If you want a true Riad experience this is it. The center courtyard is beautiful and having breakfast there every morning was delightful. The breakfast was delicious and a true Moroccan feast. An American breakfast is available as well. The staff were truly amazing and very helpful. I would definitely stay again

We recently stayed but unfortunately we were disappointed. This is not a criticism of the staff who were vert helpful and welcoming, The property itself was disappointing. It needs some TLC and general maintenance. Our room was pleasant, but the curtain in front of the door was hanging off, there were two safes in our room and neither worked - one had a low battery warning and the other had no battery charge and the back up key to the safe was also missing. In the wardrobe area there was also a piece of wood discarded that has fallen off a shelf and the front panel was missing off some pipes . The door to the storage area was broken off. The shower was so boiling hot at times that we had to move away until the temp. regulated. We were offered a choice of 3 breakfast on the 1st morning - Berber, Arabic and English. On the second and third day we were just offered a choice of two eggs, everything else was the same; when we questioned this we were told they didn't have all the ingredients to give us a choice! The rooftop terrace was very poor (I probs should have known as there are few photos of it!). It was very dusty and did not look like anyone maintained it. The rain curtains were very dirty, there were items of broken furniture etc.. piled up and hanging cables, there was a wall light hanging down with no cover and a plug socket also. There was a double sun lounger which did not have covers on two of the cushions and was just foam pads. It could be amazing.

The riad is absolutely gorgeous and a quiet safe haven to retreat to after a hectic day in the centre. I found it easier to approach through Derb Dekkak, but even then is hard to find the first time. Keep looking though, it's worth it!

We loved our stay. Esme and Tarek made the stay even more enjoyable. They were hospitable and gave great advice for experiences nearby. The riad was constantly being kept clean throughout the day.
