The location of this property is perfect for taking advantage of all that Tucson has to offer. The room arrangement is interesting but, we managed well. Linens were excellent quality. It was nice to have a laundry facility available.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our pretty casita in Tuscon. It really is a charming place. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had a few items to help with meal making. There is plenty of shopping in the area and great markets to go to. We had wonderful weather and took full advantage of the lovely landscaped yard, which is totally fenced so our dog was able to roam around. There was so much to explore around the area. We went to the Botanical Garden, Saguaro National Park, Desert Museum, Biosphere 2 (a must see) and the San Xavier del bac Mission. We loved going to Reid Park for dog walks! So many other places to see and enjoy. Taylor and Yuko take pride in their little gem!

It's a comfortable casita, clean, well stocked with essentials. Parking was easy. Yard was fenced, but I wouldn't leave a pet unattended as the front gate wouldn't close. My dog escaped, which wasn't fun due to the busy roads nearby. This was my final night of a 6 week cross country road trip with my dog. It ended up being the single most expensive night on the entire trip because I was hit with an additional "pet fee" after booking. I had done many rental bookings throughout my trip, always noting that I was traveling with my dog during the booking process. I was stuck with this additional pet fee after booking because of course I booked last minute & could not cancel. Just annoyed with the five star price for a three to four star place.

The outside was super cute, in a quiet neighborhood. a bit of a strange layout. I wish the interior was as nice as the exterior. It was just ok. Decor was random and sparse, the bed was a metal frame on wheels. Both the pillow shams and the comforter were obviously worn with a few visible holes and appeared to need a washing. There was only one towel and no bath mat on my first of two nights. The cutting boards and bowels were dirty. One of the 2 burners on the small stove didn't work. Overall it was just ok.

Spent a long weekend here and loved the close proximity to black crown coffee and other restaurants. Neighborhood felt safe and was relatively quiet aside from the neighbors dog barking. My only complaint is the thermostat schedule. It's so random and would turn the heat off in the middle of the night which was really frustrating because we'd wake up cold. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

The casita was darling, very nicely decorated, super clean, no detail overlooked. Very comfortable bed. It was stocked with everything we could have wanted or needed for our stay. The hosts were super responsive, I had a LOT of questions and they answered everything super quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

The villa was neatly decorated and had a lot of character. The landscaping was beautiful, the life tree was magical. The fridge was dirty, the pillows were flat and the extra ones were stained, the shower head needed to be replaced… quiet neighborhood, but we will probably not be back.

The exterior is as cute as shown in photos, although the bicycles are not in working condition. We took frequent walks in the neighborhood and felt completely safe. There are several grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops a short distance from the casita, so this location worked well for us. Unfortunately, the housekeeping gets a failing grade. A pair of socks from a previous guest were left on the floor near the edge of the bed, as well as dust bunnies under the bed, there was an unpleasant odor (presumably mold) in the bathroom closet and I discovered after starting to wash the sheets, that there was dried blood on the mattress pad, also from a previous guest. This lack of detailed cleaning was a dealbreaker for us.

We actually met Yuko and their young son as we were checking out, and very much enjoyed talking to them. It was immaculately clean, and when I needed them to replace the propane in the grill, they dealt with it immediately. Two things that you should be aware of before renting, though. The layout is rather odd; the kitchen, while quite well equipped for a VRBO property, is in the same area as the bedroom. This was a bit of a problem for us, as I aways awaken hours before my girlfriend. So I had to disturb her putting my breakfast together and getting the coffee going. And (to be fair, like much of Tucson) it is not a great walking neighborhood. It is not pedestrian friendly, and there isn't much around it as a destination.

Really comfortable and spacious casita. Lovely outdoor area that enabled me to enjoy the late fall sunny and warm days in Tucson. It was the perfect place to allow us to explore Tucson during the day and to come home to a nice sweet place in a comfortable neighborhood. And we at the best Mexican food every day of our stay.

We had a good stay at Taylor and Yuko's place. They were friendly (over text) and flexible on check-in time as well. The outdoor area is great.Note that this casita is one of two rental properties on the same lot. Each has its own outdoor space.A couple of things that could have been improved:1) A small shelf in the shower would have made it easier to place toiletries in there. This is especially good for guests (like me) with mobility issues, since it removes the need to keep bending up and down. (The property is otherwise accessible.)2) The "second bed" in this listing is really a fold-out couch that was too flimsy and uncomfortable for my friend to use. Don't think of this as a true two-bedroom property.Other than that, we had a great stay.

We really love this little casita which is centrally located to everything. The layout is a little different, but it is very well maintained! This was our first visit to Tucson and spent a lot of time exploring. We enjoyed spending the mornings and evenings in the cozy backyard. The only thing we could recommend is new beds/mattresses - they weren’t as comfortable as we would’ve liked. We do plan on returning in the future and we will be looking to book this casita.

Great location, 10-15 minutes from everything in Tucson! The neighborhood felt safe, cute, and while the layout of the casita is a bit odd, we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and access to parking on the property.

This casita was surprisingly spacious with lots to offer. Besides a queen bed with TV and kitchenette and bathroom on one side, there’s a whole other half with living room and dining area. Everything is comfortable and clean and they provide everything you might need during your stay. The area is quiet and the area felt safe to us.

This is my third stay and I will certainly have many more stays in the future. I love the joy of pulling up to my own casita that is close to everything and has everything. Taylor and Yuko are lovely owners and very responsive if needs arise. I highly recommend staying in one of their lovely homes.

When we checked in while in front of the property, we realized we confirmed the incorrect dates. We called the owner, he stated he'd meet us in 5-minutes, he was at the property in 2-minutes. We were panicking because we also had our adult dog with us and needed a 2-night stay. Fortunately, the other party renting the unit had to leave early, so the owner helped up secure the weekend rental.He couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay in Tucson.

The place was well stocked and had far more than we needed for our trip, but great to know how prepared they are for guests! They’re incredibly responsive to any needs/questions, always a plus. If we’re ever in need of staying in Tuscon, I would not hesitate to stay at one of their properties!

Overall, we had a very nice stay at the casita. The hosts were very accommodating and communication was great. The location is fairly close to UofA (maybe 5-7 minutes drive time, so that was convenient for our purposes. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood is a little hit or miss but generally quiet and felt safe.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint casita. The kitchen and bath were well equipped, including coffee and shampoo, which we always appreciate. The yard was fenced, which was great for our golden retriever. Communication with the owner was easy and we will stay again. Thanks.

We actually met Yuko and their young son as we were checking out, and very much enjoyed talking to them. It was immaculately clean, and when I needed them to replace the propane in the grill, they dealt with it immediately. Two things that you should be aware of before renting, though. The layout is rather odd; the kitchen, while quite well equipped for a VRBO property, is in the same area as the bedroom. This was a bit of a problem for us, as I aways awaken hours before my girlfriend. So I had to disturb her putting my breakfast together and getting the coffee going. And (to be fair, like much of Tucson) it is not a great walking neighborhood. It is not pedestrian friendly, and there isn't much around it as a destination.

Lovely little casita. Perfect for a couple or family of 3/4. We stayed for Parent’s Weekend and it was easy in and out and about an 8 minute drive to campus give or take the lights- IYKYK. I loved the garden outside as well.

Clean, basic, a bit quirky layout, beautiful landscaping, and functional. The cleanness was superb and the local vibe was captured in the furnishings. Our family felt safe, even though there were a lot of people loitering just outside the neighborhood (towards the city area). Spent a long weekend here and loved the close proximity to black crown coffee and other restaurants. Neighborhood felt safe and was relatively quiet aside from the neighbors dog barking. My only complaint is the thermostat schedule. It's so random and would turn the heat off in the middle of the night which was really frustrating because we'd wake up cold. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful casita. Yard with lots of cacti and desert plants. Beautifully remodeled but retaining an old southwest feel. Great air conditioning quiet and effective. We slept great. A nice little neighborhood close to busy streets. The house was quiet even though we had easy street access to travel to most of the places we wanted to visit. Definite visit include Kitt peak Nat observatory, Kartchner caverns, Saguaro NP, Desert Museum. Hosts were very helpful on questions and help when needed.
