Villa Matisa – Argegno Lake Como

Home was modern and clean with a beautiful view of Lake Como. Hot tub was great and the town of Argegno was an excellent place to explore the rest of the Lake Como area.

Hot tub was initially a little “dirty” but they fixed it pretty quickly and other than that everything was very perfect. The house is better than the photos. It’s very clean and easy to enjoy. Argegno is small and special…just wonderful. We loved it. We hope to be back!! Our kids are asking to visit again!

Villa Matisa was beautiful and surpassed our expectations. We stayed for over three weeks and found it very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful, however the lawn needs to be cared for more often than every 2 weeks especially during the month of August. Our property manager was very responsive and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the property and our stay in Argegno.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Matisa!! The house was a perfect place for me and my friends while we were visiting Lake Como. The house was spacious, kitchen stocked with everything we needed, decorated beautifully, had amazing views of the lake and the outside patio and gardens were perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Short walk down to the small town where we could eat dinner, shop or catch the ferry. Only downside is it's a difficult walk back up. Communication with rental company was excellent. Veronica provided me with a extensive docoment full of information on the house and recommendations for restaurants, shopping and so much more about the area. She contacted me prior to pur check-in, met us st the property when we checked in to review how to get into the house and went over other details. She responded quickly to any questions we had during the trip. Definitely recommend this house for your stay at Lake Como!!

This is a wonderful house up on the hill overlooking Argegno and Lake Como. It was a great sized space for relaxing with gardens on both sides. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need. Would gladly come back to stay.
