The night we were there there was a gig on and also a 50th birthday celebration so the place was heaving & it was difficult to find somewhere to sit until our dining table became free at 7.45pm

We booked this place and were excited to visit. The bar and restaurant areas were well used and a little tired. The rooms had been refurbished and were in a better state, the food was good, the location unique.

We stayed at Tan Hill for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. We stayed in Pennine view superior room and it was breathtaking. Spotlessly clean, perfect in everyway. Great choice of drinks in the bar, staff were fantastic. Breakfast was simply amazing. Great circular walk down to keld across the Pennine way

The accommodation pod was a walk outside to the bathroom facility. The pod had a kettle but no water! There were no mirrors in the pod. Altogether a bit disappointing!
