荷物預かりが有料のコインロッカーのため、チェックイン前に荷物預けたら結構高くつきました。エレベータがない場所なので、荷物を運ぶのにも結構エネルギーを使いました。場所はダム広場から近いのでとても便利です。

What a great place. Very friendly staff and helpful and informative. The hostel showers, rooms etc were clean and secure. Also great luggage storage lockers. Breakfast was basic but plentiful to set us up for the day. It's served in the Belushi Bar on the ground floor. Location of the hostel is perfect too. I would definitely recommend and I will return. Keep up the good work to everyone who makes this place a success and a great stay

Konumu çok güzel, otel altındaki barı çok sevdik ve otel konaklamasına indirim olması çok iyiydi. Amsterdam standartlarına göre f/p güzel bir otel, oda boyutu yeterliydi. Malesef ilk gün nevresimin pis olduğunu gördük ertesi sabah söylediğimizde değiştirdiler onun dışında sorun yaşamadık. Merkezde konaklamak isteyenler için çok ideal bir yer memnun ayrıldık. Checkout sonrası valiz kıymak için dolaplar var günlüğü yaklaşık 8 euroydu.

Let's get this out of the way, fellow guests/roommates can make or break your hostel stay, which, is usually beyond your control when traveling solo. This review will not take that into account. The hostel bed was comfortable, nice and not too firm. Pillow was supportive and the linen/blanket was clean. Security was also very good. On-site self service laundry was also very convenient. Very, very friendly and welcoming staff at the reception. Made you feel welcome at the hostel. Housekeeping is excellent and a towel is provided daily free of charge. Sheets and towels are changed daily!!! A few things to consider. Location is in a busy part of downtown and street noise into the night is unavoidable, comes with the territory. Bathroom in our ensuite had a few quirks, you'll take a shower in a bathtub and water will get to the bathroom floor. Bathroom light did not have an on/off switch, a bit odd. Overall a good experience during the 6 night stay at the hostel. Recommend to book here! 👍👍👍

La ubicación del hostal es sin duda lo mejor. Las instalaciones son adecuadas. Está aislada de ruidos del bar que tiene en la planta baja donde además se hacen conciertos en directo. Muy divertida la experiencia y los descuentos para los huéspedes son un plus. Quizás lo que menos me convenció fue el colchón, pero igualmente pude dormir bien. Se agradece que las habitaciones no alberguen más de 8 personas. Volvería a alojarme ahí.

I must admit, I was a little apprehensive of booking this place, but to my surprise it’s a hidden gem !! Super clean, yes it doesn’t have bells and whistles on it but functionality is the key. Toilets, showers all commune style but kept spotlessly clean at all times. The bar downstairs is superb where you can get beers and food from, and with its own outside smoking are caters for all needs. I was travelling solo but found the bed more than adequate in a 4 dorm and the privacy curtain made it feel very homely. Within the bed area you have a lamp and a charge point for the phone and under the bed there is a lockable storage unit for your own personal equipment to be securely stored away when your asleep / out. Staff are superb aswell and all so very friendly.

I would have given at least one other star had someone came into my room to clean it AT LEAST ONCE during my entire stay. I even extended my stay by one night and I specifically asked the front desk staff to please make sure my room would get cleaned. They instructed me to hang the “clean my room” sign by the door, which I did for two consecutive days, and nothing. There are also weird smells in the room. I can see they probably don’t even sanitize these rooms thoroughly after each guest. I had a private room. Location is excellent. Just walking distance from the red light district.

Das Personal beim Check-in war sehr freundlich. Das Hostel war in einem äusserst schlechtem Zustand. Im Bad und Zimmer war Schimmel, der Boden dreckig, der Lack des Gestells abgeblättert und das schlimmster war der eckelhafte Gestank im Zimmer. Die Fenster waren undicht. Weiter konnten wir fast nicht schlafen, das die Gäster im Hotel die ganze Nacht immer wieder im Gang umherrannten, herumschrien. Da wir ein Fenster zum Innenhof hatten hörten wir zudem die Gäste und Musik der Bar, die sich im Hostel befindet. Nein danke, nie wieder.

The staff were nice and the bar downstairs was pretty cool. The location is very central. The bed and room were fine but the walls were thin. Everytime someone went into a room along the corridor, the door would slam and wake you up. Wouldnt recommend if you are a light sleeper.

Et veldig fint og koselig hostel. De ansatte er superflinke! Men en stor og sosial uteservering var det lett å komme i prat med folk. Maten her er også veldig god, og man får 25 % avslag som gjest. Selv booket jeg er privat dobbeltrom i 7. etasje. Stort, fint bad og behagelig seng. Litt støy med vinduet åpent, men selv om man bor midt i bykjernen så sov jeg veldig godt.
Et veldig fint og koselig hostel. De ansatte er superflinke! Men en stor og sosial uteservering var det lett å komme i prat med folk. Maten her er også veldig god, og man får 25 % avslag som gjest. Stayed here 5 nights. I booked a single room with private bathroom. Room was small but it was good value what i paid. Only old church is next to the hotel and each 15 minutes bell was ringing as if inside the room. Apart from that it was a pleasing stay.

Ein typisches St Christopher's. Unten ein Pub, die Zimmer dann darüber bzw in meinem Fall im Nebenhaus. Hatte im 6 Bett Zimmer gebucht. Die ausreichend große und moderne Dusche war mit im Zimmer, das WC über den zimmereigenen Vorraum zu erreichen. Vorhänge vor den Betten für das kleine Extra Privatsphäre. Matratze bequem. Zimmerreinigung mit Betten richten und frischem Handtuch täglich. Und vom Balkon des Zimmers aus ein fabelhafter Blick auf die Oude Kerk. Einzig der Abfluss im Bad war etwas smelly, da kann man nacharbeiten. Der Pub hat eine ausgesprochen große Auswahl, besonders im Shot Bereich. Das Personal ist bis auf sehr wenige Ausnahmen super freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Es war eine angenehme Woche, ich hab super geschlafen. Würde ich definitiv wieder buchen.

Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. However, in the Superior room, it was hard to sleep because despite a quiet policy after 10 pm, there was noise and movement coming from above the bunker. The top bed trunk shifted and woke me up four times during the night. I only stayed one night for testing but after this situation, I chose not to extend my stay. On the plus side, the bathroom and balcony were nice. Both the top and bottom bunks had nice private curtains hanging from them, privacy when needed.

I stayed at St Christopher’s and overall had a good experience in many ways. The location is fantastic — close to everything and super convenient for exploring the city. The staff were also exceptionally welcoming and kind, which made a big difference and gave the place a friendly atmosphere. The major downside, though, is the noise. The bass from the bars downstairs is very strong, and there were people yelling and even fighting outside until 2–3 am most nights. If you’re a heavy sleeper or planning to be out late yourself, this might not bother you, but if you need rest, it can be a serious issue. In short: great location, amazing staff, but be prepared for a loud night.

Está bien, accesible 10 minutos caminando de la central, hay un bar en la plantas baja con descuentos para huéspedes. Mi único inconveniente es que recepción muy lento y desorganizado tanto para check in y ni hablar del check out, tuve que dejar una nota de que ya me iba. La privacidad no existe en la habitación, me quedé en el mismo pero en Berlín y las literas tenían cortinas, aquí no. Entonces si llega alguien 3am a prender la luz olvídate de pasar buena noche. Elevador bien, pero le falta mantenimiento. Y un poco sucio todo el lugar. Pero por cercanía a lo demás está bien. Un poco elevado el precio para lo que es y ofrece

Der Nachwächter war unglaublich unfreundlich. Das Check-In war sehr kompliziert. Mein Freund konnte mich nicht einchecken. Nur sich. ich konnte dann in der Nacht nicht ins Hotel, da ich keinen Hotel-Ausweis hatte. Dieser bekommt man nur gegen vorweisen des Passes. Mein Pass war aber im Zimmer. Aber ins Zimmer durfte ich nicht, weil ich keinen Hotel-Ausweis hatte.... also musste mein Freund kommen, welcher dann meinen Pass holte um mir einen Hotel-Ausweis zu besorgen. Halleluja. Und dass um 02.00 Morgens. Das Hostel ist super gelegen und praktisch eingerichtet, wenn auch etwas ins Alter gekommen.

Great location and there’s a really big safe/lock box for each person under the bed - bring your own lock! Everything was super clean too. My only problem was how long the check in process took since there were only two people at the front desk and they worked very slowly

The hostel is located in the heart of Amsterdam. Its about a 1min walk from the red right district. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants close to the hostel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Its probably the best hostel in Amsterdam. I have stayed in plenty of different ones that dont match up to this one.

St Christopher's at the Winston is in a fantastic location, easily accessible from central station. Plenty of great bars and places to eat around the location. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Room was clean and staff were friendly.

Hotel is in the heart of amsterdam. Very clean. Staff are on hand 24/7 and really friendly. Rooms are exactly what you pay for. Beds are a little small for a man like me but i knew what id paid for as this is my 3rd stay here. Overall 9/10. Only gripe is they could do with a drinks vending machine for late at night. But thats me being lazy as there is a mini mart a 2 minute walk from the hotel or you can buy at the bar. Food and drinks very reasonably price. 10/10

What a great place. Very friendly staff and helpful and informative. The hostel showers, rooms etc were clean and secure. Also great luggage storage lockers. Breakfast was basic but plentiful to set us up for the day. It's served in the Belushi Bar on the ground floor. Location of the hostel is perfect too. I would definitely recommend and I will return. Keep up the good work to everyone who makes this place a success and a great stay

Kort opphold, bare ei natt, men alt var helt supert. Tok litt tid med innsjekk. Bra band som spilte om kvelden. Gode senger og varmt bad. Eneste minus: betalte for frokost, men når vi kom fram viste det seg at frokosten ikke begynte før kl. 8, så vi rakk ikke å spise noe, fordi vi skulle rekke et fly videre. Men god stemning og fine rom!

I must admit, I was a little apprehensive of booking this place, but to my surprise it’s a hidden gem !! Super clean, yes it doesn’t have bells and whistles on it but functionality is the key. Toilets, showers all commune style but kept spotlessly clean at all times. The bar downstairs is superb where you can get beers and food from, and with its own outside smoking are caters for all needs. I was travelling solo but found the bed more than adequate in a 4 dorm and the privacy curtain made it feel very homely. Within the bed area you have a lamp and a charge point for the phone and under the bed there is a lockable storage unit for your own personal equipment to be securely stored away when your asleep / out. Staff are superb aswell and all so very friendly.
