The hotel is located up a short stone staircase. The staff is courteous and helpful. Although there is no elevator, the gentleman at the desk carried all of our luggage up stairs. The building is on the historic district and close to all of Pula attractions.

Great location! 5 minutes walk to the arena and then 10 more to the old town where you can find all the restaurants & terrasses to relax after a long day! Parking is a challenge in Pula but Hotel Scaletta have access to reserved spots that will take a burden off your shoulders. Drop the car there and walk your way around is the best way to enjoy the city!

Hotel Scaletta is in a great location, about 3 minutes walk from the amphitheatre and start of the historic city. Parking is a few minutes walk away so its best to drop your bags first. Check in was fabulous, very helpful and friendly and even showed me a video of how to get to the parking after I parked in the wrong place. Our room was a good size with both AC and window shutters and lovely decor and personal touches. There was no kettle (a pain for me as I usually have my first tea at 6AM) although you could get tea and coffee from the restaurant downstairs. We also found the internet connection kept dropping so ended up tethering our mobiles to use instead. Breakfast was outside and down the steps to a room under the hotel, a large and grand location. Breakfast was included in the price and a good start to the day but the choice was more limited than the other hotels on this trip. A good value for money break though.

Attention, pas pratique pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Seul bémol, l'obligation de quitter la chambre à 10 hrs. Idéalement situé à 5 grosses minutes de la gare des bus (desservie entre autres par le bus de l'aéroport) et à 3 minutes de l'amphithéâtre. Quartier très calme.

Sehr schönes Hotel nahe der Altstadt. Man kann alles in wenigen Minuten per Fuß erreichen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Das Bad verfügt über eine Badewanne mit Dusche. Der Service ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück ist sehr schön. Würst, Käse und Eier jeglicher Zubereitungsart sowie Kaffee, Tee, Säfte und Süsskram. Zu beachten ist, dass sowohl der Zugang zum Hotel als auch zu den Zimmern mit vielen Treppen verbunden ist. Jederzeit zu empfehlen für Städte- und Rundreisende.

Wie schon oben angeklickt, das Frühstück war nicht so berauschend, aber insgesamt haben wir keine Klagen, und freundlicherweise kostete uns der Parkplatz auch nichts. Wie "uns" Autofahrern bekannt, ist ja innerstädtisches Parken heutzutage das Problem. Die Lage von "Scaletta" ist sehr schön, also: empfehlenswert!

Convenient boutique hotel close to the ferry and within easy walking distance of most attractions. The owner waited for us when our ferry was delayed by more than an hour. Breakfast was a bit minimal but sufficient. The property was a bit in need of some updating but was clean and quiet.

The hotel's location was absolutely ideal, right in the heart of the city. A few minutes away from the amfiteatar arena and 5 mins to the main bus station.The staff were incredibly polite and helpful.The room was very clean. would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting to Pula

Property is in a great location, all the touristy bits are within walking distance. Staff were friendly and the room was clean but the beds were a bit hard. The decor is very quirky. The hotel had everything you need in it but we did not receive anything for our vip booking.

First, perfect location - 5mins to the bus station (airport or other city), and 5mins from the Arena! Could not be better. Also, very quiet, not a noise a night, probably due to new windows. My solo-room was small of course, but with everything in it: functional bathroom, wonderful AC, mini-fridge, a desk, and a big chair for my open rollerboard. Outstanding friendly welcome and service through my stay, with guidance to good restaurants. Finally, breakfast included with a good selection of sweet vs. savory items. And coffee! Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. The service was excellent from the front desk and breakfast servers. Bed was very comfy and the shower had great water pressure. We came by ferry and it was running late, we were warmly welcomed when we arrived and were given a suggestion for a nice restaurant that was only about a 8 min walk right past the colosseum! Quick checkout following day, they ordered us a taxi and gave us the price they were quoted. Cabby did last minute charge us 5 Er for our luggage. A short but pleasant stay for us.

Excellent accueil. La personne m'a envoyé un message le matin pour connaître l'heure d'arrivée, et m'a attendu. Elle m'a donné les renseignements. Départ. J'ai laissé le matin mes sacs pour les récupérer l'après-midi. Ils sont restés, à l'accueil, bien visibles. Quand je suis retourné l'après-midi, je n'ai vu personne durant les 3 minutes que j'ai passé. J'ai récupéré les sacs et suis parti - tout est en ordre, parfait, mais malgre que nous soyons en Croatie, un pays encore normal, j'ai trouvé imprudent de les laisser comme ça visibles dans la pièce, et que n'importe quel visiteur aurait pu récupérer à ma place. Chambre correcte. Petit-déjeuner offert! Merci pour ce séjour

J'ai récupéré les sacs et suis parti - tout est en ordre, parfait, mais malgre que nous soyons en Croatie, un pays encore normal, j'ai trouvé imprudent de les laisser comme ça visibles dans la pièce, et que n'importe quel visiteur aurait pu récupérer à ma place. First, perfect location - 5mins to the bus station (airport or other city), and 5mins from the Arena! Could not be better. Also, very quiet, not a noise a night, probably due to new windows. My solo-room was small of course, but with everything in it: functional bathroom, wonderful AC, mini-fridge, a desk, and a big chair for my open rollerboard. Great location! 5 minutes walk to the arena and then 10 more to the old town where you can find all the restaurants & terrasses to relax after a long day! Parking is a challenge in Pula but Hotel Scaletta have access to reserved spots that will take a burden off your shoulders. Drop the car there and walk your way around is the best way to enjoy the city!

Hotel Scaletta is in a great location, about 3 minutes walk from the amphitheatre and start of the historic city. Parking is a few minutes walk away so its best to drop your bags first. Check in was fabulous, very helpful and friendly and even showed me a video of how to get to the parking after I parked in the wrong place. Our room was a good size with both AC and window shutters and lovely decor and personal touches. There was no kettle (a pain for me as I usually have my first tea at 6AM) although you could get tea and coffee from the restaurant downstairs. We also found the internet connection kept dropping so ended up tethering our mobiles to use instead. Breakfast was outside and down the steps to a room under the hotel, a large and grand location. Breakfast was included in the price and a good start to the day but the choice was more limited than the other hotels on this trip. A good value for money break though.

Wie "uns" Autofahrern bekannt, ist ja innerstädtisches Parken heutzutage das Problem. Die Lage von "Scaletta" ist sehr schön, also: empfehlenswert!

Very nice and charming hotel in a great location to everything of interest in Luna. Owners and staff was wonderful and helpful in accommodating you if needed. The breakfast area is charming and cosy with a nice selection of food with special orders for omelets and scrambled eggs. Rooms was nice and comfortable and has everything you need. You will not be disappointed staying at the Scaletta hotel in Luna.

The staff were very helpful and even helped us carry our bags up the flight of stairs. The breakfast choice was excellent with attentive service, freshly scrambled. The position near the Arena with the town centre and harbour being easily walkable. We would definitely stay again but take more notice when the gladiators display is scheduled. Go down past the garage opposite and there's a local bar next to a supermarket. The staff went above and beyond service at all times. Thank You to them all

Getting to the hotel by car is easy, park at the bottom of the stairs and check in. Bottom of the stairs is not a parking spot but it was ok to park at the curb and check in. Hotel is old but it was clean and the air conditioner worked well. Hotel is within walking distance to most of the things to do there and there is food nearby you just need to walk about 10 to 15 minutes. Hotel parking is 2 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast was minimal but good enough for me. Area was very safe no worries. Not a new hotel so don’t expect a 5 star hotel some things are old but everything works as it should and overall a good place to stay for the price.
