Our stay was welcoming,room was clean, everything worked as it should, management was able to provide the room with the best view from the rear Balcony. Swimming Pool was refreshing. I would come back.No worries .

Woke up at 5am being eaten by dust mites. Fridge and bins filthy. Broken light covers and broken glass under the fridge. Floor sticky. My wife who has a better nose than me smelt urine in the room. Got out as quick as possible. Informed the Mgr later that day so others did not get eaten by dust mites. Currently washing all clothing.

From the cheery welcome we received to the fact that Pete carried our fairly heavy bags up to our rooms, we were made to feel right from the start that we were guests rather than just customers by both Pete and Danielle. We were given hints and tips on places to eat, where local amenities are and had the offer of a continental breakfast should we choose not to go out. The brand new mattress in our room was appreciated. Linen was good quality and there were spare blankets and pillows. Even though the motel is on busy Ipswich Rd, the double glazing in the rooms mutes the noise. Rooms are older but well appointed and very clean. The motel is a 3 minute walk from the bus stop, and a variety of eating venues with a Woolworths, pub, cafes and fast food outlets a short walk away.I will be a repeat visitor next time I am in Brisbane

The manager Pete was friendly and allowed us early checkin given we had an overnight flight. The room was cool, clean and extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities for a cuppa were much appreciated as was the clean bathroom with lots of room. Thanks for a wonderful stay, will definitely look them up when back that way!

We had an event few Kms outside city so was perfect. It's a motel on main road so little dated but everything was clean and working fine. Much larger than city hotels fitted 2 beds and plenty room to walk around with all our bags spread out on floor. Traffic could be considered loud but didn't worry us one bit. Friendly service from the owner and enough amenities around along the main road.

We were greeted enthusiastically by the owner, Pete, and felt immediately welcome. As we had never been to Brisbane before (having just flown in from Canada), Pete gave us all kinds of great ideas for enjoying the city. It was easy to hop on the bus to get to South Bank quickly and then hop a ferry to The Star for a nighttime view of the city.

We arrived earlier than we'd anticipated, sent an email requesting an earlier check in. Within minutes I received a friendly phone call from Peter letting me know our room was ready and we could check in right away - 9:00am. What great service!! The positives: The manager was nice. The motel is only 5 minutes drive from Greenslopes Hospital, which was our reason for staying there. The negatives: Unfortunately the motel is on a very busy road and the traffic noise and sirens made it hard to sleep. There's nothing the motel can do about that, of course, but it's something to be aware of if you are used to peace and quiet. The room was fine, but the bathroom badly needs renovating.

Having travelled to many places around both Australia and to international destinations there have been quite a range of hosts at various types of accomodation places. Pete and Danielle are in the top echelon of hosts and deserve high praise for being so welcoming and helpful to guests. The motel is ideally suited for public transport access and a supermarket is in easy walking distance as are a number of restaurants. Ipswich road is very busy and emergency service vehicles can be quite loud when they are in a hurry to get to nearby hospitals. That's not the fault of the motel though. Will definitely stay here again when in Brisbane.
