Lovely looking hotel with ample parking. The food was excellent if a little expensive. We looked for a traditional type pub so we could have a meal then drink, the issue here is there is no actual sitting area for drinkers. It caters only for diners and if your table is required you need to move on. On this occasion we coukd stay, but it didn't have the cosy feel we were looking for. The room was generally okay, but the bed uncomfortable.

A great place to stay. Very friendly and helful staff. Easy parking just on the oither side of the road, lovley building and tastefully decorated comfortable rooms. Didn't dine in for dinner as we were in a rush but the dining area looked fantastic and the menu looked great. Would highly recommend a stay here.

A lovely village pub, nice and cosy rooms, we stayed at the back of the pub and room was lovely and quiet. Nice and warm. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal, food was delicious and service was superb! We will definitely be retuning when we get our next child free evening.

A lovely property with a great pub. The food was excellent and thankfully the weather was sunny and warm. What a wonderful evening to eat outside in their Olive Garden. The owners and the staff were all so helpful in guiding us to a sweet evening stroll. We knew they had great reviews and they are well deserved. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and cool. Thank you!

I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food.

It is good value. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. It is clean. Snowy white bedding and big fluffy towels but although offered it was accepted that I preferred not to have unnecessary changes of towels and bedding. It’s great to have a good restaurant on site that also offers several vegetarian options. There is a lovely little garden and good parking. Be prepared to accept that there will be traffic noise as it’s positioned on a junction.

I had a superior room and loved having a espresso machine for my morning brew. Food in general was fab from my burger 6oz (think chef forgot the scales, it was massive) to my mexican chicken & Avocado on 2nd night, portions great size, service i couldn't fault, all team, smiley, happy peeps.

The room is small but fine for one night and price. The only thing was the headboard in room 2 was flaking off. Such an easy fix but very visible when you first walk in - an impression that makes you think what else is wrong here. Also a couple of cleaning products left in room. Again, not a big deal, but careless. Would recommend to stay for a night or two but fix the obvious.

We stayed one night, our room was upgraded at no charge which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant with friends The food was fabulous, the staff very attentive and friendly. An excellent stay, we will return and absolutely recommend.

The beds were very comfy and the room was spotless Food was pricey but worth every penny very delicious, only problem I would say is that I felt a bit unsafe in the shower no hand rails to hold on to and no non slip mat in the shower plus no bath handles to get out of shower and no mat on the floor when you step out of the shower

Three negatives. The bathroom had a distinct drain/sewer smell which requires immediate attention. Only one set of towels provided for two guests. Our room (and several others) were located very close to a busy very noisy intersection with the result that from 6am sleep was impossible. This was extremely disappointing as the room rate (no breakfast included) was not inconsiderable.

All was good apart from the bed being 2 feet to short and extremely soft which is no good for people with minor back issues. Very noisy road with no deflection of sound till after works traffics gone , I’d use again but would want a room that does not back onto the road

Our stay was beyond amazing. The room was so homely and cosy, we loved it. We had an evening meal and a breakfast, the food was incredible. All was good apart from the bed being 2 feet to short and extremely soft which is no good for people with minor back issues. Very noisy road with no deflection of sound till after works traffics gone , I’d use again but would want a room that does not back onto the road

A lovely village pub, nice and cosy rooms, we stayed at the back of the pub and room was lovely and quiet. Nice and warm. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal, food was delicious and service was superb! We will definitely be retuning when we get our next child free evening.

The noise from the road was constant all night. Very broken sleep. Room was small but fine, shower a bit weak. For the price it was fine but I would not stay again due to the noise from the road.

My only issue was bedroom size and noise from garden on my windows but I didn’t stay long enough to rate or notice anything bad. Location is very good and easy to access. Didn’t have time to try the meals but smelled delicious and atmosphere seemed very inviting 🙏

It is good value. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. It is clean. Snowy white bedding and big fluffy towels but although offered it was accepted that I preferred not to have unnecessary changes of towels and bedding. It’s great to have a good restaurant on site that also offers several vegetarian options. There is a lovely little garden and good parking. Be prepared to accept that there will be traffic noise as it’s positioned on a junction.

Three negatives. The bathroom had a distinct drain/sewer smell which requires immediate attention. Only one set of towels provided for two guests. Our room (and several others) were located very close to a busy very noisy intersection with the result that from 6am sleep was impossible. This was extremely disappointing as the room rate (no breakfast included) was not inconsiderable.

Lovely looking hotel with ample parking. The food was excellent if a little expensive. We looked for a traditional type pub so we could have a meal then drink, the issue here is there is no actual sitting area for drinkers. It caters only for diners and if your table is required you need to move on. On this occasion we coukd stay, but it didn't have the cosy feel we were looking for. The room was generally okay, but the bed uncomfortable.

We stayed one night, our room was upgraded at no charge which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant with friends The food was fabulous, the staff very attentive and friendly. An excellent stay, we will return and absolutely recommend.

Our stay was beyond amazing. The room was so homely and cosy, we loved it. We had an evening meal and a breakfast, the food was incredible. The staff at dinner and breakfast were so kind and welcoming, professional, completely faultless. The staff made the stay that much more special, so thank you. We cant wait to stay again.

A lovely property with a great pub. The food was excellent and thankfully the weather was sunny and warm. What a wonderful evening to eat outside in their Olive Garden. The owners and the staff were all so helpful in guiding us to a sweet evening stroll. We knew they had great reviews and they are well deserved. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and cool. Thank you!

Just a one night stop on business so no time to investigate in detail but very friendly and helpful staff and a very nice room. Not a big room but nicely furnished and equipped with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and a couple of pods, tv, iron and board, etc. comfortable bed. Overall a nice comfortable night’s stay.
