This was a beautiful property on a mountain side. The drive way is fairly steep. They had fresh homemade cookies and thoughts of beverages. The room had its own fridge and microwave. There were thoughtful areas set up with books and places to read. The breakfast was large and very flavorful. We had a fruit & yogurt parfait followed by yeast pancakes, bacon and a homemade orange/cranberry muffin. There was also juice, tea and coffee. There were nice places to sit outside to watch nature. The WiFi was solid.

The accommodation was fantastic, specially after a long and strenuous hike of the AT! Don, the host was very hospitable and made us truly welcomed. From easy check in to delicious snacks , jetted tub and hot, homemade breakfast we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. We will be back!!

Everything was so clean! Don is an excellent host. We had cookies, a cheese tray, and wine waiting for us in our room. We loved the view from the porch! It was a beautiful sunset spot. We would absolutely stay here again!

Long Mountain Lodge was the best B&B that we have ever visited. All needs were fulfilled, the food was excellent, the accommodations were 5 star! Beautiful mountain setting very close to Dahlonega. Fresh cookies in the room, a carafe of wine in the mini-fridge, homemade snacks for "midnight raids" in the kitchen. The rooms were beautiful, large and very private. The owner could not have been more personable and caring!

Don, the host, was so thoughtful, kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, snacks and beverages were always available and he was always ready to offer tips and suggestions to make our stay all the more enjoyable. If you love bed and breakfast stays this is for you!

Long Mountain Lodge is in an excellent location for exploring Dahlonega and the surrounding area’s trails and waterfalls. The views are amazing, the breakfasts are lavish, and the host is super friendly. However, the bed’s mattress felt like we were sleeping on rocks, the outdoor chair cushions were mildewed, and while lavish, the breakfasts were not always extraordinary, in addition to the breakfast window being limited to 8:30–9:30. We enjoyed our stay, even though we didn’t sleep particularly well. Note, too, that the temperature controls are by floor, not by room, and on our last night the guests in the room across the hall set the thermostat to freezing!!! This is a great spot to explore north Georgia, but if you are looking for posh, keep looking!

The whole place is beautiful & breath taking...inside & out. The staff were VERY accommodating. The food was exceptional. The views are just so awesome. Everything was clean, neat, tidy and the atmosphere was relaxing. We had a wheelchair accessible room. It even had a walk on shower with a seat.

Stayed October 2023..I would highly recommend Long Mountain Lodge. Great location with a beautiful view. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful stay. So peaceful and quiet. Terrific host, Don, who gave us some wonderful suggestions for hikes. The breakfast was also wonderful and different each morning!!! We enjoyed eating supper one night at Montaluce winery. The food was good and views were really beautiful.

It is as beautiful and welcoming as the photos. Don was sooo accommodating and so easy to talk to. Gave lots of helpful input on where to eat, etc. Breakfast was Oh-My-Goodness delicious and melts in your mouth! Fireplace was the perfect touch to our beautiful mountain view and outdoor rocking chairs.

We had a very good stay. Kendall was very nice & welcoming. She prepared our delicious breakfast & had a good conversation with her. Everything was great however the place was a little hard to find as there was no visible signage.

Long Mountain Lodge was the best B&B that we have ever visited. All needs were fulfilled, the food was excellent, the accommodations were 5 star! Beautiful mountain setting very close to Dahlonega. Fresh cookies in the room, a carafe of wine in the mini-fridge, homemade snacks for "midnight raids" in the kitchen. The rooms were beautiful, large and very private. The owner could not have been more personable and caring!

Long Mountain Lodge is in an excellent location for exploring Dahlonega and the surrounding area’s trails and waterfalls. The views are amazing, the breakfasts are lavish, and the host is super friendly. However, the bed’s mattress felt like we were sleeping on rocks, the outdoor chair cushions were mildewed, and while lavish, the breakfasts were not always extraordinary, in addition to the breakfast window being limited to 8:30–9:30. We enjoyed our stay, even though we didn’t sleep particularly well. Note, too, that the temperature controls are by floor, not by room, and on our last night the guests in the room across the hall set the thermostat to freezing!!! This is a great spot to explore north Georgia, but if you are looking for posh, keep looking!

This was a beautiful property on a mountain side. The drive way is fairly steep. They had fresh homemade cookies and thoughts of beverages. The room had its own fridge and microwave. There were thoughtful areas set up with books and places to read. The breakfast was large and very flavorful. We had a fruit & yogurt parfait followed by yeast pancakes, bacon and a homemade orange/cranberry muffin. There was also juice, tea and coffee. There were nice places to sit outside to watch nature. We had a very good stay. Kendall was very nice & welcoming. She prepared our delicious breakfast & had a good conversation with her. Everything was great however the place was a little hard to find as there was no visible signage.

Everything was so clean! Don is an excellent host. We had cookies, a cheese tray, and wine waiting for us in our room. We loved the view from the porch! It was a beautiful sunset spot. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was raining hard when we went up the mountain road. We almost went off the road because it was so narrow and slippery. The resort address was incorrectly marked so we shuffled back down the mountain. When we called the host informed us it was incorrectly marked. We did not want to take the chance of damaging our rental car so we decided to go somewhere else where the roads are safer. We fouund a great B&B in Athens, GA,

Stayed October 2023..I would highly recommend Long Mountain Lodge. Great location with a beautiful view. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was outstanding...nice, friendly and very helpful. Very knowledgeable of Dahlonega area with helpful hints of fun things to visit and great places to eat. Breakfast was delicious. I would rate a 5 in all areas.

Beautiful hidden gem near Dahlonega GA.. Wonderful long distance mountain views from the lodge. Great place to unwind! Excellent breakfast served by Kendall. She was soooo very nice & helpful in offering advice on the area. We are coming back again!! Literally in another week.

Outstanding hosting with tips about the area, fabulous breakfasts (home potatoes with garlic aioli!), fluffiest waffles, homemade cookies & brownies. Bed so comfortable you don’t want to get up! Beautiful sunset views of the mountains, fireflies dancing through the trees. Go and be spoiled!!
