Stayed 1 night

I'm a believer in supporting local businesses - which is why I chose this property for my single night stop-over in Helena. It turned out to be a huge mistake. I wish I had spent the same amount of money to stay at a chain hotel based on the experience I had. The background here is that I'm a nomadic traveler so I was in Helena for a single night. I chose this property given it was a local business and it seemed to have that 'small town' charm to it. Instead, it felt like living in low-income housing. The room itself was dull, stale and unimpressive - similar feeling to a hospital room & bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable, the kitchenette was outdated and the bathroom felt like a public restroom. By far the biggest offense was the lack of hot water. As a solo traveler driving hundreds of miles a day, a hot shower is the most important piece of the puzzle before I rest my head for the night. You'd assume that a shower handle with be a left to right / hot to cold but this shower was somewhat unique. Although someone came to check in the next morning - I was left without a hot shower for my only night staying here. Upon calling the office and speaking with the 'manager', the abhorrent customer experience was solidified. She blamed ME for not calling someone at 10pm to come address my issue. Not once did she apologize or offer resolution - she was instead condescendingly firm that it was 'my issue for not understanding how the faucet works'. Avoid this place at all costs.

Cozy comfortable space. So cute. Parking is tight for large vehicles. Our shower water took over two minutes to get hot, so plan for a bit of a wait on that. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was clean MOSTLY. Some hairs in shower - not obvious and could tell it was cleaned. Broken blinds on bathroom window. Sheets clean and mattress comfy. Decent for the price just a closet eye cleaning needed. Staff was very accommodating to my late check in since I couldn’t call before 7 (no signal with At&t.

Exceptionally clean, incredibly SMALL cabin #23. Absolutely not made for anyone with physical challenges. Location is very good, the staff member we dealt with was cheerful, upbeat and hugely efficient. It took us all of 3 minutes to check in. I would stay there again, but request a bigger room.
