There is no lobby to register at the motel. Walked around the building a couple of times, had to wait for someone to leave their room and ask. The lobby is in the Ramada next door. Should mention it on the sign. Other than that the room was very confortable.

The actual sign Chinook Inn check in at Ramada Hotel is not visible when approaching building. For people not familiar with the location a challenge.

Stayed for one night, no tv and no wifi, hotel did not seem interested in fixing it. Also no sign to say check in is in the Ramada lobby as this hotel does not have a lobby of its own. All and all very disappointed

Run by Ramada next door. The rates were very reasonable, parking excellent (motel style) especially having a plug in for the car. Room was very clean and motel pleasant. However, as usual with hotels, the TV remote did not work, the front desk could not explain how to use it. Both plastic drinking cups leaked for some reason, and don't bother with the hot breakfast (some kind of scrambled egg and almost sausages) although you can at least make some toast and have yogurt and cereal. I would definitely stay there again, but would make sure the TV worked and drinking glasses (why only 2?) worked first.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The bathtub was filthy, the sheets were dirty, it looked oike it hadnt been clean in months. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Two thimbs down.

Stains on the rugs that liked like poop. Smelled. No hot water second morning due to old plumbing .Sand coming out of bath tub taps during my six attempts to get hot water for a shower. Cold water tap needs replaced due to valve issues. Burn holes in bed spreads. Hair on sheets. Pillows were awful and only 2 to a bed.

The room was disgustingly dirty. Took pictures and took a list over to front desk and said how bad the room was. We should have had a big discount on the room. But unfortunately staff doesnt care. You should be ashamed to be renting out these rooms.

This is an old outdated Motel, it doesn't even have its own lobby. But it was clean and I had two excellent nights of sleep. I was worried the commercial car wash in front of my room would be noisy, but no, it was actually very quiet once inside the room. I was pleasantly surprised. Complimentary breakfast was good, Wifi was fast. I recommend for a good night of sleep on a budget.

We knew this was an older hotel but we were disappointed in our room. There was remnants on the floor of either previous occupants or the door being ajar for an extended period. Grass and feathers were found in bathroom. We had to kill about six flies as soon as we arrived. Fridge was working. Didn’t try microwave. It appears that this motel was purchased by Ramada which is right next door. The main sign for this motel was missing. The room has paper thin walls we could hear TV and in middle of night, we could hear our neighbor snoring. Traffic noise was minimal. Good location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and theatre. Check in at Ramada. Signage was poor.

The receptionist was rude, it was quite hard to find the intake office which is actually another hotel all together. And it's a motel that will not take a cash deposit, debit or any type of payment besides a credit card.

I’ve stayed at this motel multiple times and usually had no complaints. The breakfast is great for a motel, and the staff has generally been helpful. However, my most recent stay was disappointing. I noticed a strong sewer smell in my room that lasted throughout the day, and when I asked for help from the front desk, the staff seemed annoyed and didn’t offer a real solution other than moving me to a smoking room. The next morning, I was able to move back to a non-smoking room, which was a relief. Later that night, the power in my room went out (except for the air conditioning and alarm clock) after using the microwave. The front desk informed me that maintenance had left for the day and she couldn’t fix the issue or even access the breaker. I spent the entire night without power, and there was no follow-up or apology the next morning when the power finally came back on. I was really disappointed with how the situation was handled and expected better customer service. Hopefully, this was just an off experience, but I feel like this could have been managed better.

The assistant manager was very rude. We are young but are lucky enough that we can afford to stay in a more expensive place, own bussinesses, have good employment and own properties but just really prefer to spend our money on things other than where we sleep. We also like that its a smoking room which you cant ever find and definitely cant find ar a fancier place. I understand its a cheap motel and they may have questionable people staying there sometimes but I felt talked down to and like she was unnecessarily rude. The room itself wasnt perfect and we had a couple of issues, but it was clean. My husband still wants to stay there for our next business trip coming up, which I am on the fence about but that is only because of this - not because of any deficiencies with the room.

Came to Lethbridge to do a first aid course. Hotel was clean, spacious and tidy. Free morning breakfast was great! Full breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausage or bacon, toast, fruit and yogurt. Good value for both the room and breakfast! Would recommend for a quick overnight stay!

A small motel in mid-town Lethbridge suited our needs and the price was right. In any accommodation, a competent bed and a clean room are the most important. Chinook does this well. It is an old building, and could use some maintenance, but everything works. The front desk clerk at the nearby Ramada is cheerful and competent. If this type of accommodation suits you, then i recommend it.

Staff were friendly and accomodating. The accomodations were dated but serviceable. I stayed in the motel section and the rooms were classed as pet friendly. The room was musty smelling. Location was convenient and walkable to Henderson Lake and restaurants. Parking was plenty.

Property improved greatly since last time I visited. Yet, half of the rooms at Chinook are located close to a car wash, and there is a constant flow of vehicles flowing by. There is also limited breakfast choice-- heavy on protein, not that great for vegetarians. Furniture, bath tub, blanket, drapes, etc, show wear and tear, and so are towels. Price I paid/night is high considering.

This property was a bit of hidden gem, as it's actually run by the Ramada just across the parking lot. So cleaning standards are at that level. I also found that we were able to take advantage of the Ramada's breakfast facilities as well. Was great for an overnight, would repeat. Great value for money.
