I booked this property for the pool. Pool was closed without advance notice. Expedia refused to cover the difference for a similar property in the area with the amenity I wanted and the hotel only offered to let me stay at a sister property that was further away and not in the Gran Via area

Lovely hotel right in the centre of madrid, everything was within a walkable distance. Staff were great, we had a superior terrace room on the 7th floor. Wouldnt have liked 6th floor terrace as 7th floor overlooks them. Would definately book again. Only thing is the swimming pool is like a postage stamp, freezing, more like a plunge pool & only space for about 8 people on surrounding chairs. However we werent there to sit at pool all day, we wanted to see the city!! Which has loads to offer.

L'emplacement de l'hotel au coeur de l'animation de Madrid est parfait. Au vu de la chaleur annoncée, j'avais réservé cet hôtel pour pouvoir bénéficier de la piscine et du jaccuzi sur la terrasse de la chambre. La piscine a été fermé partiellement le samedi et totalement le dimanche. Le jacuzzi était très sale et ne donnait pas envie de s'y attarder. Bref un choix très honéreux pour une prestation non utilisée.

The location was great and staff was very helpful with any issues. The breakfast was great and a perfect start to fuel long days of exploring the city. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the pool since we knew the weather would be hot. Unfortunately the pool was very cold and that made the whole experience less ideal than it could have been (seems like putting up solar panels to heat the pool or use any other variety of non-fossil fueled pool heating would be optimal for this case).

Zimmer extrem klein und nicht sauber, vom Vorgast waren noch Utensilien am Boden. Von 3 Liften gingen 2 nicht. Hotelbar war sehr kalt, es wurde nicht geheizt. Gym war spartanisch eingerichtet und schmutzig. Bett ist steinhart. Bauarbeiten waren im Gange. Ständig lärm.

I've stayed many times at this hotel while on business in Madrid. It's location is excellent. Hotel is in great shape and clean. Elevators can take quite a while to show up at times. Great staff. Great restaurant. Great bar. Lobby is comfy and a great casual place to meet clients, friends and grab a drink.

This hotel is way overpriced and if you don’t know their language good luck, they are very rude. Breakfast Costs 3 times of what other hotels charge, the hot tub was filthy and I would never stay there again, I asked them to clean it and they eventually did and used the same nasty filter. It’s a tourist trap, everything is 3 to 4 times the regular price as other hotels in the area and I would never stay there again, the other local hotels are cheaper and better. Breakfast staff was rude and they charge $21 in Spain and you can get a whole breakfast mean for about $5 to $6 elsewhere and be treated with a smile, I was in Spain for a little over 2 weeks and my only complaint was this hotel.

Nos asignaron una pieza con vista a un patio interior, en la página de Hoteles.com no había opción de elegir la vista de la pieza. A la habitación se accede por largos e intrincados pasillos con escalas. Al abrir la puerta de la habitación te golpea un pésimo olor a azumagado. Having a room with your own terrace and a jacuzzi was the perfect ending to our trip. Amazing experience. If you are on the fence about whether to get one of the jacuzzi rooms -- book and don't look back! The rest of the hotel was very comfortable and classy, everyone was friendly and super helpful, and the location was perfect for walking or public transit whichever you prefer. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

An excellent hotel located right in the middle of things. Rooms are nicely appointed with terrific rainfall showers. The insulation isn’t the best and we occasionally heard noisy guests in the hallway though this wasn’t often. Be mindful when choosing rooms as singles can be incredibly small. I was given one that was literally the width of the bed though they agreed to move me. Highly recommend and excellent value for money.

We had been traveling all night and asked to check in earlier than 3pm. They were completely unaccommodating. We ended up sleeping in the lobby on a couch for a few hours. I asked several times to check in earlier than 3pm and one receptionist in particular was awful. She told me no rooms were available however the couple in front of us were given keys around 1pm. They made us wait until exactly 3pm to check in and gave us a room with no airconditioning. We had to change rooms as well! AWFUL Service!!

Lamentablemente fui robado en el lobby del hotel, haciendo el check in. El hotel en la noche no cuenta con suficiente personal y no tienen seguridad ni propia ni privada. Por suerte todo quedó evidenciado en las cámaras. Espero mi caso les sirva para mejorar la seguridad y garantizarle tranquilidad a los huéspedes. La atención del Director General estuvo a la altura de la situación muy amable y atento a mi caso. Pero no puedo opinar lo mismo del recepcionista que en todo momento me atendió mal y no apoyo en nada.

Vi var max uheldige og var uten vann fra fredag morgen til lørdag kveld. Hotellet kan bli mye bedre på informasjon da det var oss som hele tiden måtte etterspørre om hva status var. Rommet var rent og pent og de ansatte vi møtte på var imøtekommende og høflige. Baren hadde et bra utvalg og hotellet var fint pyntet til jul. Rom 712 er det største i toppetasjen. 2 balkonger og egen jacuzzi. Stor og fint rom.

The hotel is very well located and backed by a good chain, but our experience was not quite like that. We arrived from the airport and the taxi couldn't get there because there was a festival blocking everything. After walking 14 blocks and taking another taxi, we finally arrived at the lobby, but the building had no electricity! Well, we left our luggage and the bed wasn't a real king size, but two small beds pushed together that sagged in the middle. For me, the worst thing was that they didn't notify us about the parade festival.

There is a nice service lounge and coffe bar by the front area that is airy and bright where you can wait for friends or take a quick break to enjoy a drink. For the price I was expecting a little more. The rooms are very hot and you can control the AC, so if you’re going on summer just have that in mind. The WiFi is very slow you can’t navigate with it. The breakfast buffet is very expensive 22 euros per person, for that price 2 people can eat anywhere else. The location is very good, just keep in mind there’s a bunch of homeless near the property.

The hotel is very well located a short walk from Gran Via station, lots going on in this area. The staff were warm and friendly and made us feel welcome, we ate in the restaurant and bar and both meals were excellent. The bar staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed their service. Furshings and space are very good in the family room and as a party of three we felt we had lots of space, nice treats and easy access to everything we needed during our stay.
