Stayed 2 nights

We were down for a concert. he hotel looked fantastic from first impression, but thats where it stopped. First of all, there is no housekeeping except every three days, unless you request it. Second, the staff were not knowledgeable about anything around them at all. We asked about restaurant recommendations, and they could only plug their own downstairs restaurant. We wanted a good steakhouse, and were only offered a paper with a list of restaurants around them and a shoulder shrug. Third, the room.....the carpets were not recently vacuumed, and it appeared that someone either had a dog in there, or were shedding horribly themselves...hair everywhere. The bathroom had to be wiped down with disinfectant wipes because of the crud stuck to the counters, and pee on the toilets. The shower door would not stay closed, and it smelled like weed with no way to air it out. Then there was the bed, the pillows were the most worn out lumps of cotton we've slept on. The mattress felt like a cheap toddler bed from Walmart was sat on a board and covered with sheets. For more than $300 a night we were EXTREMELY disappointed. The only saving grace is that we didn't spend much time in the room at all. I called down to let them know what was going on, and no one was there to answer (with the deer in headlights look we received upon arrival, we weren't really expecting anything anyhow). Stop trying to cut corners by making housekeeping a request, actually clean the rooms, and train your staff!
