Room was clean, bathroom clean, lovely fluffy white towels. Enough packing places in the car park. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, only found out on our second day of stay that I could have requested a tea pot. I also suggested instead of bowls with marmalade/jam, could small pots be provided to put the jam into. Two complaint, one resolved, we only had one bedside lamp on the first night, I let reception k ow and on the second day a second lamp was delivered. Main complaint was the the TV came on automatically and woke us up at 04:30 on both mornings. It was reported and an attempt to resolve it however it happened again. I couldn't sleep after that. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, fairly spacious and warm. Plenty of tea and coffee. Asked for a quiet room and got one in an annexe. Room thermostat and windows. Didn't have any food so can't comment, but the menu looked good for both breakfast and evening meal and not expensive. Lots of parking. Wasnt difficult to find, but you really need a vehicle to get to it. Overall excellent value and a good sleep.

Checked in early ...Much appreciated after a long haul flight. Quick check in. Plenty of free parking immediately outside hotel room. Room was great size on the ground floor but with fencing in front of the windows for privacy which I loved. Big bathroom great shower. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities. Quiet room despite a few events being held in a hall opposite. Great location for me visiting family. Definitely recommend. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A CAR I think it would be difficult to reach using public transport. Expensive using Taxi/ Uber

Only stayed overnight, but with mobility issues , the stairs was a problem as there was no lift. Some lights were missing in the bathroom which made it really dark, the bed was very noisy once on it but the hotel itself looked really nice, room was big and the lady at reception was really nice.

well , i don't normally do reviews, i stay away with work every week so it gets dull. the hotel was nice, clean, comfortable. i arrived late, about 9.30pm. i knew the food had finished, so i wanted to sit and have a beer with a colleague. the bar was open but had to ask reception for someone to attend it to serve us. we had a pint of guiness (tinned). when we asked for a second drink at 9.50pm, we were told the bar was shut and they were 'not allowed' to serve us. If they were caught on camera serving they would 'get done' ? who by? its a large hotel, for a resident not to be able to get a drink at 9.50 pm is a joke. as soon as they ushered us out of the bar , i saw them lock the building up. Its clear they just wanted to go home, and the staff were quite rude when we questioned it. i would advise, if you fancy a pint, to stay elsewhere . breakfast was nice to be fair, if you like hard boiled poached eggs

Reception is very small. Picture on website not a true reflection. Bedroom is spacious and clean but pillows need replacing. Hardly any fillings in the pillows. No lift. No AC but fan is provided.

This hotel provided a basic level of accommodation and was comfortable enough. Yea and coffee provided but basic. However the decor in the room was very ‘tired’ looking and the bath was very worn and seriously in need of replacement. There was a bar but in the corner of a large fairly empty feeling room so lacking in ambience.

The 1st room we were given had a kettel with limescale in it and a bath with the enamel worn and black marks also purple marks on bath from some product that had been used previously we complained and were given another room.The 2nd room was on the 1st floor but there is no lift available as it is not being used anymore so anyone with mobility issues like my wife it will cause issues ! However there are some ground floor accessible rooms available. The radiator in our 2nd room wasn't working on night 1 so we notified reception of the problem and it was fixed promptly. Breakfast service was pretty good with a good sized seating area on morning one with a cook breakfast brought to the table by a lovely lady who couldn't be any nicer.Morning 2 breakfast was in a different smaller room but still ok but the cook breakfast was self service from warming plates.Self service continental breakfast was available on both mornings. Plenty of car parking space available. It is a wedding/events hotel also but this didn't cause any problems with excessive late night noise or drunken behaviour. On the whole a reasonable hotel tucked away in a quiet location good for if you are doing something in the area like we did (Beverley Races) . Nice staff and i would stay again, 4 out of 5.

Check was quick, straight forward and friendly. Room very spacious, spotlessly clean. Slept soundly on a very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom facilities with plenty of towels. Staff very attentive and friendly. Excellent value for money.

Staff were very helpful, housekeeping responsive. Despite my next comenta, wasnt thr worst hotel i stayed in. Dining wasnt great. Dont have bacon for breakfast, inedible each day (rock hard). I was faced with a basket of crusts to make brown toast! Rhe staff .mwbwr was aware but just turnedd them over, the basked was pretty full of them. The one main downside was filthy crockery and cutlery. I had to hand staff dirty cups, a bowl with remnants of soup in, and even a staff member fished around for clean cutlery in the cutlery basket. The coffee was cold each day out of thr pump flask. Be careful with thr tree overhanging thr staurs, pretty but also pretty lethal. I scratch the top of my head on it going up the stairs, my friend had to stoop down, and i slipped on fallen leaves on the stair (didnt fall thankfully)

The room was advertised as having a bath. It was initially in the annexe next to where there was going to be a party the following night. It had no bath. It had a shower. When I asked I was moved to a room which had a bath. As I approached this room, I noticed a cold in the corridor and the room was freezing. I wanted a bath but the water was barely lukewarm. When I reported this the man said he would turn the geezer on to heat the water. However, the water was still cold that night. I will never return to this place again. Shocking

Staff were pleasant and the rooms spacious. Could do with a little updating but it's more of an observation than complaint. Beds were massive and comfortable, and so quiet at night even with a wedding event happening in the adjacent building. The evening food was very nice, large portions so no chance of going hungry. Breakfast could have a few more options but was satisfactory. Would definitely stay again!!

Checked in very late due to traffic and the night porter checked me in. He didn’t offer any information about the hotel just the basic handing key and letting me know where room was. However the room was beautiful , huge comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom with a lovely hot shower. Had a kettle with tea & coffee.

Lovely room. It was an accessible room which we hadn't specified for, but much appreciated. It felt like an en suite. Strange to have a double mattress on a king base; why? Gave it 8/10 so would definitely stay there again!

Great breakfast, our room was in need of more lighting and the pillows are very small. When we ate in the restaurant the temperature of the dining room was very cold as where the corridors. Food was very good !

Room was clean and spacious,bed was comfortable and big. We where prewarned about weddings and noise which was appreciated (we where attending a wedding). Only complaints we have are; We had to ask X3 times ( I just wanted to listen to the the news before heading out)for our TV to be looked at (no power at all/was plugged in with all wires on correct places),and the water pressure was not very good at all.

Absolutely terrible hotel. I booked this hotel in advance and paid in full for the entire weekend. I went myself to check in as I had booked this room for my sons as we had a family gathering this weekend in the area so it seemed perfect. This could not be further from the truth when my boys arrived they were told there was no booking and had no room for them. (Even though I’d been in person an hour earlier and was told the keys would be waiting for them behind the desk)! ) Then after humiliating them in the reception they miraculously found something and very sheepishly said they could offer them a back up room for the night and would be moved into another room the following day. It was all just a complete mess they were put in a room with a single bed so one of my sons checked into another hotel in the area as it was too much and no one was helping in anyway. There was no manager and the receptionist was not willing to give any name for any manager or anyone of any authority. She was extremely rude and aggressive and did not care less about how the boys were treated. Is all she said was put your complaint in writing and email us. Totally unprofessional on every level I would never recommend anyone stay here if that’s how they treat their customers.

Room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The dining and other areas of the building fresh and well kept. The staff were always helpful, efficient and friendly. Coming back late at night didn’t work quite so well. I rang the number posted on the door three times and it went straight to voicemail. I had to walk around the building and knock on a window to get attention. I’ve stayed here before and this system worked well so hopefully just a hiccup. The breakfast maybe needs a bit of an update.The dull sliced bread and tired toasters replaced with fresh rolls and croissants perhaps? If you don’t like cooked breakfast there was fruit, yogurt etc. but otherwise the choice was not so great. Many hotels now have a self service bean to cup coffee machine for espresso and cappuccino. So much better than a vac flask and cold milk. This is a great hotel….a couple of tweaks would make all the difference

I have been staying at Lazaat Hotel for business for 10 years when i am in the hull area. It is spotless in every way, the rooms are fantastic (i have stayed in most off them) spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I am a light sleeper but always have a good nighrs sleep when i stay. The staff are all helpful, friendly and nothing is a problem for them. All this for amazing price as-well, worth more than they charge.

The heating was permanently stuck on, an engineer came out to turn it off but in returning to the room it was still on and our keys to cool the room with a fan were gobe to, this after a frends wedding took over an hour to resolve in the early hours and quite frankly completely unexcepable. Some of the bar staff were just rude, but there work 2 females would were helpful and nice returning glass with wedding favours attached. I am quite relaex but fould this service shocking so had to leave a review.

Check-in very straightforward, lovely helpful staff. Room was freezing when I got in, but had warmed up in a couple of hours. Probably not a bad thing, as not heating an unoccupied room. Reasonable evening meal (I got there minutes before the kitchen closed) and good breakfast. Good value for money.

It took over an hour to serve us in the restaurant and there was only 3 couples besides us. Breakfast coffee was really cold asked twice if they any hot coffee. Sorry can’t recommend this hotel

The 1st room we were given had a kettel with limescale in it and a bath with the enamel worn and black marks also purple marks on bath from some product that had been used previously we complained and were given another room.The 2nd room was on the 1st floor but there is no lift available as it is not being used anymore so anyone with mobility issues like my wife it will cause issues ! However there are some ground floor accessible rooms available. The radiator in our 2nd room wasn't working on night 1 so we notified reception of the problem and it was fixed promptly. Breakfast service was pretty good with a good sized seating area on morning one with a cook breakfast brought to the table by a lovely lady who couldn't be any nicer.Morning 2 breakfast was in a different smaller room but still ok but the cook breakfast was self service from warming plates.Self service continental breakfast was available on both mornings. Plenty of car parking space available. It is a wedding/events hotel also but this didn't cause any problems with excessive late night noise or drunken behaviour. On the whole a reasonable hotel tucked away in a quiet location good for if you are doing something in the area like we did (Beverley Races) . Nice staff and i would stay again, 4 out of 5.

Comfortable, fairly spacious and warm. Plenty of tea and coffee. Asked for a quiet room and got one in an annexe. Room thermostat and windows. Didn't have any food so can't comment, but the menu looked good for both breakfast and evening meal and not expensive. Lots of parking. Wasnt difficult to find, but you really need a vehicle to get to it. Overall excellent value and a good sleep.

Checked in early ...Much appreciated after a long haul flight. Quick check in. Plenty of free parking immediately outside hotel room. Room was great size on the ground floor but with fencing in front of the windows for privacy which I loved. Big bathroom great shower. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities. Quiet room despite a few events being held in a hall opposite. Great location for me visiting family. Definitely recommend. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A CAR I think it would be difficult to reach using public transport. Expensive using Taxi/ Uber

The hotel provided what I wanted which was a room to stay in. Try room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and tidy. Very happy to have stayed there. Would definitely return. The hotel is isolated in the countryside so be prepared to use its restaurant and bar or make other arrangements.

Staff were pleasant and the rooms spacious. Could do with a little updating but it's more of an observation than complaint. Beds were massive and comfortable, and so quiet at night even with a wedding event happening in the adjacent building. The evening food was very nice, large portions so no chance of going hungry. Breakfast could have a few more options but was satisfactory. Would definitely stay again!!

Nice hotel and surrounding area, with clean quiet rooms. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Unsure if the kitchen staff were on an off night, or the food was just off/out of date, but one of the worst meals I've ever attempted to eat. My table ordered 2 £24 steaks, both were inedible. Where the meat should have been a nice pink colour, it was a dull pink almost grey in colour, and exceedingly tough.
