Reception was great: staff helpful and efficient. Parking was adequate. We were given a free upgrade and I’d recommend the room with access to the veranda. Bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was slightly disappointing. However, it didn’t warrant a fuss. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Alfriston is a small Town with several restaurants and bars. Also, a few shops. A short walk to the Church and Clergy house to visit.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious room. Elegant decor, excellent service and food in the restaurant for dinner and good choice at breakfast. Very warm, hope to return one day!
