung wäre sehr Hilfreich. Keine Taxis fahren da rein, daher muß man mindestens 8-10Minuten zu Fuß laufen. Dies wurde leider in Expedia nicht beschrieben. - Frühstück immer das selbe. Wer es süß zum Frühstück magt, ist es ok. - Dachterrasse ich sehr alt und schmutzig. - Die Zimmer sind sehr alt und nicht sehr sauber. İm großen und ganzen würde ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen. Für über 100 Euro die Nacht kann man bessere Hotels in Rabat finden. Meine Bewertung ist eher eine 5-6.

Loved this riad. Within city walls (so have to walk a little, cars not allowed inside city walls) but was able to get someone to help with bags near taxi stand. Room we were in was spacious, clean with comfortable furniture and little outside space. Breakfast was included and excellent. Location was perfect.

The Riad is well located inside the medina, about 3 blocks from Bab Chellah. Room was clean and breakfast was basic traditional moroccan with fruit, bread, juice. It's not fancy, but the value/price relationship is very good.

I enjoyed very much my stay in Riad El Maâti, the whole place is really nice, very well located and near many things like Quai de Bouregreg. SUPER clean, the shower pressure just great, and most important of all the people that take care of the Riad. Malika and Radilla have been extremely kind and caring during my stay; very, very attentive. You can only imagine what a big heart they have and how thankful I am to have meet them! It was a GREAT surprise to have such a nice attention from all of them, it is a pleasure for me to recommend such nice places with great people here in Morocco.

Avoid this horrible place at all costs. This riad should be banned from Expedia. Pictures on Expedia do not show the realty of the place. hot tub does not exist, snacks and coffee bar does not exist even filtered water does not exist you can only buy bottled water at 2 times the price of the market, I understand that most Riads are old, but this place is falling apart, and the owner does not want to spend a penny to replace anything (see pictures below)Rooms are dirty mold in bathroom and rusted taps and broken furniture.Hot water for a shower does not exist at night unless you ask the reception to turn on the electrical heater. When asked they said we use solar system during the day but at night only by request to save energy!!!Owner is greedy and lies about additional fees. She wanted to charge city tax on children under 12 and any child over 5 years should pay this fee. in addition, she wanted to charge us more fees on our third child although it’s mentioned clearly that the apartment I booked sleeps 6 people without any extra charge unless we ask for extra beds or covers (which we did not) luckily we were able to confront her with her own policy on fees that she added on Expedia not to pay this scamEven when we tried to leave after our first night (we booked 2 nights) owner not only refused to reimburse us but also wanted to charge us taxes for both nights even if we stayed for one night.

Die herzliche Begrüßung, die ruhige Atmosphäre und die liebevollen Details machten unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und perfekt auf die Bedürfnisse einer Familie abgestimmt. Ein Babybett sowie alles, was wir für unser Kind benötigten, wurde uns sofort bereitgestellt – das hat uns den Einstieg in die Reise enorm erleichtert. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es angenehm ruhig, sodass wir und unser Baby wunderbar schlafen konnten. Die Lage mitten in der Medina von Rabat ist einfach unschlagbar: Nur wenige Schritte zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, zu kleinen Cafés, Souks und den charmanten Gassen, die die Medina so einzigartig machen. Gleichzeitig fühlt sich das Riad wie eine kleine Oase an – ein perfekter Rückzugsort nach dem lebhaften Treiben draußen. Das Frühstück war köstlich, frisch zubereitet und typisch marokkanisch – ein Genuss, den wir jeden Morgen sehr geschätzt haben. The staff were great but we had trouble getting to the property because a cab driver left us off on the wrong side of the Medina. The shower was unique and we unfortunately flooded it !

Located in central location in medina. This is really a nice riad with excellent hosts. Breakfast is home prepared and hot. The room will transport you back in time but still has all the modern comfort. We stayed after this is Chefchaouen and Fes but this really set the tone.

The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day. A few improvements could be a bath mat as the shower has no doors on 2 sides so the surrounding floor will always get wet. Google map direction to the Riad is incorrect but luckily we were able to find it on our own

Lovely property near to everything. Excellent staff and a big thanks to Anna the receptionist, hope the spelling of her name was correct, she was awesome and made our visit even better. Thank you! One area that could be improved on is with the room anmenties the drapes in our room covering the door, sink taps need replacement and the toilet needs looking at as it leaked off and on. Other wise a very nice property with a great meet and greet receptionist. Breakfast was awesome,

Loved this riad. Within city walls (so have to walk a little, cars not allowed inside city walls) but was able to get someone to help with bags near taxi stand. Room we were in was spacious, clean with comfortable furniture and little outside space. Breakfast was included and excellent. Location was perfect.

Nous avons très apprécié cet hébergement pour son accueil et la tranquillité des lieux.Une grande souplesse pour un changement du nombre de nuitées fut démontrée. De plus la référence pour un taxi avec un excellent chauffeur à un coût raisonnable pour un transport à l’aéroport à facilité grandement la fin de notre agréable séjour . Étant situé dans la Médina, à sa sortie, un monde de couleur, d’odeur et de découverte nous attendait. Nous le recommandons fortement.

The package comes with breakfast and they asked me what time I would like to have breakfast, i told them 8am. They said ok. When i woke up, no one was at the kitchen preparing the breakfast. I had to forgo the breakfast as i have a train to catch at 927am. Else the room is nice and clean.

Avoid this horrible place at all costs. This riad should be banned from Expedia. Pictures on Expedia do not show the realty of the place. hot tub does not exist, snacks and coffee bar does not exist even filtered water does not exist you can only buy bottled water at 2 times the price of the market, I understand that most Riads are old, but this place is falling apart, and the owner does not want to spend a penny to replace anything (see pictures below)Rooms are dirty mold in bathroom and rusted taps and broken furniture.Hot water for a shower does not exist at night unless you ask the reception to turn on the electrical heater. When asked they said we use solar system during the day but at night only by request to save energy!!!Owner is greedy and lies about additional fees. She wanted to charge city tax on children under 12 and any child over 5 years should pay this fee. in addition, she wanted to charge us more fees on our third child although it’s mentioned clearly that the apartment I booked sleeps 6 people without any extra charge unless we ask for extra beds or covers (which we did not) luckily we were able to confront her with her own policy on fees that she added on Expedia not to pay this scamEven when we tried to leave after our first night (we booked 2 nights) owner not only refused to reimburse us but also wanted to charge us taxes for both nights even if we stayed for one night.

Loved this riad. Within city walls (so have to walk a little, cars not allowed inside city walls) but was able to get someone to help with bags near taxi stand. Room we were in was spacious, clean with comfortable furniture and little outside space. Breakfast was included and excellent. Location was perfect.

Ein plus der Unterkunft ist die Lage in der Medina. Leider war es das auch schon. Es ist ein ziemlich altes Riad was wahrscheinlich früher mal top war, wie man an den Auszeichnungen erkennt, aber eine Sanierung dringend nötig hat. Wir waren zwar im günstigsten Zimmer untergebracht aber das ist keine Begründung für eine aus der Wand gerissenen Dusche. Allgemein riecht es in den Zimmern sehr muffig. Die Terrasse wird eher zum Wäsche trocknen benutzt und lädt nicht zum verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist Nix besonderes verschiedene Brote und Marmelade. Leider das schlechteste Riad auf unserer Marokko Reise.

The staff was fantastic! They walked us to a Hammam after we expressed interest and helped translate for us. Breakfast was great! The beds were comfortable and the AC worked perfectly.

Located in central location in medina. This is really a nice riad with excellent hosts. Breakfast is home prepared and hot. The room will transport you back in time but still has all the modern comfort. We stayed after this is Chefchaouen and Fes but this really set the tone.

The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day. A few improvements could be a bath mat as the shower has no doors on 2 sides so the surrounding floor will always get wet. Google map direction to the Riad is incorrect but luckily we were able to find it on our own

The package comes with breakfast and they asked me what time I would like to have breakfast, i told them 8am. They said ok. When i woke up, no one was at the kitchen preparing the breakfast. I had to forgo the breakfast as i have a train to catch at 927am. Else the room is nice and clean.

Ein Babybett sowie alles, was wir für unser Kind benötigten, wurde uns sofort bereitgestellt – das hat uns den Einstieg in die Reise enorm erleichtert. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es angenehm ruhig, sodass wir und unser Baby wunderbar schlafen konnten. Die Lage mitten in der Medina von Rabat ist einfach unschlagbar: Nur wenige Schritte zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, zu kleinen Cafés, Souks und den charmanten Gassen, die die Medina so einzigartig machen. Gleichzeitig fühlt sich das Riad wie eine kleine Oase an – ein perfekter Rückzugsort nach dem lebhaften Treiben draußen. The location is too bad. You cannot reach it by your car. You have to park your car 500 m away and pay someone to help you get to the hotel. There is no near parking. When arriving you there was no staff at the reception. The area were the hotel is located us very scary. It is hard to go out side. It is a very bad experience you can ever encounter

One of the best stays in Morocco during our trip. Staff was absolutely fantastic and breakfast was the highlight of the day. Warm and personable staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.

It was lovely hidden place in medina. Loved modern Riad style interior and courtyard. Staff were very nice. The water pressure for bath was low ? and very slow to fill the hot tub… The breakfast was really nice.
