Everything was excellent and wonderful; only downside was the windows and hearing almost everything through the walls. Was situated well. Free and unlimited wifi was a wonderful change. Our hostess was awesome.

Easy parking. Good amount of space in room. No hand soap at wash basin. No towel rail. Couch smelt bad, like a damp dog. Door handle out of bathroom very stiff, and took some work to open it again. Almost locked in.

The person that checked us in was extremely pleasant. The room was large. It had all we needed in it. The bathroom was separated so the toilet had a door on it, then the sink and shower had a door to the room. We parked directly in front of our room which was extremely convenient. Whanganui is a large town to walk. We were not in walking distance to walk the entire town. This was ok for us, we used our car. I'm sure it could be done, but it seemed pretty far... The internet worked well. The TV had many channels. Only weird thing was: the room was for 3 people but there were only 2 seats for the table. Good thing we were only 2 people.

This was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were neat and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that disappointed me was that there was a stove/oven in the photo that I saw and I brought provisions for our meal accordingly. When we arrived, the room we were given had only a microwave and I had to go and pay for different food. This may have been my lack of attention to detail when I booked, but it did frustrate me. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the paintwork needs freshening up, the unit is spotlessly clean. Beautiful clean bedding too. I have stayed at many motels but I was pleasantly surprised when the manager knocked on my door to see if everything was ok and if I “needed anything , coffee?Tea? “ and to just let him know. No hesitation in recommending this facility.

Toilet rubbish bin was not emptied and I found a used sanitary pad in it. By the time I found it my family was asleep and it was so smelly I could smell it from my bed. I then got up and found it. Staff was surprised when I woke them up to show them. He did apologize but that's all. Yuck. Also my baby had black knees and feet from crawling on the floor which tells me it wasn't mopped. Double Bed was comfortable. When I switched beds I finally got to sleep. Wouldn't stay again though.

Everything was good apart from the bed was too cold. Needed a better duvet or another blanket. Had to buy one to keep warm the 2nd night. Heat pump wasn't working properly either. Probably needs filters cleaned

Property is right next to a busy roundabout so there's the constant noise of cars and trucks accellerating and decellerating. Traffic is a bit less during the night. Units are not soundproofed and the furnishings are a bit dated. On the whole this property is ok for 1 night.

Check in was fast and easy, but it was like booking into a 1970's time-warp. Room was clean, but everything looked and smelled like it'd been there a very long time. Noise from the road was loud as the windows were from a greenhouse, electrical sockets and light switches weren't new when Edison invented the light bulb but at least the shower was good and the toilet paper was nice quality.

Really lovely and helpful service. They were quick to find a better single bed when we asked as the original was soooooo soft it bent in half. Nowhere to hang towels but they quickly ensured we had clean ones each day to compromise. Good amenities but tired (remote control batteries held in with tape, cupboard door’s that don’t shut). Very handy location. Overall, it was about right for the price we paid.

Had a very nice stay, the room was spotless and well set up. On Xmas day was given a box of chocolates which was an unexpected but lovely surprise. Every one helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
