Unbelievable back drops and views from the property. Fantastic staff and food and excellent walking in the surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough this little gem of a place. In summer the garden must be stunning. We will definitely return.

Excellent stay at The Pheasant. Traditional coaching inn with welcoming atmosphere and staff. Spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable room with countryside view. Bath only, no shower but this did not detract from my stay. Lovely meal in the cosy bar, with welcoming fire. Very helpful and personable staff who couldn't do enough. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Will stay again when in area. Excellent.

I stayed overnight at The Pheasant Inn with my partner. I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Generally speaking I tend to book what's available on the booking platforms but having found this gem, will actively search for availability at The Pheasant Inn before trying anywhere else.

We stayed at the Pheasant Inn for one night and cannot fault it at alls The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked into the restaurant for our dinner which exceeded all expectations. The food was immense and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We would definitely recommend this hotel and if travelling this way again would most certainly re-book. Thank you all very much.

Attempted 3 peaks with my partner. We could only finish 2/3. This is a great spot if you know you will be finishing late in the evening. Great service, very friendly staff. Good breakfast variety options. Very comfortable beds, renovated clean bathroom. We will be back to make a second attempt at 3 peaks.

Nothing to dislike, the hotel staff were very accomodating to my needs and the food was very tasty and the choice was excellent. Nothing was a bother to the staff and the room was perfect for me. Clean and very tidy, although the shower and toilet were a former cupboard it was decorated very nicelybut would have preferred the washhand basin in the shower room. Overall a very nice experience.

Breakfast was great , was a very clean inn/hotel.Rooms were clean and had all the basics but a bit dated but it is an old building so to be expected. Wouldnt hesitate to book again , the staff were all pleasant and polite.No faults whatsoever with our 3 days. Sorry for eating all the toast !

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Our room was smallish, but fine for our requirements. Only downside was the bathroom - there was a bath with shower attachment but no curtain and the water pressure was very poor. We ate at the hotel on one night and had a lovely meal; breakfasts were good too.

Lovely coaching inn in beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Welcome very friendly as was service throughout stay. Room not huge but adequate and very comfortable bed with good supply of linen. Whole hotel was kept well heated. Beautifully cooked dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again though not sure if menu changed much.

We stayed here for 1 night but would have liked to stay longer. It is very convenient for Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding area. The bed was really comfy and the room had everything you could need. We had a lovely dinner, reasonably priced and in the morning a really hearty breakfast with plenty of options. All of the staff were friendly and cheerful, can highly recommend.

Only negative is no draws or full-length hanging space for clothes in the room. If I’d been staying a few days I’d have missed this. As it was I could live out of my suitcase for one night. The hotel was lovely and homely, everything you would expect from a little village pub. The staff were very welcoming, warm and friendly. Food was delicious! We stayed in Room 3 which was lovely and equipped with all we needed, very clean, I did peek in some of the other bedrooms which were bigger and lovely too! Bed was very comfy however, was woken throughout the night by the church bell chimes every hour but we did have the window open. The hotel is a short drive from some lovely places to visit and explore - ideal for Devils Bridge, Ingleton Falls and White Scar Caves. Would definitely stay again :)

The room and food and staff were excellent. Unfortunately the hotel had a serious problem with water pressure during our visit. They did as much as they could but the issue seemed to be with the local water authority. We hope it's sorted by now.

Easy to find. Staff friendly. Although the room felt tired it was clean comfortable and had everything you needed, however as a light sleeper a blackout blind would be welcome. We had a evening meal was absolutely delicious and we would recommend. Would stay here again

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Harriet and Michael were so lovely, welcoming, and went that extra mile. This hotel is amazing and our stay was wonderful. We definitely recommend the Pheasant Inn to all :)

I phoned to say I was going to be late on arrival. (10pm) and the first thing I was asked was if they could do me some sandwiches for when I arrived. Great service from the chap who was working the bar. Food and drink ready for when I walked in. Excellent breakfast.

Whole hotel was kept well heated. Beautifully cooked dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again though not sure if menu changed much.

We stayed here for 1 night but would have liked to stay longer. It is very convenient for Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding area. The bed was really comfy and the room had everything you could need. We had a lovely dinner, reasonably priced and in the morning a really hearty breakfast with plenty of options. All of the staff were friendly and cheerful, can highly recommend.

Room was nicely decorated and clean. Great situation with lovely views from the garden. Staff were very helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. I’ve stayed here regularly over the past ten years.

Attempted 3 peaks with my partner. We could only finish 2/3. This is a great spot if you know you will be finishing late in the evening. Great service, very friendly staff. Good breakfast variety options. Very comfortable beds, renovated clean bathroom. We will be back to make a second attempt at 3 peaks.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Our room was smallish, but fine for our requirements. Only downside was the bathroom - there was a bath with shower attachment but no curtain and the water pressure was very poor. We ate at the hotel on one night and had a lovely meal; breakfasts were good too.

There was a warm welcome at reception to this quaint comfortable accommodation. The friendly service continued in the bar where I dined regally on pheasant and venison. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. I will definitely return in the future.

We stayed at the Pheasant Inn for one night and cannot fault it at alls The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked into the restaurant for our dinner which exceeded all expectations. The food was immense and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We would definitely recommend this hotel and if travelling this way again would most certainly re-book. Thank you all very much.

Easy to find. Staff friendly. Although the room felt tired it was clean comfortable and had everything you needed, however as a light sleeper a blackout blind would be welcome. We had a evening meal was absolutely delicious and we would recommend. Would stay here again

Beautiful rural setting, new owners and the bar and dining rooms fully renovated in the last few months. Bedroom was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the food we had (dinner and breakfast) were excellent.
