Airport Hotel Sydney

There is no parking so it was very dangerous for a taxi or uber to stop to pick you up they have to stop right in the traffic lane and you have to load bags and get in real quick as you are holding all the traffic up and its is a VERY busy road

I left Sydney Airport at 10.30pm. I had received an email and WhatsApp message from the hotel that the reception closes at 10pm and that they were placing my key in a night key box. I had travelled 12hrs and I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and that I was only going to be staying 4-5hrs. The only thing I needed was a warm shower and bed. Managed to get into the hotel, but to my shock, there were NO TOWELS at all! No face towels, no bathmat! And given that reception was closed, I couldn't ask anyone. For someone who only needed a shower before rest, it was just the worst thing to happen! I didn't even shower the next morning either - I just washed my face at 3.30am and went to the airport. I reached my final destination another 12hrs later ... then got to shower! I've never been so disappointed with a hotel!

Convenient, IGA and shops by the train station. No parking or pull up close by. Heavy bags can be an issue if upstairs (no lift).

The hotel was quite clean, staff friendly and efficient. No lift for people with reduced mobility and smokers seem to linger in the external doorways

No onsite parking, lots of road traffic noise

Decent for the price but windows and sills were filthy, only very basic room, mouldy smell in air conditioner unit, and no lift to upstairs.

Named Airport Hotel but not very close to the terminal and no shuttle service. Also no towel rail, bathmat or hand towel. Definate plus was the local Thai Restaurant.

Friendly helpful staff and the room was very clean.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this hotel for the price. The room was spotless and nicely decorated The person at the check-in desk was friendly and helpful Exceptionally good value

Bed sheets were dirty and stained, and had hair on the pillows as if someone didn’t change the sheets.

The space was very dirty, baby cockroach seen. Chairs had food crumbs and beddings had a few stains. Room also had a dirty and stale smell, room just did not look clean and it was an unpleasant experience. Please do better with the cleanliness of space.

Staff were good. Bathroom were old and unclean. Cockroaches were crawling on us in bed at night.

Stayed there for 4 days nobody came to service the room neither take the rubbish

Airport Sydney Hotel was so bad I had to leave. The bathroom was moldy and the room dirty. The bed sheets were stained and dirty too. There were also bugs flying around so I was also concerned there might me bed bugs. I starting taking photos of everything it was so bad. The receptionist didn’t seem to care and I was more concerned about me, letting her know if the room was available to resell.

After hour checking instructions were not provided, thankfully the one good thing was the nice after hours security guard. The rooms were very dirty with a lot of visible mould in the bathroom

Clean modern room. Plenty of charging outlets and amenities. Very affordable and convenient distance to airport.

Convenient for one night if you’re needing to stay close to the airport. However the room was extremely noisy and we heard traffic and honking all night long.

We got the deluxe queen room, even though it was close to a busy street, it was really nice and completely. We had lots of natural light and the room was really comfortable! Very close to the airport and walking distance to Wolli Creek with amazing food options!

It’s really loud. You can hear all the cars that are passing through the Main Street. This hotel needs noise cancellation windows. It’s hard to sleep with all the street noise.

I was worried with it being outside airport shuttle range .but local public bus transport was faster and cheaper. Room was small but very comfortable..will definitely stay here again. Loved the decor

How can it be called the Airport hotel. It cost me $25 in a taxi and he could not park anywhere near it. The nearest restaurant and convenience store is more than 2km away down him and return up hill. The staff were pleasant and the accommodation albeit windowless was clean. I would rather sleep on a park bench the next time ... well you get what you pay for right but had I paid the Meriton etc I would have ended up paying the same including to and from transport ...

Rooms a quite small and walls are paper thin. You can hear other people snoring, coughing etc. The fact that they give you ear plugs should say it all.

Do not stay here! We booked because it was close to the airport but regretted it immensely. The room was tiny - couldn’t even open the bar fridge door fully as it would hit the bed - there was the same amount of space around the entire bed. The walls were paper thin meaning we could hear all foot traffic outside of the room and were kept up until almost 2am listening to the person in the room next to us on the phone to his friends. The shutters did not prevent all light from coming into the room so it felt as though a light was on the whole time. The ensuite was tiny and the shower water pressure was poor and there was mould in the shower. If I could give this zero stars, I would.

- No manual lock on door. - Sink next to the bed. - Tiny toilet, I’m short and if I closed the door, my knees touched the door. No idea how a tall person would fit. The toilet is literally next to your head when you sleep. - Extremely noisy from traffic. my room was basically next to the main Princes Hwy road. - The rooms have no sound proofing. You can clearly hear people talking in the next room. You can also hear their TV loudly. - Can hear the water run through the pipes which are visible in the ceiling of the room and covered with fake leaves - Light bulb was squealing, had to remove the bulb that was so old and dusty and hadn’t been replaced. - Fridge was noisy and had to unplug. - No phone to call reception. - Went out for the whole day on day 1 and room still wasn’t made up. I didn’t say anything to reception but when it happened again on day 2, I asked reception and they said no housekeeping. I had to ask for a fresh towel. The details on their website ad includes housekeeping. - No do not disturb sign for the door. - The hallway light shines so brightly through the gap under the door. I had to put a towel over it to block out the light. - No safe. - No one told me when I checked in that reception would close at 10pm and you need to access the side door using a passcode. Luckily there was a mobile number to call and someone answered to tell me the PIN. This information should be told to all guests upon check in. They include it on the card that has your room

Air conditioning good. Staff very helpful. Room tiny. Walls paper thin so conversations could be heard outside room and from adjoining rooms.

Staff not answer ph 4 times. Guy on desk needs another job wasn’t there when I arrived.Poor

Was certainly more than we expected, especially the unique ‘neighbourhood’ set-up, with each room appearing like a little apartment in a block. The room was modern, clean, with the needed amenities. Bathrooms were slightly dated but functional, with a roomy shower. Check-in was easy, being given the option of a ‘quiet’ room before we arrived. Unlike others, we heard no street traffic at all. The only noise were other guests wheeling suitcases to their rooms. Reception staff were welcoming and ordered us a taxi for 4:00am. Would happily stay here on another stopover in Sydney. Would recommend!

Staff were really nice and accommodating

No people to take care of checkin after 10pm. No way to contact the security guy for accessing for a traveler without local phone in the mid night. No elevator at all for lifting big and heavy suitcases to higher floors. It is not qualified to be a hotel at all.

Handy to airport and the staff ordered an early taxi to get us there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to nearby shops with a lovely Thai Restaurant there.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff, Maggie in particular, were absolutely fantastic and so accommodating! Very clean, has everything you need, and is close to the train station! Would highly recommend this hotel :)

Great location near Arncliffe Railway Station

Located on the junction of two busy streets and with minimal sound dampening, it was difficult to sleep. Additionally, there is no vehicle access or wayside for taxis to drop off or pick-up travellers

It is conveniently located near a train station and bus stops. However, as it is at the junction of two busy roads, cars cannot stop in front of the hotel.

I stayed at the hotel because it was very close to the international airport. I notified the hotel a few days before that I would be in later, when I got there, I had no key left for me or any notification, the security did rectify this within 10 minutes of calling them, which I appreciated. The location is in a major road so it is very loud, especially if you’re on the side with the road next to you. It was good for a solo trip, everything (bathroom, shower and bed) is close together in there, bed was comfortable.

Great Staff conveniently they provide snacks and drinks at front desk (extra charge) Double ensuite was really small but very cute and modern. Transport around the area was great! Airport very close-by (driving) Our room was close to the main road and we didn’t hear a pep.

Compared to most other reviews the accommodation was satisfactory. Bed comfortable shower good,all amenities worked although needs new vanity. Looks as though room recently renovated. On street parking within 100 meters and eating venues within 10 minute walk. Easy road access to international airport

Was a cute little place to stay. Staff was super friendly. Area around hotel is very traffic heavy. Close to train station to make commuting nice.

Very convenient location. Only a few bus stops away to airport terminals. But no breakfast included. Otherwise very clean, neat facilities.

Misleading advertising. Online all photos of a single room appears to have a seperate bathroom and is a good size. I walked into a studio/bedsit. Smaller than it says online. The toilet was 5 feet from the bed, the shower 2 feet from the bed. Mould covered air conditioner and mould covered wall and windowsills. Inside of the kettle was also mouldy. They would not change my room. After I complained I received a refund 3 days later. Not much in the way of food within walking distance and no food at the hotel. No lifts so you have to carry your luggage up stairs. Was in good walking distance to the train. Would not stay here again.

No portacots. Staff seemed a bit rude or short.. bathrooms are really poor. The rest of the apartment was actually useful. Parking was free on the street but not gauranteed. Pizza nearby was not all that good. Local grocer was great. Lots of variety.

its not what i exp[ected. photos looked very nice. instead very basic. location on an intersection. no parking facitlities. no dining, more a backpackers than a hotel. even motels have parking and you can order breakfast. surrounding area was interesting with no restaurants or proper dining facilities. a couple of take aways. yes central but still want a good experience.

I liked this accommodation for what it is; cheap and close to the airport. I found street parking easily though it is heavy trafficking at the intersection. The thin walls and noise from others in hotel did not detract from the facilities. I had prepared for limited surrounds and had a perfect stay. A good shower before a coffee and early start to the airport was ideal.
