Motel Tyrol

There was no air conditioning. This was "solved" with a box fan in front of the screen to the sliding patio door-- which led to a nice balcony that was accessible by all the upstairs rooms. It didn't feel safe. Also, it meant that the road noise was present at odd times. But the bed was comfortable and we loved breakfast.

Terrible experience. No A/C, and bed sheets are dirty.

This place wasn’t clean, and I’m sorry I have to write this as the receptionist seemed very sweet and informative. The longer you looked, the worse it got. Every edge of the rooms were untouched for what looked like ages. We looked behind the curtains in our room and space between the windows and the mosquito net was full of dust and spider webs. The bathroom seemed on but when you looked closer there were yellow marks on the heat register. There was a small red stain in the bed sheets. The place has potential but needs a lot of TLC. No complaints with the staff, we only spent one night and appreciated the complimentary breakfast at screamers. It was delicious. Unfortunately we could not check out the pool so we can’t speak to that. The parking lot is very small so it’s interesting to navigate.

This is a unique place with tons of potential. Our room where the the bed is was very clean. The bathroom gets very low points as the tub and tub surround has old caluking that is cracked and not clean. The showerhead shoots out like a hose with no other option. The window in the bathtub area is very dirty and has some black mould. Hair that is not ours on the floor as well. The counter was clean however a three foot chunk of the front edge was broken off. The large shared front patio has a lot of potenital however the floor was filthy. A daily sweep would be great and not take a lot of time. As for the pool area, well, it is sadly overgrown with weeds, the pool water is not clear and it is full of bugs and fluff that you have to maintain yourself and maybe a postive is that you can really smell the chlorine and shock. There are 3 separate elevated areas each with a BBQ and table and chairs - great for a quiet private-ish dinner. However, again, not inviting at all with overgrown weeds and landscaping. There is another area with 2 BBQ's and a sink as well as an area for kids games. Its really all a great idea but the lack of maintenance and clenliness warrants a rating of 1. This is a diamond in the ruff - if you are looking for an investment opportunity, this is it!

Bool and hot tub and fire pits were amazing they have the best customer service. The owners are so nice and friendly and helpful best mini vacation ever!
