My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's weekend (3days) this Feb 2025 and we loved our stay! It was the perfect, central location! I LOVED the Starbucks next door, and the AMAZING Casa Valadez! The staff was fabulous, service top notch, and loved the welcome drink of wine or mimosas. Front desk was responsive (via WhatsApp) even days/weeks before arrival and suggested some tours and activities. They reserved the callejonadas evening tour, as well as arranged our ride from hotel to airport. The rooms are VERY pricey compared to the rest of the area, but we went with this hotel because in pictures, the rooms looked very modern and cloean and property seemed upscale, with it's decor and furnishings. Another reason why we reserved this hotel is because of its rooftop bar, which their pictures online just boasted about! Sad to say, we did not experience the bar mentioned as it was under construction (I was a bit disappointed about this) and there was no mention that the bar cannot be accessed anywhere. The price per night averaged to about $250 with all taxes and fees included. For this price, the hotel could have included complimentary breakfast or complimentary "something." Overall, it was a good stay because of the unique rooms and charming spot... Will I stay here again if I were to return with our daughters, probably not. I did not enjoy the very tiny bathroom sink and this would only be recommended, imho, for singles or couples staying for a short time in Guanajuato.

The hotel service was amazing. The staff went out of their way for anything we needed. The room we stayed at (Pilar) was awesome, super clean and fantastic bed. It also had an entry living room and balcony. And the bar on the terrace made great drinks to wrap up our days. Music there was a bit loud though.

La localización es inmejorable: a unos pasos del Teatro Juárez y en el centro de toda la actividad. El desayuno generoso y sabroso. Aunque no tiene estacionamiento propio, el personal te indica un punto de encuentro cercano donde recogerán y te entregarán tu vehículo. We really enjoyed our stay at 1850 Hotel Boutique. Everything we needed was walking distance and the staff were very friendly. Room was a little smaller than expected but we spent most of the time exploring the city so it didn’t really matter. Housekeeping came in every day to clean which was nice. Guanajuato is a beautiful place to visit and this hotel made the experience more worth it

If step from shower to vanity and step from vanity to toilet eliminated and wider vanity area review would be higher recommended. Better lighting also. Too expensive for these type of small spaces

We had a pleasant stay at 1850 hotel overall. It is located right at the center of the city and walking distance to most of attractive. One thing I would like to leave it for others to judge is about transportation to BJX. At the front desk, I asked IF I can call Uber to BJX airport. I was told by two young female clerks THAT THETE ARE ONLY 8 Ubers in the city and very difficult to get it. On the other hand, they can help call Texi for $1200-1400 peso each way. The result is I got a Uber next morning in 10 min for $370 peso and I was informed there are plenty of Ubers in the city to call! Hope other travelers can make informed decision with help of the hotel front desk clerks regarding transportation there

The hotel is unique, very nice rooms, great amenities, and the staff is fantastic… the only downside is how noise ‘El Jardin’ (The little plaza) in front of the hotel has turn into an open cantina. We hope the local authorities take a stand and keep this gem as it used to be, family oriented, still fun to be around, but with some ground rules.

Location! Its the best place with elegance and class. I would definitely stay again and would come for Halloween and dia de los muertos. Wonderful customer service from every staff member. From celeste at the front desk to angel who picked us up and cristian who often brought us water to our room. Not forgetting Noe who took us to san miguel de allende. Did i mention breakfast was delicious? What are you waiting for?
