Stay was good. Room was ok, fan was VERY noisy in bathroom so had to switch off. No batteries in tv remote either. One bonus was there are Tesla superchargers at this site which for me was an added bonus.

A decent, well located hotel with EV charge points and free parking. The staff were great from check in to the restaurant. The rooms are a good size and clean, bathroom was a little basic and tired but perfectly functional. The pillows are rubbish though. A fairly typical Holiday Inn and one that I will use again for its amenities.

staff great , pool lovely for children but reception need to inform visitors that they need a pass from reception before walking round the pool as its external walk and if raining not good to have to return to get the pass breakfast lovely

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable however we were given a room with a wet room and the grouting on the floor tiles needed attention and the breakfast was ok more choice of fruit was needed

We opted for breakfast in our room and enjoyed the options we received, especially the pancakes. Everything was spotless and all the staff we welcoming and helpful. There was a cafe option as well as the restaurant which was nice.

If you can avoid this hotel, I'd recommend you did, we changed rooms because the first one was tiny plus the base of the bed was filthy, second room bigger but bed was like something that came off Noahs Ark, talk about passion killer, the bed squeaked just by looking at it, back broke as it was so uncomfortable, meal was horrible. We had booked for 2 nights but left after the first, when checking out noone wanted to know why we were leaving a day early,honestly stay clear.

Room smaller than expected. Curtains don’t close all the way. Bath tub curtain way too short. Water drips out when showering. Carpet not vacuumed. Has no view. Ambience good. Breakfast good w lots of options. Kitchen staff good and helpful.

Went to visit my son and stayed here it was lovely nice clean beds comfy we also had food while there and was delicious will definitely using this hotel everytime i go visit my son I also had the breakfast in my room everything fresh. I honestly dont have 1 complaint would definitely recommend

A great hotel for a comfortable and friendly place to stay. It’s not fancy, and a little tired in places, but it’s super clean, the beds are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of parking - just remember to put your reg in at reception. Overall a good pit stop

Breakfast choice was good, service was great. Good value stay for the 3 nights. Cleanliness could be improved. The bedding wasn't changed, even though it visibly needed to be. Given a larger room due to having a travel cot. Travel cot provided was great standard. Overall, happy with the stay.

Quick stop over on way to Birmingham. I arrived 21:30. no food available. Not a problem, walked over to services to get KFC. Room 001 was okay if bed a bit hard, but was right next to main plant room so continuous humming and thrumming and noise throughout the night. Should be a store room not a bedroom in my opinion. Mentioned it at reception, got a "oh dear, sorry about that, have a nice day".

The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, the springs of the mattress was felt fully when my stepson was trying to sleep. A new thicker mattress is required. He never got any sleep and ended coming into bed with us. Spoilt what would have been a good stay

Decor is getting tired and needs a refurbishment. We had a room overlooking road and road noise was loud. Bathroom felt cold as no heating and large window with no window dressing and downpipe noise. We have stayed previously with room away from the road and internal bathroom which was better. Staff were helpful and friendly and location is convenient for exploring the area.

My husband and I stayed with our two kids. We booked the family executive suite, however there was a ‘king’ bed which was supposed to be for three people. It was only sufficient for two to sleep comfortably. The pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. We asked for a second one of these however we were advised they couldn’t provide us with one due to health and safety. There was ample space in the room for a second pull out bed. I wouldn’t stay here again. At breakfast the service was very slow. There was no milk, then no hot water. By the time that was sorted it was almost time for us to check out.

Stayed Monday night and Wednesday 2 different room one very soft bed and the other very hard. But ok. Room clean but dated felt old fashioned. Water pressure on shower not the best. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Very impressed with our Executive room, nice size room and bathroom. Only suggestion is that bigger towel rails are fitted in the bathroom. To be eco friendly and reuse the towels, larger rails are needed so the towels can dry.

The small things we asked staff to do was undertaken without any problems. Restaurant staff and receptionists superb. My two concerns were lack of disabled car parking spaces, only three seen for 91 room hotel and swimming pool at hotel front due to rain. The latter appeared to be remedied day before we left.

Check in was ok but the bar staff were very inattentive. It took a while to get served as the staff member disappeared for quite some time just as I arrived and then continued with what she was doing despite a few people were waiting. There was not much left to choose from at breakfast even though there was a while left before finishing time and some later arrivals were not treated very politely. This was luckily not my experience

I went to book in. I had made a reservation via Expedia. The reception person told me there was no room for me. I asked the person to double check. But they either didn't or did not know what to do. Was told there was no room available. Had to go back up the road I had travelled down to another hotel for the night. I've called both the hotel AND Expedia many times. The hotel had admitted the error. However, I have not been refunded for this mistake, despite going through all the correct procedures. The last time I called Expedia, I was informed I would get a call back within 24 hours. That never happened. I'm STILL out of pocket, by roughly £95! I will endeavour, never to use Expedia or IHG hotels, ever again. Dreadful customer service. I haven't even been given the option, by either party to a complimentary stay on my next visit to the area.

Stayed here on route from Scotland to London. The hotel is right on the Scotch Corner roundabout, so very convenient for an overnight stop. Very functional hotel that does the job. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant good with nice range of food for dinner and breakfast.

The hotel location on the Scotch Corner roundabout makes it easy to access. The hotel is decorated in a pleasing modern style. Bar and restaurant service was very good. We have stayed here before as the hotel is handy for trips from south to north of the country. The bed was fine room a bit dated but clean. In the bar the service was good and the staff attentive We had a meal in the resteraunt. Not enough staff to cope with the numbers and food running out so not all choices available and what we has was skimped on and not worth the cost which is a shame because on our last stay the food was great. I was also disappointed that a service charge was put on the bill and i didnt notice till i paid or would have requested this be taken off

Choose this hotel for the pool it was closed when we asked about going at 5, Room clean and comfortable . Food was awful pasta dish was not properly cooked no sauce just water at bottom, though chips good.Drinks over priced £10 for a glass of prosecco.

The staff were the highlight of the stay. They were friendly, kind, caring and the community spirit was evident throughout every interaction. They were a real team. At a time when there was heavy staff, staff had walked half a mile leaving their car behind just so they could come into work and open up the gym and pool. It made our stay all the more special. Unfortunately the food menu was reduced and the restaurant was closed as there had been a problem with gas supply for the last week which hadn't been fixed. I had been looking forward to having dinner in the restaurant and having the sea bass. But the alternatives were lovely just not what I really wanted.
