Honestly such a fantastic place to come and stay. We came with the family, 2 young kids. Both enjoyed the gardens and the room was more than enough sized. Food was incredible and the staff were very friendly. Obviously a good place to come as I found out my mum used to bring me here over 30 years ago too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wight Mouse Inn. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and very nice shower. The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. We ate in the pub on 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it also. We appreciated the dog friendliness, and the outdoor seating areas. There are lots of areas for walking, hiking and enjoying the incredible views. Parking was available and free. It was just a short drive to many of the tourist attractions. One item that could be improved is the lock/security of the door to the room (we felt reasonably safe, but noted it as a potential safety issue). The lock was not very secure and could easily be picked by a thief. Even so, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Inn for a relaxing, comfortable location with good food and friendly staff.

This is a large and popular inn with super friendly and happy staff. The room was very clean but a bit dated (a bathroom overhaul would greatly improve). Parking out front was often full but we found a space in the large car park at the rear accessed by road behind garden. It would be helpful if spots were relieved for hotel guests out front. Food was fantastic. Nothing on the island is further than 30mins away and I prefer the less built up south edge of the island.

We were lucky and stayed on Saturday night and there was live music, which was entertaining. Then we had a great breakfast the next morning nothing to fault the place.

Perfect stay in a beautiful spot and our room had a brilliant view of the sea and coast. Very dog friendly which is one of the reasons we booked again. Staff very friendly and helpful and a nice English breakfast. Will stay again next spring.

Such a lovely Inn with fantastic grounds and views across the Bay We stayed in room 10 and it was a large and comfortable room The breakfasts were amazing and set us up nicely for the days travelling Staff were very friendly and looked after us well Only thing to note is that it's a busy pub that has music (Inc some live), it's very family oriented so no drama their but the rooms are situated above the bar/restaurant so of course you can hear the noise from the room It never stopped us going to sleep and both young kids were fine

The Wight Mouse is situated on the south side of the Island. The rooms are well decorated and extremely comfortable. Soap, shower gel, tea and coffee are all provided in the room. Breakfast consists of a buffet style - yogurts, cereals, fruit and pastries as well as a freshly cooked made to order hot breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, tomatoes, avocado, toast etc. and is included in the room price. There is ample parking with three car parks, one at the front , one to the side of the building and one at the rear of the huge garden. They also have two electric charges ( one 11kw and one 7kw) which can be accessed via the Monta app but you will need your own leads. The range of food in the evening is vast - the usual menu with a specials board which changes daily. Best to try and book a table but if you re a resident they will always fit you in. All the staff at The Wight Mouse are extremely pleasant and helpful. A special mention must be made of Lou and Tony, who were extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The Wight Mouse is a little remote if you don't have a car but there are plenty of walking route and a regular bus ( the No 6) which stops at nearby Ventnor. They are also dog friendly.

Lots of parking. Very dog friendly. Loads of outside spaces. View to sea. Fabulous building. Lots of nooks and crannies for sitting and eating / drinking. Staff friendly helpful lovely. Rooms ok breakfast plentiful delicious. All food is great and very generous servings. Very popular inn

The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable and although the the rooms are above a busy pub/resturant, they are not noisy. Excellent choices for breakfast and a large and varied menu for evening meals...all cooked to perfection, and large portions as well. Wonderful views across the fields and hills to the Needles from some rooms and the garden. Perfect location for the Island's attractions too. My friends and I had a really lovely stay here and recommend it highly.

The Wight mouse Inn is in a perfect location for walking. The food was very good with generous portions. Rooms were very clean and adequately furnished. All in all I can’t fault it and would definitely stay again.

the place was all decorated but the actual room cleaning was not done properly rim on toilet was disgusting, the floor corners were not clean and its a shame as the place is all decorated but it will fall into a mess as the cleaning not done and the doors are filthy in the rooms these have not been painted or cleaned. TV wants amazon log in to work!!!! Food was ok but a bit cold, we ordered a started and i think it was all cooked at the same time but brought out separately. On the up side great wine for good prices

Arrived on a super busy, hot summers Saturday for our 7 night stay and when we checked in, we were made to feel so welcome as we were shown to our spacious family room (10). The team of staff, headed by Katie and Debbie could not have done more to make our holiday a special one. Great choice of food and drinks available and a specials board which genuinely did change daily with some delicious delights. The pub and restaurant, despite being so busy, felt like a very well oiled machine with everything just flowing beautifully. Impressed to see that every morning, not only was the interior of the venue was cleaned, but the grounds were tended to too, stray straws, cigarette ends etc. The room we were in was the coolest apparently but upon hearing that this menopausal old gal was still suffer with the heat, a fan was very kindly left in our room by the lovely friendly housekeeping ladies without being asked for. Bed was made daily and toilet roll, and tea/coffee supplies topped up, however, and this was my only (very minor) issue, was that the carpet didn’t appear to be vacuumed throughout the week as a trip to the beach meant we’d inadvertently brought sand back with us which was left undiscovered on the bedroom carpet, and dust from the bathroom vent wasn’t cleared from the bathroom floor all week. If I’d have asked, I know it would have been dealt with immediately but wasn’t that big an issue. Before we’d left, we started planning our next visit so see you soon Wight Mouse Inn

I had a wonderful stay recently at the Wight Mouse. The room was clean and well-appointed with tea/coffee, towels, bath products, etc., and was cleaned throughly each day. The restaurant was excellent and the staff was very friendly too. I visited during the off-season so it was quiet, which I also appreciated. Great location too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. The food (breakfast and dinner) were delicious and the service was excellent. The floor creaks a little and there is the noise from downstairs in the evenings, which is to be expected. We would happily stay again here!

Due to staying here 2 yrs previous we knew we had picked a good hotel, however, this time was even better. The atmosphere was comfortable and cosy, with all staff being very friendly and professional. Don’t know all their names but Alec, Jordan and Tony (Mr Mouse) were just a few of the staff that were well remembered, but also others were just as friendly and professional. Thank you Wight Mouse for a very happy birthday stay

The breakfast was a good variety of buffet style except the hot cooked full breakfast or part off, plenty of filter coffee and pots of tea. The staff, Debbie, Amy and Katy were all friendly and polite. Very professional and a pleasure to be served by them

I had a wonderful stay recently at the Wight Mouse. The room was clean and well-appointed with tea/coffee, towels, bath products, etc., and was cleaned throughly each day. The restaurant was excellent and the staff was very friendly too. I visited during the off-season so it was quiet, which I also appreciated. Great location too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wight Mouse Inn. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and very nice shower. The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. We ate in the pub on 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it also. We appreciated the dog friendliness, and the outdoor seating areas. There are lots of areas for walking, hiking and enjoying the incredible views. Parking was available and free. It was just a short drive to many of the tourist attractions. One item that could be improved is the lock/security of the door to the room (we felt reasonably safe, but noted it as a potential safety issue). The lock was not very secure and could easily be picked by a thief. Even so, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Inn for a relaxing, comfortable location with good food and friendly staff.

Perfect stay in a beautiful spot and our room had a brilliant view of the sea and coast. Very dog friendly which is one of the reasons we booked again. Staff very friendly and helpful and a nice English breakfast. Will stay again next spring.

The Wight Mouse is situated on the south side of the Island. The rooms are well decorated and extremely comfortable. Soap, shower gel, tea and coffee are all provided in the room. Breakfast consists of a buffet style - yogurts, cereals, fruit and pastries as well as a freshly cooked made to order hot breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, tomatoes, avocado, toast etc. and is included in the room price. There is ample parking with three car parks, one at the front , one to the side of the building and one at the rear of the huge garden. They also have two electric charges ( one 11kw and one 7kw) which can be accessed via the Monta app but you will need your own leads. The range of food in the evening is vast - the usual menu with a specials board which changes daily. Best to try and book a table but if you re a resident they will always fit you in. All the staff at The Wight Mouse are extremely pleasant and helpful. A special mention must be made of Lou and Tony, who were extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The Wight Mouse is a little remote if you don't have a car but there are plenty of walking route and a regular bus ( the No 6) which stops at nearby Ventnor. They are also dog friendly.

Everything about this Inn is great. Easy check-In and out, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable and although the the rooms are above a busy pub/resturant, they are not noisy. Excellent choices for breakfast and a large and varied menu for evening meals...all cooked to perfection, and large portions as well. Wonderful views across the fields and hills to the Needles from some rooms and the garden. Perfect location for the Island's attractions too. My friends and I had a really lovely stay here and recommend it highly.

the place was all decorated but the actual room cleaning was not done properly rim on toilet was disgusting, the floor corners were not clean and its a shame as the place is all decorated but it will fall into a mess as the cleaning not done and the doors are filthy in the rooms these have not been painted or cleaned. TV wants amazon log in to work!!!! Food was ok but a bit cold, we ordered a started and i think it was all cooked at the same time but brought out separately. On the up side great wine for good prices

It is a great location and view towards the sea. Only small gripe was that our breakfast took some time to arrive and the poached eggs could have been used as squash balls! But they were edible and we would come back as we have been there before.
