Broke the journey to Cornwall staying here…very pleased with quality of food and excellent breakfast service. Would really recommend booking for food as every table in the evening reserved which is a great sign of the of the high standard of cooking. Room very good, clean and overall a great stop off

Plenty of real ale and craft ales, ( at least 7) even a selection of ciders. comfortable rooms and a fantastic specils board Book early or miss out oryou could pay more than 25% more if only booking 1 or 2 days before. Very co.frtable and friendly place

We had an overnight stay with 2 kids as we were moving from Drayton Manor to Minehead and needed one night accommodation in between. The family room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the kids play area outside was great too.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was excellent, really clean, the shower was great. The pub next door had the best real ale I've had in years, and the food was excellent.

The hotel was good, beer was nice but, make sure you read the small print and book a table. I booked the room only a couple of hours prior to arrival so didn’t see the email advising you book a table however, nothing was mentioned on checkin. Couple of pints in I'm refused a menu on the basis they are full, I had a table but they simply wouldn’t serve me. I was advised I could order takeaway but only after 8pm! It was a good place just be aware of the eating restrictions and the point blank refusal to just cook one more meal for a hotel guest.

Lovely staff, breakfast and room. It is advisable to book a table for dinner as soon as possible, it is a very busy pub, and even if you are staying there, there is no guarantee you will get a table. The reception on the TV, was not very good, it kept freezing and pixelating. Very comfortable bed and the room had air conditioning.

A lovely Inn for the passing traveller. Great food & good beer served by friendly staff! Rooms were perfect, clean and my room had AC. Breakfast meal again was good quality and staff understand what good looks like. I will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Crossways Inn. The staff were very welcoming & helpul. The room was light & bright & spotlessly clean. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfasts were great served by very warm friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Dinner was excellent. Would recommend a stay. Many thanks.

Brilliant B&B. Super friendly host and staff. Really clean and very cosy. Lovely clean rooms. Stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was very nice and fresh. Didn’t have dinner but the menu looked good. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed several times at crossways and had no problems. We love it there. Great place. Great food. Unfortunately this time the room was very cold. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. No hot water. Sink wouldn't empty. Asked for hot water and waited 30 mins and no reply. Went back and told abruptly that we were changing rooms. Waited another hour and decided to go to bed. Abruptly woken by someone knocking on the door later. Gave up and stayed where we were as nearly 11p.m. very disappointed this time .

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious. With the pub adjoining, which was always busy, we thought it might be noisy but it was very quite. Food in pub very good and a great selection of real ales!

The staff were very welcoming and polite. The property itself was beautiful and the rooms very nice. I especialy loved the mixer tap on the family bathroom for the little one, saved mummys back. The breakfast was marvelous and again the staff amazing. The only few points i could pick out were that their was no where to hang your towel out of the shower, no hook on the bathroom door or such. I think the only real issue we had was that when we arrived we were told an event was on and music would be untill midnight. Wasnt an issue realy i just wished we were informed it was a live band right below our room (band was great by the way) we assumed it was a dj etc which we could faintly here beforehand. It wasjust a bit more tricky to settle the little one for the night. I think if we could have been informed this before our stay via email or call we could have changed our dates or rooms. Overall we enjoyed and would certainly come again.

Stayed here before. Really rate the hotel and the pub. Fantastic value for money and a much more comfortable room than big hotel groups nearby. Food in the pub is great, some of the best pub grub you can buy along with really nice breakfast included in the stay. Will definitely return when working in the area.

Everything about our stay was fabulous and Crossways Inn is now on our radar when we want to spend extra time on our holiday in Cornwall. The food deserves a mention, delicous, locally sourced produce perfectly cooked - both dinner and breakfast. The room, bed, shower, air con, decent size coffee cups all made our stay extremely comfortable. This was the best stopover experience we have had - thoroughly recommend!

Great staff this was my third stay lovely breakfast but does not start till 7-30 Parking is free and plenty of spices room is excellent warm and clean The home-cooked food in the restaurant is also very good. I will definitely stay again

The hotel was good, beer was nice but, make sure you read the small print and book a table. I booked the room only a couple of hours prior to arrival so didn’t see the email advising you book a table however, nothing was mentioned on checkin. Couple of pints in I'm refused a menu on the basis they are full, I had a table but they simply wouldn’t serve me. I was advised I could order takeaway but only after 8pm! It was a good place just be aware of the eating restrictions and the point blank refusal to just cook one more meal for a hotel guest.

We’ve stayed at the Crossways several times over the past 5 years and have ALWAYS had a pleasant stay however, on this occasion although the accommodation was the usual high standard the food in the restaurant was very poor, we did mention this so the staff were aware, the food was poorly presented and quite chewy (I’m particularly talking about the lasagne) the gluten free options for my mother were limited (no gf bread/bun) they used do amazing chunky chips but are now soggy fries, I’m not sure what’s changed but it is such a shame as this let down the stay somewhat. I will end in a positive that the breakfast was its usual fabulous and the lady who serves us is extremely pleasant and friendly, a real asset to the business, we will be returning in the hope it was just a one off bad meal.

We stay here every year for The Healing Weekend. Absolutely love it. Comfortable air conditioned en-suite rooms which are spacious and clean. Despite being at a pub I've never been disturbed by any noise from the pub. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is lovely. Plenty of parking.

Fabulous halfway overnight stay to St Ives, Cornwall. No problem parking car. Had evening meal which was excellent & plenty of choice, highly recommend booking before hand. Very comfortable room & bed. Breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend & would not hesitate to use again.
