Paid with credit card was charged a $50 deposit . Breakfast was nothing mire than cereal and Danish i would not call that a continental breakfast. Had to park in the front and walk around back to our room.

The pictures arent like they claim the rooms look like. When i went to go warm my food up in the microwave they offer for your room and there were roaches crawling around indise the microwave GROSS!!!

The room could have been cleaner the floors were not mopped the bathroom toilet paper holder kept coming out of the wall . The shower curtain was hung backwards to hide the mold on it . The bed was not comfortable at all the pillows were cheap Walmart pillows not comfortable I probably won’t stay there again over all this place needs work

Staff has been pleasant to deal with, and this was the second time staying here. On this particular stay, there were several roaches present in the room. This was brought to the attention of the staff on duty, who apologized and told us that the pest control had sprayed the facility the day before. The room also had a damaged bathroom door that would not close properly. The first stay was excellent...this second stay was not as good as the first.

The pictures are deceiving! Needs a major renovation on the inside of the rooms. Big holes in the wall patched up and didn’t even try to make it unnoticeable. Sheets and comforter were stained and had burn holes in them. The mattress feels like you’re sleeping on a trampoline. The pipes in the bathroom were whining all night. Toilet was leaking water. And it wasn’t even a trashcan in the room at all smh. This place was beyond horrible!

The staff worked with us with early check out. The rooms did not feel cleaned. Since the property did not have a dual air system, even the non-smoking rooms had the smell of weed and cigarette. For our two day stay, the rooms weren't cleaned. We didn't get any new towels, and the beds weren't made up.

The room smelled like smoke so bad, that once I was back home, all my clothes and even my backpack stink like cigarettes(I do not smoke). I didn't have hot water for 2 days and I found 5 big hairballs in my bed. The pros were that there was a pretty decent size fridge and 2 electeic burners to cook. The staff was also nice

The cleanliness was an issue. I wouldn't want to see bugs in my living space. I don't want to enter a room and see dead bugs or several living ones crawling around. Then to not receive a refund ASAP is beyond me. So, no I won't recommend this place to anyone. I was in Greenwood to take my daughter to visit Lander University.

I should have taken pictures. The bed spread had holes in it. The toilet paper roll holder came out of the wall. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. The Air conditioner sounded like a jet engine when going on and off. There was mildew or black mold all along the bottom of the shower curtain. There was a hole just behind the bathroom door that was stuffed with toilet paper as a filler. The room key stopped working twice making me have to go to the front desk. A 3 inch millipede was crawling across the floor causing the wife to panic. It probably came from the toilet paper holder that was half hanging out of the wall. Truly a hotel that I will never stay at again. No maintenance. Oh, as a last thing, one of the towels was so old it was almost transparent. I wanted a place close to my daughter’s place, 30 minutes, but never again at that place!

The property was convenient and the staff was really nice but the mattress did not feel like a mattress at all but was so hard it was like a box spring. The beds were so small and uncomfortable that I almost left and went to another hotel but decided to bare it for 1 night.

I got the hot tub room. It was pretty cool, but I did have to clean the hot tub a little bit. The bed was not that comfortable, but that’s like withmost hotels. But all in all my stay was not bad I definitely enjoyed the hot tub. The room was very big. Had a living room. And a separate room for the bed and hot tub.

"We only needed to stay for one night, and the hotel served its purpose as a place to sleep and shower. However, the check-in experience with the Indian gentleman was not welcoming; we had to wait for him at the front desk. The rooms are outdated and gloomy, although they have removed the carpets, which is a plus. The bathrooms need attention—the tub was peeling, and the toilet seat looked unclean. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat. Our sleep was disturbed by loud gospel music from another guest, and the door didn't block out enough light or sound. Additionally, the lock on our door was loose, and the lamp was unstable. Overall, I would only consider staying here again if absolutely necessary. As they say, you get what you pay for."

Not much great to say here. So let’s just hit the “highlights” - AC wasn’t on in the room when I arrived. It was over 90° on this day. It was never able to catch up!! - cockroach in the room - rain came into the room from large hole in the door seal - rain water in the room is DANGERLOUSLY close to the outlet on the floor. - the bed was awful and had a “rusted spring” sound that was so loud every time I moved. - the hair dryer is ripped off the wall and not fixed by maintenance. - the entry way does not have additional locking bars - I supposed that is a light switch on the door frame. - lost power 3x due to the storm but I won’t fault them for this part of the stay I hated this entire stay let alone felt entirely unsafe with the water coming into my room next to that outlet on the ground!!!

I stay here when I'm in Greenwood, probably at least a couple of times a month. The facilities are a great value for the price paid. Room is clean, water is hot, internet and TV works well. I had a problem with the chair in my room. I mentioned it to the young man at the front desk. In less than five minutes, he brought me a new one! You can't ask for more than that!

Beds are smaller than average and hard. Nothing done great in the room,just average. Breakfast was inedible,milk was bad, waffle mix was disgusting. I've honestly stayed in cheaper hotel brands that had it together better. I will be in the area frequently because of the college but I assure you I won't be staying here again.

We had the room paid til ch3ck out time at 11 a.m. However, we left little after 7:30 a.m. for medical reasons. Couldn't eat before test. Hadn't turned in key card....was planning on coming back with some take out breakfast and eat there and relax before 11 a.m. check out. We had hour and 20 minutes to use. But when we got back, the door was opened and trash out and bedding removed but not newly made for next guests. We had to eat our take out fast food breakfast in the car, with it cold and raining. Still had the room's keycard, which turned in since no longer able to use the room number 127. Very disappointed at this situation. One good thing we took our belongings, except what left in refrigerator. I'm guessing it was thrown out. 3p.m. to about 7:40a.m. not worth the money for our privacy being violated. Dont go in some gusts room until checked out, unless you have a need. Just not acceptable. Not again 😑

The room was very clean. It looked like they were trying to update the property as well. My biggest problem was check in. I had to wait in an empty lobby for about 15 minutes. I kept saying "hello" down the hallway, but no one was there. No bell to ring or anything. Finally my husband called the hotel and someone came up front. Lots of restaurants just a few minutes away. We would probably stay again.

The hotel itself was nice. It was the man by the name of Shubh who I had the issue with. My hotel card kept messing up and I didn’t know why. After ten times of it messing up, Shubh finally yells at me “don’t use your phone for your card!” Then I go what? He says it again even more aggressive. Again I say, what? He says it again slightly madder. That’s when I go, sorry, I’m not understanding what you’re saying. That’s when he grabs the card and touches the phone with it and goes “don’t use your phone for your card!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got extremely aggressive about it. That’s when I figured out what he was saying and I was like,oh ok. He continued to yell at me after I told him that I didn’t know that( I don’t stay in hotels). He waited till it messed up 10 times before he told me what I was doing wrong.He treated me like I was stupid and I really don’t appreciate it. I was gonna stay for 3 weeks but cuz of that guy I left after 3. You guys lost a lot of money cuz of Shubh. This guy is terrible at communicating. You should put that guy that works on Sundays in a higher position cuz that guy is much, much, much, much, more pleasant to be around

My stay at this motel was awful. The manager is horribly rude, and very deceitful. He charged me more than I was quoted on Expedia. He also charged $50 for a nonexistent rollaway cot. I had to ask for a receipt. I didn’t notice until the end of our stay. When I needed to extend our stay (no other availability), he told me not to book it through Expedia and he would arrange it. Then, when the new registration was to start, he blatantly lied to me and said that he had told me it was not possible when I originally asked. I found out from several staff that he lied to me because he wanted the room for FEMA, as they pay $50 above the regular rate. He kicked me and my disabled mother out with one day’s notice. He should not receive FEMA contracts. I also found out that if you decline having your room cleaned, the poor staff (an elderly couple) don’t get paid. They practically begged me to clean the room, so I let them despite my mother being in the bed. It was all around a horrible experience. I have stayed in another Red Roof Inn in Pennsylvania and had a much better experience.

I stay here when I'm in the Greenwood area. I can get a room for double the price, but I'll never get better service than I get here. Staff is friendly, professional seem to care. Rooms are clean, everything works. If you should have any issues, they are on top of it, QUICKLY!

We were unable to stay because they couldn't find our reservation. When they did they insisted it was for one room and not 2. After the woman trying for 10 minutes to figure it out, we left and had to find another hotel. This created additional stress since we came to town for a funeral

My Pre-Paid Reservation seemed to be ALL mixed up. I Reserved a Bottom Floor Delux Double Smoking. They tried to put me in a Second Floor King!!! Thankfully I was able to get what I asked and paid for. The remainder of my trip was great. Convenient shopping and restaurants.

There's no bugs it's safe but it's definitely a 2 star motel they didn't clean the rooms we found a empty beer can and a t-shirt showing the room hadn't been clean for who knows how long. The staff was nice. The room it wasn't properly supplied with light bulbs it was short like three light bulbs and the beds one bed was nice the other one made a ton of noise because it creaked really bad every time you moved based on the bed frame being too cheap. Before after taxes nearly $100 a night in a small town I would have expected a better room. The breakfast was good though no protein. They had a waffle maker.

The property was properly cleaned, but I switched rooms 3x because of door lock/door gap issues that made it feel unsafe. The breakfast was only waffles, cold cereal, juice, and coffee out of a machine (not good), and the staff was luke warm, no smiles, no enthusiasm, minimal greetings.
