We enjoyed a one night stay at Miraggio before heading to the airport the next morning. It's a cute, 1920s style beach cottage 3 blocks from the beach. Condition was about as expected for a vintage property. The only thing we didn't like was the smell of smoke in the main area (only when smoking employees/guests) were in the room. Our room did not smell. Staying here gets you access to the pool at a resort on the beach, but not the chairs and umbrellas on the beach? That was strange. We were booted 4 beach slots over to the non-amenity free beach. Bit of an eyeroll there. Nothing to tour or see in the area, but there are several restaurants to choose from on the beach--late Roman hours for dining. Overall, it was a good beach afternoon and seafood dinner on the beach for us. Very helpful desk staff. They gave us an early morning cappuccino and pastries even though we hadn't paid for the continental breakfast.

Nice comfortable room. Front desk staff very helpful. Grateful for bicycles that we used to go to a grocery store for some basic supplies and out for dinner as this property is very definitely in a residential neighbourhood with nothing close by, especially in November when most beachside restaurants were open for lunch but not dinner. Very close to a beautiful wide beach.

This is a darling boutique hotel with a 24 hour staff - something a little unusual for a hotel this size. Our room had everything we needed, plenty of towels and a beautiful outside patio. We enjoyed a bottle of wine outside. The restaurant chef is amazing, menu is well rounded. We loved the ambiance at dinner. Unfortunately had to leave so early in the morning that we couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast which starts around 7:00am. What should be noted is the entire area is seasonal. Hopping busy in the summer months and quiet in cooler months. We stayed mid-October. Nothing is open around the hotel within walking distance. The pool is not open nor the club on the beach. Having a car is suggested.

Well located, 30 minutes drive to the airport with possibility of transfer. The restaurant in the hotel was a good alternative since everything around was closed at that time of the year.

The hotel is right by the bus stop which took me directly from FCO. The staff were very welcoming, the grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the beach is a short walk away. I would highly recommend.

The grounds and gardens surrounding the hotel are beautiful. The inside of the hotel is in dire need of renovations though. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people doing their business in the toilets, talking and their cell phone ringing. The air-conditioner didn’t work and it was 26°C in the room. Couldn't keep the windows open at night because there were no screens on the windows and the mosquitos were terrible. Front desk couldn't figure out why the AC wasn't working and didn’t offer any solutions. The internet was ok but the signal wasn't strong so I never had full bars. The hotel staff walked around in loud shoes thumping through hallways from 7AM onwards. The town has nothing closeby and most restaurants were closed. Beach is difficult to access as you have to enter through private beach clubs which looked as if they've been abandoned for some time. Its not super convenient to get to the hotel without a car. The bus from the airport has limited hours and is not that frequent. Overall i wouldn't stay again or recommend.

This property claims to have airport shuttle but IT IS NOT TRUE. Once you get to the airport and call them to understand where you have to go... they tell you have to get your own taxi and pay for it. If you want and in advance, they can arrange a taxi driver for premium price. therefore you are better off staying in Rome than in this house called ''hotel'' in the middle of nowhere with poor AC. By the way... breakfast in not included. advise... STAY IN ROME!

We needed a place close to the airport for an early morning flight. Simple and adequate room. Quiet setting with gardens surrounding it. Great bed and good night sleep. Staff were all friendly and professional. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Worked just fine. But we had to leave before breakfast. Our shuttle @ 50€ was waiting for us for our 7 am departure.

The staff was nice and very helpful so I feel bad about leaving a negative review. The rest was... Yeah... Not great at all. Imagine the photos but 20 years later with: scuff marks everywhere, dirty walls, cracks in the shower floor, dusty, etc. The bed is very uncomfortable (arms and legs would go numb after a few hours of laying down). It kind of felt like sleeping on a yoga mat on the floor. It's also very noisy and the door seemed like it would be easily broken. You could hear everyone in their rooms like it was a dorm. We considered leaving as soon as we checked-in but it was very late at night and nothing else was available that we wanted to take a risk on. There's also not very much in this area (which is fine). Just be prepared to go to the grocery store nearby or some of the beach restaurants / clubs. If you have a car, you probably want to drive somewhere else during the day. it felt like a deserted town that was thriving 20-30 years ago. A little depressing. Pretty crazy considering it was more expensive than our MUCH NICER hotel that we got few weeks ago near the Trevi Fountain.

The place is nice enough, the front desk staff are great. The small double room is... small. I wouldn't spend more than a night in that one. The noise and light from the hall was a little much, and the water took several minutes to warm up to shower. But, it's still a decently nice little hotel.

The Miraggio is a quaint old hotel with lovely treed gardens just a short 5 minute walk from the beach. We chose it because we had a couple days before flying out and it was both close to the airport and a pleasant stay. On the minus side, our room (210) was very small and had a rather noisy air conditioner. It was loud enough that it kept us awake. Like most accommodation of this type, they say they have flat screen TV but if you don't understand Italian and also aren't interested in talk TV then you might as well not have it. Other than that a charming old hotel worth trying out.

We loved out 3 night stay at Hotel Miraggio. We rented a guest house that had a living room and bedroom. It was totally accessible on one story with access to a courtyard out front and a green space with lounge chairs out the back sliders. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices, and we ate lunch a couple of times at the hotel restaurant on the beach where the food was excellent. Beach access was easy and the sunsets were amazing.

A nice quite hotel near the beach. Staff are very friendly and super helpful. The room is fairly basic. Aircon is set to auto mode and there is no remote in the room, so you can't adjust the temperature. I, personally, found it too hot to sleep. The bed is not very comfortable - old style bed with spings that turns into a hummock

For 1 night, this hotel did what it needed to do. Good spot before our flight out. The hotel itself can use some upgrades though. The walls and doors are very thin, you can hear everything in the hall.

The breakfast was fantastic, the gardens surrounding are stunning and the beach was very close walking distance. They were absolute gems with my toddler and you can tell the front desk staff generally love their job, so helpful friendly and even arranged a birthday cake for my son’s second birthday. I will literally never forget them. The pictures does not do it justice it is so much more beautiful in person and the house was much more spacious then I expected. We did not want to leave!

They were absolute gems with my toddler and you can tell the front desk staff generally love their job, so helpful friendly and even arranged a birthday cake for my son’s second birthday. I will literally never forget them. The pictures does not do it justice it is so much more beautiful in person and the house was much more spacious then I expected. We did not want to leave!

The grounds and gardens surrounding the hotel are beautiful. The inside of the hotel is in dire need of renovations though. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people doing their business in the toilets, talking and their cell phone ringing. The air-conditioner didn’t work and it was 26°C in the room. Couldn't keep the windows open at night because there were no screens on the windows and the mosquitos were terrible. Front desk couldn't figure out why the AC wasn't working and didn’t offer any solutions. The internet was ok but the signal wasn't strong so I never had full bars. The hotel staff walked around in loud shoes thumping through hallways from 7AM onwards. The town has nothing closeby and most restaurants were closed. Beach is difficult to access as you have to enter through private beach clubs which looked as if they've been abandoned for some time. Its not super convenient to get to the hotel without a car. The bus from the airport has limited hours and is not that frequent. Overall i wouldn't stay again or recommend.

This property claims to have airport shuttle but IT IS NOT TRUE. Once you get to the airport and call them to understand where you have to go... they tell you have to get your own taxi and pay for it. If you want and in advance, they can arrange a taxi driver for premium price. therefore you are better off staying in Rome than in this house called ''hotel'' in the middle of nowhere with poor AC. By the way... breakfast in not included. advise... STAY IN ROME!

Staff were all friendly and professional. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Worked just fine. But we had to leave before breakfast. Our shuttle @ 50€ was waiting for us for our 7 am departure.

Wr had an early flight so we decided to stay at Hotel Miraggio. It was a 20 minute drive to the airport. We were able to relax the night before, enjoy a delicious meal, and walk around the quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and the bed confortable. Thank you for a stress free stay.

We stayed here our final day in Italy. It was close enough to the Airport. They set up our shuttle to the airport (with perfect timing) Such a relaxing last day stay! Especially after being in the center city crowd & before a LONG trip home. Oh, & breakfast was delicious with the best coffee!

Need a refresh, the key for the room is the old fashion keys, not really secure to leave valuables in the room. The toilet is in a tiny place so when seated you have the face in the sink and need to move weardly to sit. We decided to eat there as there is no restaurant by a reasoneable walk distance on mondays. The food was low to average we did not eat one of the plate as it was soaking oil.

This is a darling boutique hotel with a 24 hour staff - something a little unusual for a hotel this size. Our room had everything we needed, plenty of towels and a beautiful outside patio. We enjoyed a bottle of wine outside. The restaurant chef is amazing, menu is well rounded. We loved the ambiance at dinner. Unfortunately had to leave so early in the morning that we couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast which starts around 7:00am. What should be noted is the entire area is seasonal. Hopping busy in the summer months and quiet in cooler months. We stayed mid-October. Nothing is open around the hotel within walking distance. The pool is not open nor the club on the beach. Having a car is suggested.

We loved out 3 night stay at Hotel Miraggio. We rented a guest house that had a living room and bedroom. It was totally accessible on one story with access to a courtyard out front and a green space with lounge chairs out the back sliders. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices, and we ate lunch a couple of times at the hotel restaurant on the beach where the food was excellent. Beach access was easy and the sunsets were amazing.
