The hotel has a great location on the Gran Via. It sits within a block that houses other businesses with reception on the 6th floor. My room was small and basic, but was clean with an excellent shower. Small balcony did over some excellent views over the city. I didnt take up the offer of breakfast so cant comment on how good this was. Useful facility to check in and out online which helped speed up the process.

I booked a night this hotel, but I did not end up sleeping there. The images and description on Expedia was not what I experienced. They did not have a lobby as shown online. The beds looked like they had the same blankets on them since 1950. The beds did not look like something I would ever sleep in.

Muito bem localizado, perto do metrô . O maior problema é que o hotel divide parte do prédio com outras empresas comerciais, elevado antigo, pequeno e sempre cheio. Café da manhã muito bom, simples mas com ótima qualidade!!!

Booked a further night in Madrid when my plans changed. So a different hotel from earlier in the week. The plus was the cracking rooftop view of Madrid. The downside was being woken by next room rolling in late! Found it a bit odd the hotel kept messaging me in Spanish about checking in (and out) online.

The hotel is really ordinary, everything so simple. The breakfast can be much better, its quality is so-so. In terms of cleanliness it is good (not excellent) but there were ants literally everywhere!!! The terrace was big and nice. The view that our room had was spectacular. The elevator is too small, too old and strange, it is not practical. The state of the hotel in the city is excellent, because Gran Vía is one of the most famous streets of Madrid. Overall, not bad; the grade could be 5.5 out of 10.

In the midst of a two-month European ramble, the Rincon was a terrific spot for my Madrid stay. About a one-minute walk from the metro station at Plaza Espana, on the Gran Via, the location is absolutely terrific. Check-in was a breeze (front desk is on the 6th floor, just left of the elevator), and the staff there were very nice and helpful, their english was much better than my español. The room was very good for the price, go with a balcony street room. Overall, a very good place to stay in Madrid.

Een cityhotel in het hart van Madrid op de Gran Via. Het hotel is helemaal gerenoveerd. Met erg goede voorzieningen: ontbijt, airco, verwarming, douche, de WiFi is uitstekend. In de kamers aan de voorzijde heb je wat geluid van de straat. Maar niet te erg! Het hotel ligt praktisch naast de metro, stop Plaza España. Maar op zich heb je de metro niet nodig. Alles is op loopafstand. Veel plezier!

Hotel acorde precio calidad.Inmejorable ubicación. Desayuno austero pero bien, solo criticaría del mismo la falta total de fruta. Nos alojamos en el 8vo piso aunque tenía muy buenas vistas ,el wifi era casi nulo e inexistente( imposible para los que desean estudiar y/o trabajar!!!) La atención muy buena y amable, salvo por las noches que muchas veces no responden a los reclamos de forma inmediata. Recomendaría alojarse aquí sin duda.

Llegamos un poco antes de la hora del chequing y nos dejaron entrar en la habitación. Y poder guardar las maletas allí una vez dejamos el hostal nos facilitó mucho el día. Gracias a las chicas de recepción por su amabilidad.

The hotel is really ordinary, everything so simple. The breakfast can be much better, its quality is so-so. In terms of cleanliness it is good (not excellent) but there were ants literally everywhere!!! The terrace was big and nice. The view that our room had was spectacular. The elevator is too small, too old and strange, it is not practical. The state of the hotel in the city is excellent, because Gran Vía is one of the most famous streets of Madrid. Overall, not bad; the grade could be 5.5 out of 10.

Hotel na přespání na jednu noc výborný, snídaně žádný hit, ale za tu cenu člověk nemůže chcít zázraky. Jen hotel je jinde než ukazuje úvodní fotografie, to opravdu není budova hotelu, takže se hůř hledá.

posizione centralissima e comoda a negozi, ristoranti, trasporti.Per contro la notte può essere disturbata dal via vai dei mezzi di vario tipo..tante sirene...Hotel con reception al sesto piano e camere dislocate in piani vari. Camere doppie premium non tutte uguali come dimensioni (abbiamo chiesto un cambio concesso dopo 2 notti ma i due letti singoli sono diventati un matrimoniale e non c'è stato nulla da fare...). Camera individuale piuttosto piccola , quella con vista è veramente una vista di striscio, quella standard ha vista su un muro a 20 cm dalla finestra. Mi sarei aspettata di più. Apprezzato il bollitore con the, caffè e biscottini. Colazione buona, non ricchissima ma di buona qualità. Non ci sono brioches, molto più ricca la parte salata. Buono per qualche notte soprattutto per la posizione comoda.

Hotel acorde precio calidad.Inmejorable ubicación. Desayuno austero pero bien, solo criticaría del mismo la falta total de fruta. Nos alojamos en el 8vo piso aunque tenía muy buenas vistas ,el wifi era casi nulo e inexistente( imposible para los que desean estudiar y/o trabajar!!!) La atención muy buena y amable, salvo por las noches que muchas veces no responden a los reclamos de forma inmediata. Recomendaría alojarse aquí sin duda.

I booked a night this hotel, but I did not end up sleeping there. The images and description on Expedia was not what I experienced. They did not have a lobby as shown online. The beds looked like they had the same blankets on them since 1950. The beds did not look like something I would ever sleep in.
