Perth Youth Hostel and Apartments

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room and shared kitchen. A couple of kilometres to Perth centre but frequent buses within a few minutes of the complex. A great base for exploring the area

Reception staff helpful, big emergency green light in ceiling on permanently illuminating room all night, animals in wall/ceiling, shower leaks, sink smells, student halls mattress poor, free and plentiful parking, good communal kitchen

The care taker is friendly and helpful. On the day I arrived I was given the key and how to use it. I was not shown where the kitchen is. It’s my first time using a youth hostel. The room I stayed in wasn’t hoovered well. When I found the kitchen the next day I didn’t use it apart from leaving my bought food. I left 7 days early because I didn’t feel well. The room was very stuffy. One caretaker kindly lent me his small hand held fan.

Excellent value! Cheap and cheerful. No towels but can hire one so be warned
