The farm land was very nice. Although We came in late so it was harder to navigate, we found the place OK. The rooms were rustic feel but comfortable and nice set up. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. She offered us good information about navigating the area. Quick to bring extra towels and turn up the heat on a chilly night. It was the perfect location near the airport for an early morning flight. Con: the bed spread had some stain but we were too tired to have it changed.

Overall it is a lovely place to stay, nice big gardens to walk around, Staff was vary helpful, me an my sister stayed here for two nights, and as i didn't want to sleep in a double bed her my sister, the owners gave us a free upgrade to a cottage like place, it was lovely, we had our own bedrooms, sitting room, and bathroom. I would recommend staying here.

Love the location, 5 mins from Gatwick but you'd never know it. My kids enjoyed playing in the large garden welcome after a long drive. Host and room get 10/10. Perfect for an early flight, the bus picked us up outside the property and was at the south terminal in 5 mins

Plenty of parking, nice grounds and buildings. Breakfast was not included. Comfortable rooms, for old renovated buildings, nicely done, and retained old style. Bathrooms were a bit cramped, especially the shower. We would book again if in the area.

The friendly owner met us outside on the grounds and showed us to our room. She shared details of the house’s history noting that Queen Elizabeth I would stop and water her horses on the grounds. We loved the Tudor style of the house which is being renovated to reflect its past.

We got upgraded to a King room (the Kingsley room). It was spacious and lovely; the bed was comfortable. Access to Gatwick: straight-line distance to the edge of the airport is less than half a mile (but we didn't notice any airplane noise in the room), and straight-line distance to rental car return is a mile. However, because of the ... interesting... layout of roads around Gatwick, the shortest road route is 3.6 miles(!). Quibbles: * Shower was a little small and the controls were not obvious. Could use some labels. * Two light bulbs (of seven or eight) were out. * WiFi information was unclear, had to ask for help.

I had a very nice stay here. Saati was very pleasant and helpful, and it was a quick ride from the airport. The building is very old (1574!), and the surrounding area was very pretty. There were some gnats in my room near the window; to be expected in a historical building. They did not negatively impact my stay at all. Mosquito nets are provided.

We wanted to have a getaway somewhere a little different than a normal hotel and we were not disappointed at all. From check in to the minute we left we had a relaxing time in a stunning room with all the facilities we required. Everywhere was clean and the service we received was exceptional. The Oldlands Farm was outstanding and we shall certainly be back again.

The bed was ok except for the sheets were rough. There was no window to open for air on a hot day except for the bathroom. The shower was very small and had mildew it also required a large step up to get in it. There is no food there. It was hot and uncomfortable. There were slippery indoor outdoor carpets on the floor that felt sticky

The staff were great, very approachable and communication was great. Would definitely recommend and will be back anytime we fly from Gatwick! The rooms are like self contained pods and couldn’t hear anyone else even though it was fully booked.

Check in was extremely straightforward the room in the stable was very comfortable and the whole place was quiet and peaceful. Very convenient for the airport but without the constant hustle and bustle of an airport hotel. only 5 min on the number 3 bus and we were at the terminal.

Hotel was good and we were welcomed on arrival. great location for Gatwick airport. I managed to leave my watch in the room.. It had fallen between the side cabinet and the bed. Our host Satti, found it for me and posted to my home. Really grateful.

Host contacted me before my arrival to help with my time if arrival (outside of check-in hours) and to explain how to get there, about breakfast options etc. Despite my late arrival I was kindly welcomed by Saadi who show me the way to my room. The only downside was the walk through the bushes in the darkness, as the night bus stops 8/10 minutes walk from the property. I would probably choose it again, but as a place to sleep the night before an early morning flight, for the easier connection to the airport.

The hosts were amazing and very helpful. Place was very quaint and only 2 bus stops from Gatwick airport. Two very nice restaurants near by. One just across the street and the other was approx. a 15 to 20 minute walk.

Love the location, 5 mins from Gatwick but you'd never know it. My kids enjoyed playing in the large garden welcome after a long drive. Host and room get 10/10. Perfect for an early flight, the bus picked us up outside the property and was at the south terminal in 5 mins

Check in was extremely straightforward the room in the stable was very comfortable and the whole place was quiet and peaceful. Very convenient for the airport but without the constant hustle and bustle of an airport hotel. only 5 min on the number 3 bus and we were at the terminal.

We stayed in the “Stables Suite” at Oldlands Farm which was conveniently close to Gatwick Airport. Our room was large and kind of quirky which is to be expected when staying at a 500 year old property. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with information about the area. There is a Pub/Indian Restaurant located across the street however there is not much else nearby.

Loved everything about this property and it fulfilled my needs! Needed near the airport, easy and economic transportation, good food walking distance, staff very attentive. I needed to rest and it was accomplished. Wish I could’ve stay more days.

Rooms are nice, comfy beds excellent location for overnight stay if your are using Gatwick airport. (Ample parking) I have stayed here previously and will book again. Great Indian themed Pub across the road and great customer service from the staff.

Host contacted me before my arrival to help with my time if arrival (outside of check-in hours) and to explain how to get there, about breakfast options etc. Despite my late arrival I was kindly welcomed by Saadi who show me the way to my room. The only downside was the walk through the bushes in the darkness, as the night bus stops 8/10 minutes walk from the property. I would probably choose it again, but as a place to sleep the night before an early morning flight, for the easier connection to the airport.

Plenty of parking, nice grounds and buildings. Breakfast was not included. Comfortable rooms, for old renovated buildings, nicely done, and retained old style. Bathrooms were a bit cramped, especially the shower. We would book again if in the area.

The hosts were amazing and very helpful. Place was very quaint and only 2 bus stops from Gatwick airport. Two very nice restaurants near by. One just across the street and the other was approx. a 15 to 20 minute walk.

This place is quite charming and very cute! 500 year old farm 6 min away from Gatwick airport , you can take bus that goes to Gatwick right outside , there is a lovely pub with excellent Indian food right across , staff super friendly and nice! Overall I’m very happy with my stay!

The bed was ok except for the sheets were rough. There was no window to open for air on a hot day except for the bathroom. The shower was very small and had mildew it also required a large step up to get in it. There is no food there. It was hot and uncomfortable. There were slippery indoor outdoor carpets on the floor that felt sticky

Great position for the airport, we were given an upgrade to a suite which was a lovely gesture and start to our holiday. Plenty of nice local pubs so easy to find something to eat close by.

This is a bit of a hidden gem, very close to Gatwick, but still very quiet. It's excellent value for money, the room was clean and bed very comfortable. It is a bit hidden so was a little worried I'd turned into someone's property, but I was met by the host on arrival who was very friendly and showed me to my room. I only stayed for one night before my flight, but would definitely consider staying here again.
