Motel Caloundra

We had to park on the street for an upstairs room and it was raining. Put the bathmat beside the bed as floor felt gritty. There was only peppermint tea and coffee pods weren't very nice. Bathroom was lovely

This was a great small motel near the center of Caloundra. There is no staff around but it was clean and very comfortable. Some of the rooms have parking and some don’t which was a little bit strange but overall I highly recommend it.

I stayed twice in two weeks the first time I was pleasently surprised with the motel. In my second visit they did not respond to my request for a room with a parking space- if they could not provide one they should have told me. Also there is no person on site but when I asked a question i. The chat it was never answered.

The lack of any contact with a human being was disturbing. A large ute had parked in my allocated parking spot and there was no one to discuss alternatives with.

Everything was great! Would have been better if there was a microwave apart from that 10/10

Very happy. Small establishment, but plenty of space. Well appointed with up to date finishes. Parking is limited, but there is plenty of street parking bordering the property. Will definitely consider using again

Property was clean on arrival although once inside the motel we noticed there were no cooking facilities, the shower continued to drip once used. No power points for laptop charging other than the one in the pantry and bathroom. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable.

Stairs a bit of a challenge Limited parking space on site. Free to air did not work on Television

Nice and clean, beautiful room. Close and easy walk to Main Street for shopping and eating out. Only query I would have is there isn’t enough car park spaces to units available. We enjoyed our stay

We had a lovely stay in this motel. It was very clean and comfortable and perfect location for the Events Centre.

The room was pristine , very clean and tidy. Just across the road from Caloundra Event centre which was great.

Rooms lovely and clean great location

The property was tidy, and had been recently renovated. Unfortunately some of the fittings had not been installed well - we noticed that the towel rails were very loose and at risk of coming out from the walls. When we turned the ceiling fan on a large amount of dust flew off and covered the room and the floors were very wet when we arrived. Wetter than you would expect from a standard mop Location was fine.

Convenient to The Events Centre. Clean bedding and towels, however dusting should be done, lost a perfume lid under bed, husband found a water bottle lid under bed trying to retrieve my lid. Door to bathroom great but morning light to bright, maybe block out at bathroom window. Overall liked location but more care in dusting. Says mini bar but our fridge was empty and fridge freezer frosted.

tv could not access digital tv channels

Lights left on outside at night were bright A thicker curtain as well as the blind is needed to stop shafts of light on side of blind A mat at the inside of door would help when it’s been raining stop water being walked in

I didn’t like the security light outside window even with the blind,it still lit the room up

All good. Have stayed here previously & liked the motel. Unfortunately, I forgot to remember how to get the tv to work & couldn’t do so. Couldn’t find any instructions to do so. Anyway, maybe next time …

Great location. Lovely room and bathroom. Very comfy bed.

The owners have done an amazing job at doing this place up. I stayed in room 9 which is a 2 bedroom one and it was better than some 5 star places I’ve stayed in. Checking in was straight forward. They have thought of some very nice touches like a full mirror in the master closet. We stayed here due to an event at the Events Centre which is a 10sec walk across the road. The shops and cafes are 3min walk, beach about 10min. We will stay again for sure.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and amenities. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous.

Self service check in is great after a long drive. Just keep your phone on you for the code. Nicely renovated.

good property, like the rooms & staff comes back quickly for any issue

The room was clean and had everything you need for a nights stay. The only downside was that the toilet was blocked when we arrived and we left to go out for the afternoon/evening and came back and told the owner who said he couldn’t do anything until the following day when we were checking out anyway. There were three adults staying and to not be able to use the toilet when paying nearly $300 a night isn’t ok. We msg the owner when we checked out who didn’t respond. We would recommend you have contractors who work out of hours if you own an apartment as a toilet is a necessary requirement.

During my stay, there were a few disappointing experiences. First, even though I selected the "pay at property" option, the payment was withdrawn from my account 2-3 days before my stay without any prior notice.
Additionally, the amount charged was $5 higher than the original booking price, and upon checking, I noticed a credit card surcharge had been added without my consent. I wouldn't have minded paying in advance, but I wish this had been clearly communicated to me beforehand. Second, the walls of the room were incredibly thin, and I could hear everything from the surrounding rooms.
Conversations, toilet noises, and other sounds felt as if they were coming from within my own room, which was very unsettling. Lastly, after checking out, I noticed another charge had been made without any explanation. When I inquired, the hotel claimed that drinks were missing from the fridge. However, we had already purchased our own water in advance and did not take anything. Despite explaining this, I was not given a refund. While the room itself was very clean and comfortable, I was quite disappointed with my experience, especially since I had been looking forward to my stay based on the positive reviews.

I liked the location. There are no staff on property, so when I didn’t know how to turn the overhead fan off and had problems with the TV, I needed to phone. Jordan was very nice but he could only fix the TV the next day. The on/off switch for the fan is near the bedside lamp, not the power button on the remote, so instructions would have been nice. The shower was great and the bed comfortable.

The property looks newly renovated and it has been tastefully done. The check-in is unique in that there is no staff on site. You are texted a code for your room number and key the number on arrival.

Perfect location! Walking distance to everything, especially the events centre which is why we came to Caloundra. Will be back!

Check-in via code worked well. The state of the room, along with amenities, was up to our expectations. Would I stay at this Motel again, definitely "Yes". The motel was close to the shops and only a short walk to the beach.

Beautiful newly renovated motel. We started with our 2 year old and had a lovely holiday. The room is very clean and is at a very convenient location!! Highly recommend!!

This was at the time of booking a no staff on site building which I was a little bit un sure of but they did a great job and we had no issues. Its walkable to main Caloundra for sure but it is very quiet at night and in The quieter residential area.
