Highly recommend this little rental house. Super cute, clean and has everything you could need for your stay. Lucas was easy to work with too. I will definitely book this place again when I’m back in Albert Lea!

Had all that we needed in a quiet peaceful neighborhood during a short visit out of town. Short walk to playground and aquatic center. The county fair was going on during our visit which we took advantage of. The house itself was very cozy and clean.

Great place to stay. Everything is labeled for easy use of shower, coffee pot and dishwasher. Very quiet place to stay. Great for a couple get away or for a family of four.

The house was as great as it was the first time I rented it. Love the location and the quiet neighborhood. Everything we need is always in the home. Luc is a great person to interact with and always helpful!

We loved our stay at this property with everything we needed to cook our own food or easy convenience to explore great local restaurants. Very responsive host and fun to see the extensive renovations they have done to the home through a book they have available. A wonderful stay overall!

Very Organized and cozy with everything labeled. And everything you would need. Big farm table for playing games and eating. The bedroom was very relaxing, the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would add is a TV in the bedroom. But I would stay here again.

I was in town for my cousins wedding. The dollar house was perfect for a quick trip in to Albert Lea. Very close to all the events I was attending and had everything I needed while away from home.

This house is very clean and well equipped. It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, so that was a bonus! We enjoyed eating at The Elbow Room, which is just a couple of minutes away. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in this darling house. A short walk to the lake and easy drive to local restaurants. Great for our family of 4 (kids shared the pull-out couch bed). I would say it comfortably sleeps 4 (2 to a bed). Kitchen is great, well organized. Would recommend for a couple or family of 4.

We were in town for a wedding, Luke was great about getting us checked in early so we could get ready at the house after driving 4+ hours. Everything was just as described, clean, and a good size. We will book again if we come visit the area again to visit our friends again. The only thing was the bed is a very soft mattress, which is wonderful if that is your preference. I just like a firm mattress. Otherwise very nice property, we enjoyed our short stay!

A Horrifying and Unsafe ExperienceMy stay at this property was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Upon arrival, we discovered a trash can overflowing with maggots. When we contacted the host to address this sanitation issue, they refused to handle it and instead asked us to clean it ourselves.In addition to the maggot-filled trash, the basement had a serious water problem, with a large section of the floor covered in standing water from what appeared to be a leaking foundation. This created a strong odor and raised serious concerns about potential mold growth.When we asked for reasonable compensation for having to deal with these unsanitary and unsafe conditions, the host's behavior became immediately hostile. We immediately contacted VRBO about the situation. The host chose to communicate with us exclusively via text messages, bypassing the official VRBO platform, and became verbally abusive and threatening. The situation escalated to the point where the host abruptly canceled our reservation and told us to leave.Feeling completely unsafe due to the host's threatening messages and volatile behavior, we immediately packed our belongings and left the property. The host's actions were not only unprofessional but also made us fear for our personal safety.I urge anyone considering this property to be extremely cautious. The issues with cleanliness, property maintenance, and, most importantly, the host's dangerous and abusive behavior make this a place to avoid.

We felt tucked away in a quiet neighborhood & it was perfect to just “be” and catch up with each other! I had a couple things to talk to the owner about and he was receptive and responsive- what more can you ask for?! We look forward to staying there again and enjoy hikes and the lake in Albert Lea!
