Amazing two night stay at the Anchor Inn. We had the Knowles room which was in the front of the property, great sunlight and views of the street and the side patio. Stayed with my boyfriend and the room was extremely spacious. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, amazing location. Quiet and quaint. Room had powerful AC and nice features with a sitting area and closet. we will be back next summer for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at The Anchor Inn. We had to abandon our boat in the mooring field because of a storm. We arrived at the ill with a chill, and the proprietor, Nate, immediately brought us a heater for our room. The bed was very cozy—great sheets and pillows! The ample towels in the well stocked bath ( with Alchemy products) were my favorite—Frette! Soft and think cotton. Our room was very clean, as was the whole in. Nice tv service. Wonderful morning coffee and continental breakfast. Nate couldn’t be anymore accommodating and kind! Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at the Anchor Inn! Our room was very cozy, the location is outstanding, and the breakfast was awesome. The innkeeper, Nate, was extremely accommodating, kind, and willing to go above and beyond. We even rented a jeep from him right on site which was super convenient and a fun way to explore the island! I can’t wait to return!

Nate, the innkeeper was excellent, friendly. He provided places to eat, places of interest. Place is old but that is the charm of this place. Toiletries were nice. Place is close enough to the ferry terminal, Main Street shopping and restaurants.

Our stay at a vintage Nantucket Inn was not only a walk back in history - but an absolute delight. We appreciated the beautifully made beds and luxurious linens, as well as the availability of beach chairs and beach towels - also soft and luxurious!

We were on a girls' weekend and we loved staying at the Anchor Inn. Nate and his staff were great and gave us great ideas of where to eat and what to do. The Inn was charming and very comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to sit in the living room after a long day of fun. Also, the quality of the bedding and towels was top of the line.

The location is central but not right in the middle of all the noise and foot traffic. Room was accommodating and all the decor updates were appealing. Plenty of seating in and outside to enjoy quiet street. Nice and clean. Cont. B'fast of fruits, muffins and coffee, juice. Nate is a friendly and accommodating host!

Amazing litlle inn… close proximity to everything..: arrived early on the island and were able to check in early. We had our own private entrance, bed was very comfortable and room was very spacious! Nate the owner was very kind and friendly.

The room was fabulous and the housekeeping impeccable. The breakfasts were amazing - bagels, yogurt, melon, strawberries, cereal. The showers were tiny - don't drop the soap, as you will have to get out of the shower to pick it up! But this is probably standard for these very old and historic homes. The proprieter was perfect - very helpful but never intrusive.

Great location for exploring the island, quaint room, but needed repairs ie paint chipping, window covering broken, bannister in hall loose. Sounds in hallway and upstairs readily transmitted to our room and was disturbing at times and during sleeping hours. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great continental breakfast with fresh fruits.

For the price this hotel was not in good condition. the windows in the room did not open and probably haven't been open in decades which makes one wonder about air quality. the bathroom was ridiculously small..had to sit sideways on toilet. the noise outside was constant. the room was very hastily cleaned. the breakfast was subpar. for about 200 night this would be ok not over 700. never again. sorry the manager was nice but the owners obviously enjoy ripping off summer tourists.

The room Platina was the worst. They store all the dirty linen and house keeping items just in front of the room. That room needs a lot of renovation. The bathroom was not dirty but it was tiny and needs fixing. Lounge area was okay. Breakfast was barely okay. The other rooms that I could peek at in the upstairs seemed better.

Bathroom 3 by seven feet, you must step around the toilet to gain entrance, “couch” in room is 6 inches above the floor, bed mattress collapses to the middle, steep narrow stairs make it hard to negotiate luggage. Proprietor was a great guy but his building a little too “old Nantucket” for us.

This was a lovely place to stay for Stroll. Everything is walkable, and while the room we stayed in was small, it was fine for 2 people. It’s an old house so that’s to be expected. Breakfast was nice, and while I am not a coffee drinker, the smell of a fresh pot was a lovely was to wake up in the morning. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

First time on the island and I don’t think we will ever stay at another place. It was perfect for our girls trip! We had a lovely time here. The room was clean, beautiful and decorated very nicely. Nate was very helpful with his tips and places to visit. The location was perfect too! We only had to get an uber from the airport but we walked to all the popular spots. 5-10 min walk to everything. I can’t wait to visit again!

Great location and adorable/well appointed/clean and quiet bed and breakfast. We chatted with Nate (I believe it was Nate!) and he was so friendly and welcoming - like an instant friend whom you’ve known forever. We definitely want to come back off season and spend more time!

Amazing two night stay at the Anchor Inn. We had the Knowles room which was in the front of the property, great sunlight and views of the street and the side patio. Stayed with my boyfriend and the room was extremely spacious. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, amazing location. Quiet and quaint. Room had powerful AC and nice features with a sitting area and closet. we will be back next summer for sure!

Nate, the innkeeper was excellent, friendly. He provided places to eat, places of interest. Place is old but that is the charm of this place. Toiletries were nice. Place is close enough to the ferry terminal, Main Street shopping and restaurants.

First time on the island and I don’t think we will ever stay at another place. It was perfect for our girls trip! We had a lovely time here. The room was clean, beautiful and decorated very nicely. Nate was very helpful with his tips and places to visit. The location was perfect too! We only had to get an uber from the airport but we walked to all the popular spots. 5-10 min walk to everything. I can’t wait to visit again!

This was a lovely place to stay for Stroll. Everything is walkable, and while the room we stayed in was small, it was fine for 2 people. It’s an old house so that’s to be expected. Breakfast was nice, and while I am not a coffee drinker, the smell of a fresh pot was a lovely was to wake up in the morning. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The room Platina was the worst. They store all the dirty linen and house keeping items just in front of the room. That room needs a lot of renovation. The bathroom was not dirty but it was tiny and needs fixing. Lounge area was okay. Breakfast was barely okay. The other rooms that I could peek at in the upstairs seemed better.

We enjoyed our stay at The Anchor Inn. We had to abandon our boat in the mooring field because of a storm. We arrived at the ill with a chill, and the proprietor, Nate, immediately brought us a heater for our room. The bed was very cozy—great sheets and pillows! The ample towels in the well stocked bath ( with Alchemy products) were my favorite—Frette! Soft and think cotton. Our room was very clean, as was the whole in. Nice tv service. Wonderful morning coffee and continental breakfast. Nate couldn’t be anymore accommodating and kind! Thank you!

The room was fabulous and the housekeeping impeccable. The breakfasts were amazing - bagels, yogurt, melon, strawberries, cereal. The showers were tiny - don't drop the soap, as you will have to get out of the shower to pick it up! But this is probably standard for these very old and historic homes. The proprieter was perfect - very helpful but never intrusive.

For the price this hotel was not in good condition. the windows in the room did not open and probably haven't been open in decades which makes one wonder about air quality. the bathroom was ridiculously small..had to sit sideways on toilet. the noise outside was constant. the room was very hastily cleaned. the breakfast was subpar. for about 200 night this would be ok not over 700. never again. sorry the manager was nice but the owners obviously enjoy ripping off summer tourists.

The Anchor Inn is a great small hotel/bed and breakfast, located in easy walking distance to most sites. Natte, the caretaker, was awesome, answered all our questions and makes the best quiche! We will definitely tell all our friends about this place, and when we go back to Nantucket, we will stay here again!

Breakfast options were fantastic Saturday but Sunday very little bagels/muffins and staff could not locate any more at 8 am. Bathroom was very unacceptable. Having the sink in our bedroom is less than desirable. My husband could not go to the bathroom and close the door. The charm of an older inn is lovely.

Our room was the James Arnold, which was upstairs. I believe my reservation said the Morning Star, which was on the ground floor. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues unless you are guaranteed a ground floor room. The stairs are steep, not deep, and not enough handrails. The breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee/tea (didn’t see decaf coffee tho). Lots of bagels, muffins, English muffins, croissants. Nate, (property manager?) Was friendly and helpful. Good location.
