Great hostel. Very friendly and informative staff when asked for information on trams and buses. Nice facilities. Kitchen and common room great. Kept nice and clean. Very busy with lots of people around the hostel. Nice location and only a few mins walk into city centre. Supermarket 3 mins away to the right when you come out the hostel. Tram stops opposite the hostel. Lovely twin room. Great comfortable beds. Very warm and snug. Basic but comfy. Always lots of hot water. Always lots of toilet rolls and soap in bathrooms. Noise wasn't too bad and didn't have any sleepless nights. After sightseeing all day and a few beers I was asleep within minutes. Only downside was the curtains and net curtains were filthy and had holes in. Appreciate not easy things to clean but can easily replace the net curtains for a few euros. Stayed in a lot worse places. Overall I'd give it 8/10 as far as hostels go.

Great communal atmosphere, fun to play ping pong at night and eat waffles and take a sauna in the morning and meet people from all over the world traveling in the Baltics/ Nordic/ Scandinavian countries. I would stay here again.

Great location to get anywhere in the old town area within 20 minutes walk or less. Close to a few beaches, good transport links. Everything was clean & comfortable. The sauna was excellent! Only downside was the room was stifling even with the window open and it was next to a main street that was rather loud at night. Would definitely recommend though and stay again!

Hostel is right across the street from the tram, buses and the Fat Margaret area of the old town. The train station is in the area. About a thousand feet down the street is an excellent, full service grocery store, and a convenience store in the other direction. Shopping is otherwise limited. No real sit down restaurants in the neighborhood, but then again it's very close to the old town. On cleanliness, i give them a "good.". That is, certainly it's not bad but overall it could be better. The hostel is in an old building but I had no particular problems. They have a basement recreation room with TV, community kitchen, and sauna which I can't comment on. They also offer a free make-it-yourself Belgian waffle facility in the morning. Also I think that reception is open 24 hours. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

La entrada principal no es muy linda. Pero apenas pasas esas puertas, todo es diferente. La habitación muy aseada y cómoda. Aunque la primera noche sentí mucho frío a pesar que la calefacción estaba en funcionamiento.

The staff were very accommodating and helped every step of the way and the location is literally fantastic with a supermarket, the ferry docks and the old town literally within walking distance. The free waffles in the morning are also a massive bonus! The room itself was nice however the walls are made out of paper. I booked the top floor to escape the noise but I ended up not getting alot of sleep and unable to relax. Bring either some comfortable earpods or noise blockers to get sleep.

Amazing Hostel - my en suite room was like a hotel and the common room was so cool to relax in. In terms of location, you step out of the door and you see the arch into the main road of the old town. Staff were friendly and they sold drinks and snacks at reception. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy hostel. I stayed 3 nights. Never got the chance to try the waffles because they were always gone too fast. I think you have to be there exactly at 9am to get one. The sauna was super nice though. Staff are extremely antisocial and seem almost annoyed when you ask them questions. Not really the type of hostel to meet people but was a relaxing stay

The hostel is built into an old historical building with a great feel. Right next to the streetcar/tram and bus stop. Old town right across the street. Walking distance to the harbour for the ferries to Finland. Staff were excellent and friendly. Loved my stay here. Recommend.

Noise wasn't too bad and didn't have any sleepless nights. After sightseeing all day and a few beers I was asleep within minutes. Only downside was the curtains and net curtains were filthy and had holes in. Appreciate not easy things to clean but can easily replace the net curtains for a few euros. Stayed in a lot worse places. Overall I'd give it 8/10 as far as hostels go.

Amazing Hostel - my en suite room was like a hotel and the common room was so cool to relax in. In terms of location, you step out of the door and you see the arch into the main road of the old town. Staff were friendly and they sold drinks and snacks at reception. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very accommodating and helped every step of the way and the location is literally fantastic with a supermarket, the ferry docks and the old town literally within walking distance. The free waffles in the morning are also a massive bonus! The room itself was nice however the walls are made out of paper. I booked the top floor to escape the noise but I ended up not getting alot of sleep and unable to relax. Bring either some comfortable earpods or noise blockers to get sleep.

The hostel is built into an old historical building with a great feel. Right next to the streetcar/tram and bus stop. Old town right across the street. Walking distance to the harbour for the ferries to Finland. Staff were excellent and friendly. Loved my stay here. Recommend.

Great location to get anywhere in the old town area within 20 minutes walk or less. Close to a few beaches, good transport links. Everything was clean & comfortable. The sauna was excellent! Only downside was the room was stifling even with the window open and it was next to a main street that was rather loud at night. Would definitely recommend though and stay again!

Hostel is right across the street from the tram, buses and the Fat Margaret area of the old town. The train station is in the area. About a thousand feet down the street is an excellent, full service grocery store, and a convenience store in the other direction. Shopping is otherwise limited. No real sit down restaurants in the neighborhood, but then again it's very close to the old town. On cleanliness, i give them a "good.". That is, certainly it's not bad but overall it could be better. The hostel is in an old building but I had no particular problems. They have a basement recreation room with TV, community kitchen, and sauna which I can't comment on. They also offer a free make-it-yourself Belgian waffle facility in the morning. Also I think that reception is open 24 hours. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Cozy hostel. I stayed 3 nights. Never got the chance to try the waffles because they were always gone too fast. I think you have to be there exactly at 9am to get one. The sauna was super nice though. Staff are extremely antisocial and seem almost annoyed when you ask them questions. Not really the type of hostel to meet people but was a relaxing stay

Great communal atmosphere, fun to play ping pong at night and eat waffles and take a sauna in the morning and meet people from all over the world traveling in the Baltics/ Nordic/ Scandinavian countries. I would stay here again.

Nice staff, clean room. Stayed in a room facing where the sun rises, so it got hot in mornings, even with the window open. Shared Bathroom near my room was a bit of an issue for cleanliness, but functional and was able to get done what was needed. Disappointed in the limited availability of free access to the pool and sauna-only 9-11am when staying there, otherwise had to reserve time and pay extra.
