El hotel es excelente! La vista es hermosa a donde quiera que mires , solo que la habitación estaba lista desde temprano y si ellos saben que uno llega desde lejos cansado , que les cuesta darla dos horas antes . ya que la salida es antes de las 12 y yo entregue habitación a las 7am . La piscina necesita un poco de mantenimiento y que tenga a climatización. El desayuno estuvo bueno , pero siempre dan lo mismo. De lo demás súper bueno . Centrico para las lanchas y para la calle principal.

Upon arrival to the hotel we could tell the view of the Lake was breathtaking. We had reservations for 3 rooms. The rooms to our opinion did not match the pictures described on site. Very basic rooms, for the price per night, the rooms were good for sleeping but no extra features. Our room had one twin bed, one full size bed and a table. There was one dresser but that was all. Bathroom also was very basic, sink looked like it was barely holding on and in the shower there was a soap holder that also looked as if was falling. The view on the other hand was spectacular. They had an infinity pool looking out to the lake and it was breath taking. We did have to ask if they could turn on the heater for the pool at night since it did get chilly. They also charged us extra at check in for any kids over the age of 8. The onsite restaurant was decent and they did offer room service.

Descent accommodations bu not outstanding. Nice grounds and great views. Wonderful breakfast Guatemalan buffet. While the staff was print to attend to my needs, the pretty much hover over you. I will have to call them the food police. While the were helping us with our luggage, the pretty much searched your belongings stating that by hotel rules (not stated ahead of booking) we weren’t allow to bring any snacks, outside food or drinks. It was super annoying!!! I don’t blame the staff but the hotel administration for such over the top intrusion. They advertise their nice pool all over their web site and Expedia page, but the pool hours are limited plus the pool is not heated. I will never stay there again.

Beautiful view. Pool was nice but construction was going on, we still enjoyed it. A bit off the beaten path which was nice but easily walkable to everything. Would stay again!

Desafortunadamente solamente la ubicación fue lo único que me gustó. Las instalaciones no cuentan con pasa manos en las escaleras viajé con una persona mayor y en dos ocasiones se escapó de caer. Tuve q ir a pedir yo misma jabón a la recepción Para poderme bañar, esperar 10 minutos para q la ducha se destupiera de agua. Quise ordenar servicio del restaurante a la habitación y todavía sigo esperando que envíen a alguien para tomar la orden ya q la habitación no cuenta ni con teléfono.. nada q ver con lo q aparece en la página, en ningún momento recomiendo este hotel, muy mal servicio 😡

The hotel was well located with recreation areas with amazing views of the volcanoes and lake Atitlan we enjoyed our stay, but the hot water in the shower didn't get warm at all, also there is no Iron and hair dryer For this type of accommodating that is expected as it is expected a TV which also was not provided

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The view of the lake is expensive and breathtaking. Loved the on site restaurants and coffee shop. The room was clean and staff was on point. My only complaint is the noise! I read some reviews mentioning it before but I ignored them. Big mistake. Dogs barking loudly non stop at 3 am and there seems to be a disco on grounds. The bass made it impossible to rest.

El hotel tiene playa privada al lago, se puede nadar en el a ciertas horas, el desayuno buffet es bueno, amplios y lindos jardines con gran vista. Se puede caminar a pie, a 5 minitos de la calle Santander que es la principal. Sin embargo a la salida hay transporte de mototaxis. La habitacion es un poco pequeña para 3 pero las camas y sus accesorios muy comodas y limpias al igual que el baño.

The property has poor cleanliness in the room and bathrooms. The bathroom sink was shaking.. no hot water ... Showers don't work properly. They didn't give me a tour of the property and inform me of their sauna timings and other facilities. When I asked them about it they said its something they don't inform guests unless asked.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were big and clean, and the views were exceptional! The only downsides were the lack of an elevator for our third floor room, and the constant dog barking at night.

We loved this property except for the constant smell of sewage gases both outside our room and in the bathroom. This property is obviously struggling with septic infrastructure, as I am sure most properties around the lake are too. Dogs bark pretty much all night every night, which was a minor annoyance.

I have a wonderful experience. The cafeteria has good service as restaurants as well. Just the tiny little thing is hey should provide extra towels when the reservation is for a family and clean a little more the showers.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The view of the lake is expensive and breathtaking. Loved the on site restaurants and coffee shop. The room was clean and staff was on point. Highly recommend! The restaurant food ok but would recommend venturing out and walking to town, lots of good food options. Rooms are simple but very clean. Hotel grounds are BEAUTIFUL! View of lake and volcanoes is amazing!

The rooms are not as nice as what yhe pictures display. They are old. There was a very tiny shampoo and shower gel. Not worth the price. There are better hotels. I thi k you pay forocation and not the room stay. The bext things are the gatdens, the views and the staff. The hotel isnot worth it.

This was a nice hotel with a fabulous view of the lake and volcanoes. It has plenty of places to take pictures or just sit down and admire your surroundings. If you need a quiet room, tell them if they can take you out of the main path. Our rooms where right in the main hall and people would sit down in front of our windows and chat at 6:00 a.m. There are benches in front of each window so of course people sit down and have no idea they're waking you up. Other than that, the breaksfast buffet was a bit limited but nice all the same. The bed was supercomfortable with dozens of pillows and the shower was great.

This hotel is in a prime location on the lakeside. It’s also in easy walking distance of Panajachel with good restaurants. The staff make this place and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The gardens are well kept and the restaurant food was fair value. However…. Unfortunately the room looked like a motel pull in. We could have been anywhere. The decor was retro 60s not colourful Guatemala. The room was large but the bathroom not well appointed. A tiny sink, tired and hanging on the wall for its life and toilet which didn’t flush properly were not what we expected for the money paid. There wasn’t even a shelf to put a tooth brush. Just not thought through. The restaurant is a huge room, brightly lit with no ambiance. After a meal or drink, there is no where to go of an evening to relax and chat. Subtle lighting and some sofas and easy chairs in part of the restaurant would have been comfortable and kept us in the hotel bar longer. This hotel needs some TLC, maintenance and thought regarding guest comfort. Not value for money or what was anticipated.

If you’re traveling with kids I believe is a good place to stay cause they have a nice area for them to run around, unfortunately for us was not a good place because we came tired wanted to relax but couldn’t cause of all the noise. Also the rooms have paper thin walls you can hear everything from your neighbor. Service was good, rooms were relatively clean.

The hotel is very well located at the edge of the lake with an incredible view but the first room I had was old and super noisy as I was close to the restaurant. The second room in the back of the place was very pleasant although no lake view

The drapes should be sunblock the lights of the hallway was in front of my bedroom window. Location is amazing staff is very helpful and very friendly.

Descent accommodations bu not outstanding. Nice grounds and great views. Wonderful breakfast Guatemalan buffet. While the staff was print to attend to my needs, the pretty much hover over you. I will have to call them the food police. While the were helping us with our luggage, the pretty much searched your belongings stating that by hotel rules (not stated ahead of booking) we weren’t allow to bring any snacks, outside food or drinks. It was super annoying!!! I don’t blame the staff but the hotel administration for such over the top intrusion. They advertise their nice pool all over their web site and Expedia page, but the pool hours are limited plus the pool is not heated. I will never stay there again.

The property is very well kept with friendly and attentive staff. Everyone was helpful and the view was outstanding. Dinner was what you would expect from a hotel, but breakfast was excellent and the coffee was even better.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were big and clean, and the views were exceptional! The only downsides were the lack of an elevator for our third floor room, and the constant dog barking at night.

Jardines de Lago is a very cozy, romantic place, very well maintained. The staff is very attentive, especially Sole, who attended to all our requests. The breakfasts were excellent, and the views were wonderful. Jardines de Lago es un lugar muy acogedor romántico muy bien cuidado el personal es muy atento en especial Sole que atendio todas nuestras peticiones, los desayunos excelentes unas vistas maravillosas.

Desafortunadamente solamente la ubicación fue lo único que me gustó. Las instalaciones no cuentan con pasa manos en las escaleras viajé con una persona mayor y en dos ocasiones se escapó de caer. Tuve q ir a pedir yo misma jabón a la recepción Para poderme bañar, esperar 10 minutos para q la ducha se destupiera de agua. Quise ordenar servicio del restaurante a la habitación y todavía sigo esperando que envíen a alguien para tomar la orden ya q la habitación no cuenta ni con teléfono.. nada q ver con lo q aparece en la página, en ningún momento recomiendo este hotel, muy mal servicio 😡

The hotel is located by the lake with an incredible view. Restaurants availability and food offer invited to visit them. People service were friendly and polite. Amenities were also convenient for a family with 2 teens. We really enjoyed our time there.

This hotel is in a prime location on the lakeside. It’s also in easy walking distance of Panajachel with good restaurants. The staff make this place and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The gardens are well kept and the restaurant food was fair value. However…. Unfortunately the room looked like a motel pull in. We could have been anywhere. The decor was retro 60s not colourful Guatemala. The room was large but the bathroom not well appointed. A tiny sink, tired and hanging on the wall for its life and toilet which didn’t flush properly were not what we expected for the money paid. There wasn’t even a shelf to put a tooth brush. Just not thought through. The restaurant is a huge room, brightly lit with no ambiance. After a meal or drink, there is no where to go of an evening to relax and chat. Subtle lighting and some sofas and easy chairs in part of the restaurant would have been comfortable and kept us in the hotel bar longer. This hotel needs some TLC, maintenance and thought regarding guest comfort. Not value for money or what was anticipated.

El hotel tiene playa privada al lago, se puede nadar en el a ciertas horas, el desayuno buffet es bueno, amplios y lindos jardines con gran vista. Se puede caminar a pie, a 5 minitos de la calle Santander que es la principal. Sin embargo a la salida hay transporte de mototaxis. La habitacion es un poco pequeña para 3 pero las camas y sus accesorios muy comodas y limpias al igual que el baño.

El hotel es excelente! La vista es hermosa a donde quiera que mires , solo que la habitación estaba lista desde temprano y si ellos saben que uno llega desde lejos cansado , que les cuesta darla dos horas antes . ya que la salida es antes de las 12 y yo entregue habitación a las 7am . La piscina necesita un poco de mantenimiento y que tenga a climatización. El desayuno estuvo bueno , pero siempre dan lo mismo. De lo demás súper bueno . Centrico para las lanchas y para la calle principal.

This was a nice hotel with a fabulous view of the lake and volcanoes. It has plenty of places to take pictures or just sit down and admire your surroundings. If you need a quiet room, tell them if they can take you out of the main path. Our rooms where right in the main hall and people would sit down in front of our windows and chat at 6:00 a.m. There are benches in front of each window so of course people sit down and have no idea they're waking you up. Other than that, the breaksfast buffet was a bit limited but nice all the same. The bed was supercomfortable with dozens of pillows and the shower was great.

Wonderful experience. The food is great and priced moderately. The staff is attentive and very inviting. The rooms are spacious and they accommodate every guest. I had 6 guests with two rooms and they made sure that all my guests had a bed. Overall, I loved the stay and will be staying here again.

Not recommended we paid for a room and didn’t get the room we paid for, staff was really unwelcoming and unhelpful, saying to book directly if you want special service, etc. No refund on the extra that we paid for the room that we didn’t get. Food is nothing special, and it is expensive. View is nice, but you have the same view from anywhere else from the lake, my recommendation look for somewhere else to stay.

The gardens and views as well as restaurants and cafes are excellent! The service is very good. The rooms are basic and need some updating. The doors are hard to close with a key. The comforters are outdated and need to be replaced. The towels barely dry, so thin and old. If you are expecting luxury this is not the place. If you are looking for location. Views, food, clean accommodations and service this is your place!
