Beautifully preserved architecture surrounding a peaceful courtyard, where at night you can see so many stars! The hotel is an oasis in the center of town, very quiet and secure, with a secure parking lot a block away. It’s extremely walkable to shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, have good WiFi and great showers with plentiful hot water. Rooms have good heating (which matters in July!) and nice down comforters extra blanket if needed. We were never cold, which was big concern for me in choosing a hotel. Beyond these comforts, the reason to stay here is the great attention and service. We got great recommendations for excursions beyond the most obvious choices as well as good recs for dinner. The hotel itself puts on a great breakfast with eggs cooked to order, cereals, and a full spread of cheeses, pastries, meats, toasts etc. They have an industrial looking nespresso machine and milk frother plus many teas - it’s great and it’s open early for those who wish to head out before sunrise! Coca tea is always available to help with altitude sickness as well as filtered water for your souvenir reusable bottle. They also put on a tea tasting every afternoon and a wine and cheese tasting every evening. It’s fabulous! Clearly a lot of love has been put into this hotel and it shows - the staff have thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and fun! We hope to return soon!

Architecturally the hotel was stunning, rooms opening on to terraces. The staff was very helpful. Centrally located in town. The hotel had fabulous amenities for the guests. There is a nice breakfast spread in the morning, wine tasting in the evenings, and a table laid out with snacks during the day. Wide range of guests making it interesting. Definitely plan on returning.

Incredible hotel ! Certainly one of the best hotel we had during our trip as a family in South America ! Thé hôtel is ideally located in the center of San Pedro de Atacama. Lovely renovated building with garden and pool. Very nice, frienfly and helpful staff. Only regret: we could only stay 2 days!

San Pedro is an oasis in the desert and this hotel is an oasis within the oasis. For starters, the room was very clean and comfortable. The site is amazing in the middle of town and it is right next to the church. At night, you can step out of your room and look up and see the Milky Way. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, the afternoon tea is great, and evening wine tasting is great. I would give them more stars if a could.

Boa estadia, mas não recomendaria para viagens mais longas. Pontos positivos: cama boa, ótimo chuveiro, café da manhã ok e que poderia ser antecipado se precisasse sair mais cedo; staff muito amável, localização excelente e o ponto alto era a degustação de vinhos diária Pontos negativos: não recomendaria o quarto para longas estadias, pois não possui guarda roupa, frigobar nem TV; a água oferecida pelo hotel não ficava gelada, o que era agravado pela falta de frigobar; nosso quarto tinha acesso a uma varanda que além de ser compartilhada com mais 2 quartos, era acessível por qualquer um no hotel, então éramos obrigados a ficar 100% do tempo com a cortina fechada, sob pena de invadirem nossa privacidade; café da manhã tinha sempre o mesmo pão, após 9 dias no hotel não aguentávamos mais comer sempre a mesma coisa. A área de lazer do hotel se restringe a uma piscina com água gelada

Absolute perfection. Incredible location right in the middle of town yet quiet and safe. Rooms are clean and beautifully appointed. Bathrooms are a bit small but they have great shower pressure and amenities. Our room had a cute garden but there are many locations on the property to sit and relax. The facility is beautifully kept and their customer service is incredible. Smooth and easy check in and check out. They totally spoil you with mid day snacks , afternoon tea and cookies and evening wine and cheese. Continental Breakfast is available from very early am for people who leave on excursions and more options ( eggs etc) are available after 7 am. We left every morning very early so cannot comment on quality of the full breakfast. The staff is incredible. Franklin, the manager, remembers everyone’s names and speaks to all guests to ensure their satisfaction. And everyone else follows his lead in providing incredible service to all the guests. We were there for 3 nights and wished we could stay longer.

Excellent service. Lucia, Monica, and Christian were all extremely helpful and amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are clean and the property is lovely. They have wine tastings in the evening too. Very friendly staff and perfect location.

Atendimento, localização, preservação do prédio histórico, tudo isso muito bom, pessoal top, café da manhã incrível e chá da tarde, degustação de vinhos e queijos, tudo maravilhoso. Os quartos não fazem parte do prédio antigo e o meu teve um custo benefício ruim, quarto casal exclusivo, as fotos do aplicativo não ajudam, meu banheiro não tinha vidro para a ducha, só uma cortina plástica. A ducha era ótima e a pia e o vaso eram novos. Mas ainda assim, o banheiro era escuro.

while atacama is a bit expensive this lodge cost about $200 / night is way overpriced! staff are very friendly particularly front desk agent carla. but rooms are small with no ac/ heating or tv/ phone in room. small bathroom but shower works well with hot water. you would expect a bit more for this price. otherwise, bed very comfortable, loved the location, clean facilities and evening free wine sampling is a nice touch. just a bit overpriced.

We had a lovely stay here, the staff were excellent and service was good, they fixed a couple of issues with our room straight away. The ‘wine tasting’ for guests every night from 6:30-8 is really great. It’s a lot more than a tasting (basically free wine and nibbles during that time), great way to meet and chat to other guests (if you want to!)… We had the most basic room which was small as expected but the bathroom was very small, you can only really be in there one at a time, we are two tall guys and there really wasn’t much space, you have to step down into the shower which makes the shower door frame very low, banged my head a couple of times. And they could do with another light where you unpack your bags as you can’t see anything at night, we had to use a torch. But all around it is a great hotel and would stay again, maybe in a bigger room!

Absolute perfection. Incredible location right in the middle of town yet quiet and safe. Rooms are clean and beautifully appointed. Bathrooms are a bit small but they have great shower pressure and amenities. Our room had a cute garden but there are many locations on the property to sit and relax. The facility is beautifully kept and their customer service is incredible. Smooth and easy check in and check out. They totally spoil you with mid day snacks , afternoon tea and cookies and evening wine and cheese. Continental Breakfast is available from very early am for people who leave on excursions and more options ( eggs etc) are available after 7 am. We left every morning very early so cannot comment on quality of the full breakfast. The staff is incredible. San Pedro is an oasis in the desert and this hotel is an oasis within the oasis. For starters, the room was very clean and comfortable. The site is amazing in the middle of town and it is right next to the church. At night, you can step out of your room and look up and see the Milky Way. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, the afternoon tea is great, and evening wine tasting is great. I would give them more stars if a could.

Excelente para São Pedro de Atacama, localização excelente, charmoso e bem construído. O quarto e o banheiro (principalmente o banheiro) não é muito grande. Ficando em outros lugares de São Pedro percebi que é o padrão por ali, assim como ar condicionado que são poucos que tem. Porém o ventilador funciona bem, fui em dezembro então a tarde fazia calor, ele dava conta. Degustação de vinho fim de tarde, funcionários todos muito educados e solicitos, café da manhã com bastante opção.

while atacama is a bit expensive this lodge cost about $200 / night is way overpriced! staff are very friendly particularly front desk agent carla. but rooms are small with no ac/ heating or tv/ phone in room. small bathroom but shower works well with hot water. you would expect a bit more for this price. otherwise, bed very comfortable, loved the location, clean facilities and evening free wine sampling is a nice touch. just a bit overpriced.

Couldn’t imagine a better place to stay than this in San Pedro de Atacama. The location is ideal, right in the center of town close to all restaurants, bars etc but is quiet and peaceful. The design is simple and elegant. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, good water pressure in the shower. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a lovely wine tasting every evening where you can meet other travelers. I loved lounging at the pool in between excursions and while waiting to go to the airport after checking out. Breakfast is great with an egg station. They can pack a breakfast for you if you have an early morning excursion.

We had a lovely stay here, the staff were excellent and service was good, they fixed a couple of issues with our room straight away. The ‘wine tasting’ for guests every night from 6:30-8 is really great. It’s a lot more than a tasting (basically free wine and nibbles during that time), great way to meet and chat to other guests (if you want to!)… We had the most basic room which was small as expected but the bathroom was very small, you can only really be in there one at a time, we are two tall guys and there really wasn’t much space, you have to step down into the shower which makes the shower door frame very low, banged my head a couple of times. And they could do with another light where you unpack your bags as you can’t see anything at night, we had to use a torch. But all around it is a great hotel and would stay again, maybe in a bigger room!

Terrantai Lodge was a wonderful place to stay to tour the Atacama Desert. The hotel is extremely well run. The staff is super accomodating. Christian is truly a fabulous host. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal - within 5 minutes walk of several restaurants and shops, and most importantly, where tours tended to end. As a solo traveller, it was also nice to have the daily tea/wine breaks, so I could socialize if I wanted to.

Incredible hotel ! Certainly one of the best hotel we had during our trip as a family in South America ! Thé hôtel is ideally located in the center of San Pedro de Atacama. Lovely renovated building with garden and pool. Very nice, frienfly and helpful staff. Only regret: we could only stay 2 days!

This is the nicest hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. If it is within your budget, treat yourself! Being my first time to SP de A, the outward facade is very understated (as is typical in this unique city). Upon entering the hotel, you will n be rewarded by the beauty of the facility and the amazing staff. The staff is very attentive and genuinely friendly in a manner that has become all too rare in the travel industry. The showers are good. There are many good restaurants that are nearby and all walkable. Given my tight travel schedule, my only regret is not spending more time here.

Architecturally the hotel was stunning, rooms opening on to terraces. The staff was very helpful. Centrally located in town. The hotel had fabulous amenities for the guests. There is a nice breakfast spread in the morning, wine tasting in the evenings, and a table laid out with snacks during the day. Wide range of guests making it interesting. Definitely plan on returning.

This property was a unique oasis in the middle of the Atacama Desert. The owner, Christian, has succeeded in making this hotel special with complimentary tea time at 4 - 6 pm and wine tasting from 7 - 9 pm in the common area next to the reception office allowing guests from everywhere to mingle and get to know each other. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary guest offsite parking was in a secure parking lot and each guest using the lot is loaned a key to the gate. I am looking forward to return visit.
This property was a unique oasis in the middle of the Atacama Desert. The owner, Christian, has succeeded in making this hotel special with complimentary tea time at 4 - 6 pm and wine tasting from 7 - 9 pm in the common area next to the reception office allowing guests from everywhere to mingle and get to know each other. Couldn’t imagine a better place to stay than this in San Pedro de Atacama. The location is ideal, right in the center of town close to all restaurants, bars etc but is quiet and peaceful. The design is simple and elegant. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, good water pressure in the shower. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a lovely wine tasting every evening where you can meet other travelers. I loved lounging at the pool in between excursions and while waiting to go to the airport after checking out. Breakfast is great with an egg station. They can pack a breakfast for you if you have an early morning excursion.

Pontos positivos: cama boa, ótimo chuveiro, café da manhã ok e que poderia ser antecipado se precisasse sair mais cedo; staff muito amável, localização excelente e o ponto alto era a degustação de vinhos diária Pontos negativos: não recomendaria o quarto para longas estadias, pois não possui guarda roupa, frigobar nem TV; a água oferecida pelo hotel não ficava gelada, o que era agravado pela falta de frigobar; nosso quarto tinha acesso a uma varanda que além de ser compartilhada com mais 2 quartos, era acessível por qualquer um no hotel, então éramos obrigados a ficar 100% do tempo com a cortina fechada, sob pena de invadirem nossa privacidade; café da manhã tinha sempre o mesmo pão, após 9 dias no hotel não aguentávamos mais comer sempre a mesma coisa. Location was amazing. I was originally worried that it would be noisy because it’s so central, but it was quiet. The staff were AMAZING! I chatted with Christian a lot which made me change up our itinerary a little bit and it was definitely for the best. The pool was bit too cold for me since we went in May (felt like a cold plunge the one time I went), but it was still nice to lay out. Absolutely recommend this location.

Overall a good stay. The location is brilliant. The breakfast staff were superb. The pool is really nice. And bearing in mind you're in the middle of a desert it was all quite ok. The hotel has a few odd rules (can't take your room keys off property; can't bring friends to your room) - not had either before so that was odd for me

Place is beautiful, very clean but my room had a very foul smell coming from the bathroom drainage not sure if it was from the shower or from the sink or a combination, We reported it and the person in charge very promptly went to the room to take care of it but eventually smell came back . Included Breakfast was wonderful with nice variety of high quality food items, tea and wine tasting offerings was also excellent. I asked for an hour of late check out as their check out time is at 11:00 am but they said no because hotel was sold out , right at 11 our luggage was out of the room Place is well situated right in the middle of town.
