The property was in a stunning location, also roomy and we were very impressed with all the information leaflets that were within the property about the local area, places to visit, etc. The property felt very cold and damp (needed a good airing) when we first arrived, and the heating system was vey difficult to understand. I had phoned you prior to arrival to confirm that there were 2 SINGLE separate beds in one of the rooms, only to find that the bigger room with 2 singles in had been pushed together, but worse still was the fact that there was a VERY THIN DOUBLE DUVET between a 6ft width of two single beds, hence it just wasn’t wide enough nor warm enough. ALSO, a lot of the utensils in the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned and washed properly and there was no can opener.

We have stayed here twice now, both at Easter times. The cottage is clean, well looked after, and homely with fantastic showers. Outside the home there was slippy algae on the concrete slabs that caused us to slip several times. We had to walk in slow, precise movements to prevent further slipping. This could do with jet washing to prevent this happening.

The size of the property. Location of property Bed very comfortable Quiet and picturesque location and near to Amenities Bathrooms were spotless and showers excellent. Sofa could be renewed as it has seen better days. Although plenty of clean plates, mugs etc too many unnecessary cooking items such as glasses (eg Sherry & champagne flutes) but no beer glasses, also many cake tins to bake a cake but no tongs for a morning breakfast that would be more useful.
