The swimming pool and spa was out of action due to broken heate

Ottima colazione inclusa. La vista sul lago la mattina è un tocco in più. Piscine e palestra ottime. Parcheggio facile. Nessun difetto.

Excellent location with lake views, pool, gym and great breakfast included. Great value for money. Only con is the property a little bit run down.

Spa and pool lovely, comfortable bed, approachable staff, easy parking

Food and drink was good, all staff were very friendly and helpful,view from rooms was excellent only downside was the pool needed a good cleaning.

A lovely stay in the Lakes hotel. Very comfortable room with views over West lakes . The swimming pool was great and the spa pool. No sauna and steam room but didn’t matter as we had a great stay

Lovely room with great view and a fantastic breakfast .. unfortunately pool heater had broken so unable to use the pool during our stay and staff on reception weren’t the most welcoming that I’ve ever met .. maybe she was just having a bad day

First time visiting, nice complex, our room had an issue but staff were great in a quick response / outcome. Friendly staff, clean place. Pool and spa - spa doesn’t work, but is perfectly warm. As a shorty, I found it quite difficult to get in and out of the spa, no hand rail and the step into the spa is deeper than most I've been in. Breakfast was perfect. Inroom facilities perfect for our needs. Balcony overlooking west lakes shore was nice 👌 to be able to watch the rowers during the day and nice view at night.

Great hotel. Excellent included breakfast. Just need the ability to have eV charging.

Incovenience of competing against diners and drinkers for parking spots. They should have private parking for the guests who are staying at the Resort. If there is none there then we would have to park over at the shopping centre.

The hotel needs an update the rooms are feeling very dated with mold in shower and curtains half broken. Food and staff lovely just needs a refresh

Lovely staff and the room was very pleasant with a great bed, large bathroom and very clean. Food options from breakfast to dinner and bar snacks. Some work needed in the hallways to carpets and ceiling but otherwise excellent accomodation.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms, especially windows and carpet. Pool and hot tub area need serious attention. On the positive side the restaurant was very good.

loved the staffs friendliness. We have always enjoyed our stays at the lakes but this time my husbands pillow had a terrible smell. we had to get a replacement. when we returned home I could smell the odor on his clothes. We will still stay at the lakes, hoping this is a one time occurrence.

Hotel is good but doesn't seem to be maintained well. Several lights in the room didn't work. Several jets in the jacuzzi also didn’t work.

We were on the first floor so got slot of noise from the function room below but other than that was awesome

Always a good place to stay. Clean and tidy, comfy beds, great shower pressure and amazing view's. Only thing i would suggest is to update too smart tvs, apart from that everything was perfect.

Whilst The Lakes Hotel boasts a very good location, close to shops and with some good dining options close by, the extremely loud noise we had to put up with from 11am to 9 or 10pm whilst inside our room was very disappointing. According to staff, the annoyingly loud noise was from the vent attached to the restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn’t sit on our balcony on the 3rd floor to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the lake on 4 of the nights during our 6 night stay as the noise was ridiculous and overbearing. We could not change rooms as the hotel was fully booked. The Hotel should advise people when they are booking that their balcony will be unusable and that the droning noise will be heard inside the room and more than likely ruin your stay 😟

We had a lovely stay, the one thing we could fault was the bed, the mattress really needs to be replaced. My partner and I woke up in a lot of pain due to the mattress. There was absolutely no support. But besides that we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the food was amazing and the views were beautiful.

The room was spacious and clean with great views from the balcony. The bathroom was well set out with a lovely big corner spa. The restaurant has a beautiful view over the lake with a variety of menu options. I’ll be back

Love the view on the lake. I was next to a noisy room and could hear the conversation of the people next door to me, so not soundproof. Room needs a bit of updating.

Lovely spacious room, perfect for a business trip. Desk with a gorgeous view of the lake. Staff were all fantastic, food was beautiful. TV needs to be updated to a smart TV - only thing that was disappointing. Will definitely stay again.

The only thing I think I would have changed was the air conditioner in the room. It didn’t work very well. Otherwise a great stay.

We checked in for our stay on the 9th of April 2025 and made the long walk to our room, as we did we noticed the halls are a bit dirty which wasn't a big deal, we got to the room and it was nice and pretty clean and all was good.... for about 30 minutes. The two rooms next to us had feral kids running up and down the halls and stairs screaming and smashing on our door, their feral parents screaming at them also, all while my wife and I are trying to enjoy our spa and relax. As we went to call reception to complain the fire alarm started to go off. We evacuated outside down the stairs to the carpark where the fire brigade arrived after about 2 minutes of us being outside. we stood around for 30 minutes with a bunch of other confused guest. No one had any idea what was happening, no staff came out to tell us or anyone where to go or what was going on. Complete lack of communication. After standing outside for a minutes I went inside to ask what the deal was where i was informed the ferals in the room next to us had set the fire alarm off with an airfryer in their room and filled the whole hallway with smoke and a horrible smell. I spoke to a lady at the desk and told her about the ealrier incidents of them running around, screaming and smashing on our door. She was nice and apologiesed but nothing offered for our inconvenience or to compensate for the horrible people next door ruining our night. Just to make it worse I'm still yet to recive my $100 deposit back 22 days

Check is was 2pm, we arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready. They did not allow a late checkout. Unfortunately the customer service on arrival was very much lacking. We spent $380 for one night. The room views were lovely, floor to ceiling windows and overlooking the lake. Carpets and bathrooms a bit dated and the bathrooms had a few mould spots. The room was missing the basics. One small soap provided. No bath robes/slippers. No moisturiser. I wouldnt recommend and doubt we would stay here again from our experience.

Great service and helpful staff and right next to shopping centre.

Service hit and missed. Some days you get good service and some days not great. The front desk one of the staff never bother to greet customer and very cold when you request for info or help. If they can maintain consistent great service, it will be one of the best hotel in Adelaide.

Bar staff and concierge were great

The staff make the place what it is. They are welcoming and helpful in reception, the bars and the bistro dining both at dinner and breakfast.

Staff are lovely and so helpful. They seem happy to work there.

Staff always go above and beyond

We loved our stay at The Lakes Resort. Beautiful view and friendly staff. The food service considerably let down our experience. We dined at Knots Kitchen the first night of our stay. We used the QR code on the table to order and were so surprised at how quickly the food came out and it was delicious! Our first morning we went down to Knots Kitchen for the complimentary breakfast. The complimentary breakfast isn’t a buffet, it’s a complimentary meal from the breakfast menu. Both my husband and I ordered a modified full breakfast. It’s a good thing it was complimentary as not only did it take nearly an hour for our order to reach us but when it did it wasn’t correct as per our order. Other then this poor service if I had paid $24.90 for that breakfast then I wouldn’t have even given it a one star rating. The little amount of “bacon” I got served was cooked bacon fat and the portion you would expect for a $24.90 breakfast was underwhelming. We ordered room service… a chocolate sundae for $16.90. Other then the fact that we had to call an hour later to remind them of our order it was an absolute rip off for $16.90. It was made in a tall milkshake glass and was delicious. Something you would expect to pay $5 for at a restaurant and maybe $10-$12 for room service but $16.90 for a sundae for one person! Despite our negative food experiences all the staff were lovely, it was clean and we had a great time.

Stayed for 3 days over Christmas as part of a longer trip. Great hotel - friendly staff, plenty of parking, comfortable room with lake view, balcony and jet tub. Breakfast was a highlight - we tried most options over the three days and all were great! Only downside is a slight drive (30 mins) to the city proper - very convenient for beaches and lakes though.

The rooms are very quiet, almost soundproof and no noise while sleeping. The Lakes is close to beaches and there is a mall across the road that also has public transport into the city. I thought the reception staff weren't friendly but they were being harrassed by some older, idiot men so i could understand why. I was there for a rest and the comfortable bed and the quiet would mean I would book again

Great place to stay,beaut view of man made lake,close to beach with cement walking tracks. Super easy walk across the lovely shopping centre. Nice meals within motel.

Functional and perfectly located

The room was clean, and the lake view from our room was stunning! We ordered room service for dinner, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Our stay included breakfast, which was also very nice. Everything was better than we expected!

Knots restaurant is great for all meals.

Always love this place. Only thing is the buffet breakfast has stopped and myself and guests looked forward to that as we have had that for years. Bit of a disappointment

Very friendly staff particularly house keeping. Great view over the lake. Dining experience at Tunki was exceptional. Would recommend the banquet as a unique experience.

Breakfast menu is good. BUT for people with Coeliac Disease like me, the big cooked breakfast had many omissions - no hash brown, no chorizo, no baked beans. One extra piece of tomato was meant to substitute for the lack of other items. Please chefs - I buy Gluten Free baked beans and hash browns all the time!! Easily available. Also dedicated Gluten Free fryers are not that difficult to organise Otherwise an enjoyable breakfast experience.
