It’s not really the property’s fault, but there is very poor lighting on the street to turn into the driveway. That mixed with the very holey pathway on either side of the driveway made it unsafe to drive there. I also hated that our door key was deactivated prior to the checkout time. Luckily my husband stayed in our room to let me in after I ate breakfast downstairs, otherwise we’d have been locked out and unable to finish packing.

Pros: Housekeeping everyday, not too sketchy, and was affordable at the time of my stay. Cons: a few roaches, mini fridge didn’t work, terrible breakfast options, common area restroom near gym only has bar soap, and housekeeping kept throwing away my half drank water bottles.

Roaches had to buy bug killer and spray room. It smelled old and musty. Had to buy room deodorant and Febreze. The hotel had a sign that said do not take breakfast food to rooms. Hotel was already aware of bug problems. Ice machine only worked on 1st floor. All dryers in laundry room broken. I will never stay here again.

Ice machines don't work only on first floor, you have three floors of guest, no eggs at breakfast, you have crockpot of gravy and cold biscuits you ever had that anywhere, microwave is the answer if you need help

Refrigerator not turned on/ ready for use. Air not on, not AC or fan, so room was stuffy on arrival. No signal for TV. Front desk staff promised to come to the room and fix, but never showed. Card reader to get inside from parking worked variably. Took up to 8 taps to get it to read. Anyone, particularly a female, needs to consistently access the interior of the building with one tap. Folks smoking pot in vehicle in parking lot. Elevator dirty. Overall disappointed with stay.

This hotel reeks of mold. I have stayed at LaQuinta's before and never had this issue. The minute we walked in it smelled, but when we got to our room the smell of mold was awful. We both left sick. I will be reporting to the BBB and also health department.

Bed bugs, mold, roaches, indoor pool too cold to swim in. Very disappointed. I have pics to prove. My kids and husband have bed bugs bites all over them. Took daughter to urgent care because of allergic reaction to the bed bugs bites

Good place to stay if you’re passing through town. Breakfast was decent. Plenty of hot choices. The room kind of smells like mildew if the air isn’t on. Room and bathroom were very clean.

This property is in need of a serious makeover. The carpets are filthy and stained, the rooms smell like mildew, the chair in the room was greasy and dirty. I paid way too much to sleep in such a nasty room. Never again.

It was not clean. The windows were dingy and some of the plaster had peeled off the bathroom wall. In my opinion, the worst thing that happened to LaQuinta is being swallowed up by Wyndam. I had a problem with one of their locations before and actually packed up, left, and got a refund. They're awful!

Decent value for a bed to spend the night in. Was about $30 to $50 less than Hilton and Holiday Inn options within a mile or two. Was clean enough. If you have a room on the side where the John Deere dealer is, pull those shades tight cause they light that parking lot like a stadium.

Our room was in need of many repairs. The TV did not work at all. The front desk lady was super helpful but unable to get the TV working. The lighting in the room was poor and dim. We would not stay here again unless the property was improved.

our TV did not work and we couldn't get on the internet. When we called to the desk they could not help us our to give further instructions. Very frustrating. Won't book this hotel again. it was ok cleanliness wise and bed was comfortable but wanted to relax with a TV show or two but had to use my own hotspot to get internet.

Applied for early check in for 1:00pm room wasn’t ready when I arrived, I was told when I got there that room is now ready but we didn’t have towels in our room but they would send them as soon as they were available, I asked for towels twice and still never received them. Finally I went to front desk about 7:30pm and was told they didn’t have any available but she would check, she came back with 1 face towel and one towel that had been torn to the size of a face towel bedding what damp like they took out of dryer too soon

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to check me in. There were 3 men sitting at the computer kiosk and yelled for the lady to come help me. When she approached me, she was wearing house shoes. She said she was in the back making dinner for her family. Our room smelled old and musty. The shower handle was loose from the wall and had hardly any water pressure. The bathroom sink faucet was also loose. We went to breakfast the next morning around 8 there were no eggs or napkins. I saw the lady in the back room standing by the microwave on her phone. I asked her if there were any napkins and she said there were none. A guest went to his room and brought down paper towels to share. I decided that I was not going to stay another night there. I went to the front desk to check out. I asked to speak to the manager. This was a different lady than last night. She said she was the manager. I complained about the service and the condition of the room. I felt as if I was in a rent by the hour motel. I told her I was canceling my last night, and she said I would have contact Travelocity. I discussed this with them, and they did try to call the hotel several times and there was no answer. The manager stated she never heard the phone ring. I was so irritated with this whole thing I told the manager that I would leave a review. I'm a manager at an RV Resort in Oklahoma with a 10/10/10+ Good Sam rating so I know how the guest should be treated! This was unacceptable.

The front desk attendant wasn't around, I was waiting 15 minutes for her to arrive. She said that she was doing housekeeping duties. As a former Wyndham employee with Dolce International, this is unacceptable. The FDM needs not to be the only employee working, especially at night

Our room had a very strong odor of a Pine-Sol like cleaner that I assume was to cover up the moldy, musty smell coming from the a/c unit. The floor was sticky with the cleaner that was used to mop. Access was difficult due to the ongoing highway construction. We would have changed hotels but everything else in the afrea was totally booked up.

Usually we love staying at LaQuinta every place we travel. This was not the case. The property was easy to find. It was on the main road which had easy access to the town. The bathroom was awful with mold from the ceiling to the tub walls. The toilet seat was completely broken, sliding, and slammed down. The towels were thin and worn. I would recommend checking your room BEFORE taking your belongings to the room. When we reported it to the front desk they said yeah we know.

Location was good. Lobby was nice. Room was nice until I took a shower. The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall so the curtain would not stay closed. Water covered the tile floor and the little bath mat was soaked, of course. They had started a patch where the water leaked out, so they knew it was a problem. Room 106 should Not be occupied again until repairs are completed. When I pulled up the shower knob, the faucet came out of the wall! I spoke to the desk clerk at checkout about all the problems. It is a safety hazard! I also told her I took pictures and will submit them.

All was good, but we didn't have a comforter on our bed first 2 nights. It was only a sheet and THIN cover. We froze. Also, something besides biscuits and gravy everyday would be nice.

I have stayed at La Quinta properties before but this is the worst experience I have ever had in ANY HOTEL. The property being about 12-15 yrs old, fixtures in shower(spout) coming off tub, bugs in bathroom, face towels paper thin, TV with broken remote & told it would require 2 remotes., handle on entry door needed to be "lifted up on key to work after 2 trips back to front desk. so-called breakfast a joke, no fruit, coffee cups without lids when all competitors offer better. I feel staff was doing the best they could under condition of the facility...never again at this location and I travel to Marshall quite often.

I have stayed in many La Quinta around the country; this one was by far the most disappointing. Usually, in a room there is a desk chair and also a comfortable chair next to the bed so one can sit to watch TV. This room only had a desk chair. I do not like to sit on the bed to watch TV. Also, the breakfast was very disappointing. First, the coffee cups were tiny foam cups! No regular 6-ounce cups. Then the coffee was not good. One was extremely watery and the other was full of grinds. There was no half and half. Just milk. No yogurt, no fresh fruit, no hard-boiled eggs. The fridge was empty. I have never seen such a display, or lack of it for breakfast. I will never stay there again.

This is an average hotel so don’t expect too much. It was god for 1 night only. We had to change rooms because our bathroom, room 102, was gross. The bathroom appeared to have mold on the shower floor and I was NOT stepping foot in that. Also there was a wet towel hanging over the bathroom door. Whose towel was this??? We were moved to room 204 and it was much better. The breakfast was bland with expired milk and thin waffle mix. I saw several people throwing away their waffles. My sister ended up going into the staff kitchen area to find milk that wasn’t expired for us to drink and she threw away the expired milk herself. I will say the staff was very nice and accommodating. I was given a $10 discount for having to change rooms.

Just like most. The room was cleaned below average. My dog spent about 1hr smelling everything because I'm guessing there was a dog there previously and didn't get cleaned up after. The breakfast was ok. They had your typical sausage and eggs. But the eggs were repurposed boiled eggs witch were dry and rather disgusting. Other than that check in was amazing. Fast and friendly staff. Pretty well average.
