I enjoyed this hostel it was clean and very close to the park and town, nice patio, free coffee, nice big kitchen and friendly staff. It was mellow and comfy bed. Only thing for me is I like bigger lockers but it did fit my backpack. Would stay again. Thanks!

I thought this hostel was a great option to stay in a pretty expensive city. I booked a private room with a washroom and it was a good price for what it was. Parking is an extra $10 a day which seemed very reasonable. Overall, perfect location and decent place!

The location was perfect as it was walking distance to a very nice area of Kelowna. Surprised to find out that we had to pay extra to park our car in their parking lot! The breakfast was included (make your own pancakes), but there were no other options.

I liked the location and overall convenience of being downtown. I also found the cleanliness of my room to be acceptable and the kitchen was well-organized. I gave this a 3 because I found the staff to be very cold towards me. I understand that I made a huge oversight with my ID, and that it's not fair for people that have proven they're from outside of Kelowna, but I didn't feel like I was being accommodated through the process. I felt like I was being condemned for making a mistake, and I don't think that's an impression you want to give to prospective customers. I've learned my lesson about ensuring my ID is up-to-date, and that there's value in paying more for basic human decency.

Washrooms were gross, not clean, rundown, and no tp even after telling front desk. He said they filled it but we're at max capacity. Perhaps they should check it more frequently if at max capacity. Front desk guy was friendly and nice.

My stay at the HI was generally good, as it was just for one night. The bunk bed wasn’t very comfortable because the mattress seemed were old, and the room was quite small. The best part was the TV inside the private room, which had many channels options. The women’s washrooms were really clean, and the receptionist were friendly and helpful in giving me directions to where I wanted to go.

Close to the park and beach. Room completely different from the pictures in teb website for 1 queen bed. Expect for a very basic room with just bed, small washroom and shower. Walls has lots of stains.

And, extra kudos to the people who turned in my forgotten electronic equipment, and to the staff who will hold it for me until I can return to retrieve it! Negative: very close to main noisy highway coming in from the south/west.

This hostel is great for its proximity to downtown. Everyone there (staff and other guests) were really friendly. The room and private bathroom were fairly clean, but there was some dust build-up in the corners, a little bit of grime, etc. If you are used to backpacking, budget international travel, etc. you'll feel right at home. One of the bedside lamps in my room didn't work, but there was a second lamp and the overhead light, so it wasn't a big deal. The blackout curtains are a nice touch, and the quiet hours are strictly followed. One issue I had was with the front door code. It changes each night, and is communicated through signs inside the building. When I left at 8AM some mornings it had not been updated yet. At the desk I was told the code would stay the same as the previous night, but when I came back at night, I found the code I had didn't work, and had in fact been changed. Thankfully, another guest opened the door for me, so I could avoid the charge for ringing the doorbell.

The staff at the counter were excellent, very attentive and professional. The place was very clean and pleasant, bathrooms and kitchen areas included. What was bad for me, was the immediate proximity to the noisy Highway, (It's 'just there' right to the entrance, and the loud, constant noise of the vehicles 24/7 is too much for human comfort. Everything else was OK.

Highly unprofessional stuff they booked me in and then they said they would accept my ID and did not when I was there left me homeless and cold on the street thank God a friend was able to get me into a hotel or I would have been on the street after booking through Expedia to them I arrived and nothing they said was right would never ever recommend them

Well not the greatest experience. I was in Kelowna being there for the passing of my father. The next day, I'm in a PRIVte room the manager and worket just walked in my private room demanding to Paint the bathroom. Just finished showeri G so they barged when I was changing. I had a private room with bathroom, totally invading my privacy. Not sure what makes theabzge think they can't paint a room with guests in it . Terrible experience

Excellent en location for a night on a budget. Close to a park and beach and Bernard Street where a lot of action is happening. A/C in the dorm which is not a common thing in hostels.much appreciated!

+ ich hatte Glück und hatte das Damen Zimmer für nich alleine + aufgrund der niedrigen Belegung durfte ich gratis parkieren - es ist leider schon sehr schmudelig - das Zimmer war Eiskalt (01.01.25). Ich hab in Thermo Unterwäsche und Pyjama geschlafen. - Selbst um 7:30Uhr gab es noch kein Frühstück.
