This is a great, affordable option around Lavrio/ Sounio. While the hotel is dated, it's impeccably clean with comfortable beds. FANTASTIC HUGE POOL if you just want to relax. Very convenient to the Temple of Poseidon.

Het hotel heeft duidelijk zijn beste tijd gehad. Er zit veel potentieel in, maar alles is overduidelijk aan het verloederen. Nochtans nette kamer bij aankomst, maar wordt in dagen niet gepoetst (na twee dagen ook een kakkerlak gevonden). Ontbijt buffet is vrij karig. Buiten de bazin zelf spreekt personeel enkel Grieks. Zwembad wordt ook niet gereinigd, waardoor nu al de grond praktisch niet zichtbaar meer was (en wij waren er begin juli)

Booked this for an economical stay with a pool near to cape sounio. For the price we found Hotel Saron an excellent place to stay for one night. The staff are super friendly and helpful, even getting up early to make us an early breakfast for an early flight. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and we enjoyed the pool. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel figé dans les annees 80 qui ne vaut pas les 120€ la nuit que nous avons payé... Eau présente par intermitence, 10 minutes d'attente pour avoir de l eau chaude... Tres jolie piscine qui manque cruellement d entretien : eau troube et verdate... Un petit dejeuner qui reste en place toute la journee : pain sec et choix limité... Et pour finir nous avons eu une chambre sur le toit : tres jolie vue mais egalement tres tres bruyante des qu'il y a un peu de vent... Pour une nuit seulement et pour un budget max de 50€ comparé aux autrrs hotels fréquentés en Grece... Pour nous une deception... Seul point positif la localisation et le personnel agreable.

Strategic location to visit the Cape Sounion at reasonable driving distance from Athens airport. Our room was quite small, but acceptably clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay (mosquito net was highly appreciated!). Maybe the bathroom needs some renovations, but for a short stay it’s fine. The pool is a considerable added value, in particular for families with children (we didn’t had time to appreciate it). The owner of the hotel manages the hotel in her personal way: the entrance hall is a mixture of cultural center, shop, cafeteria… But she was welcoming and nice, specially for preparing the breakfast very early in the morning for us. Staying at Saron Hotel was definitely a positive experience.

A good stay for the budget-conscience. Room was about €50. Friendly staff. It’s a smoking hotel including the lobby and common areas which wasn’t great but they offered a nice breakfast. The bathrooms really need updating but the building amenities were good. Looks like a fun place to visit in the summer.

Property was very old. Needed major improvements. Beds were like sleeping on the sidewalk. Toilet made noises. Faucet was loose in the sink. TERRIBLE . The only thing that was good was the pool. I do not recommend this place at all.

Visited the property off-season so it did not appear to be as well-maintained as in the photos. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. Breakfast was ok. There is a restaurant beside the hotel, which had amazingly tasty food, great ambiance, and friendly servers. There is also beach access close to the hotel if this is important to you.
