Fantastic property in a great location, just out of town. Wonderful view from the back deck. Very spacious living area. Comfortable firm bed. Easily heated room. Functional kitchen. Bathroom requires an update, especially the shower. Terrible water pressure. That is the only negative in an otherwise excellent accommodation venue!!!

Man hätte auch eine Frühstücksoption dazubuchen können, was wir aber nicht getan haben. Die Aussicht auf den Hafen war von unserem recht großen Balkon sehr schön. Ein Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür war auch vorhanden. Der Preis war allerdings recht hoch und allenfalls durch die Aussicht zu rechtfertigen.

Although this motel was very clean, it wss very out dated. Really needed an upgrade. The advertised spa does not exist. Harbour view was amazing but the gardens looked like they were taking over.

This motel is very spacious and I loved the little outside deck. The views that overlook the bay are absolutely beautiful. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Parking is right outside your motel door.

Nice view across the bay. Adequate cooking facilities. Host greeted us despite our late arrival. Convenient to town and kauri walk. Parking area is very tight, but there is also parking below. Lots of birds in the gardens.

Very spacious, clean and comfortably accommodation. The room opened onto a deck with outdoor furniture, overlooking the gardens at the front of the motel and the bay. The room was cosy and provides everything we needed for one night or a week. The location is exceptional overlooking the bay and with walking paths over the hills at the rear that lead into Coromandel. Delightful. The Coromandel Peninsula is so beautiful and we would love to visit again and would definitely stay at Harbour View Motel again.

We had a nice overnight stay. We had a family unit which was spacious and had a nice view out to the bay. The complex is comfortable but is quite dated - though this is typical for the town accommodations I think. We had a car so it’s location about 1.5km beyond town wasn’t a problem for us, and it gave us a nice view of the bay.

Établissement un peu vieillot situé le long d’une route côtière. Il accueille aussi des camions mais on arrive à se garer malgré le peu de place qui reste. Accueil sympathique par les propriétaires dans une maison séparée du bâtiment des chambres. On peut commander (la veille) un petit déjeuner, à prendre dans la chambre. Nous n’étions que deux mais il y avait 2 pièces et de quoi coucher 5 personnes dans notre « suite ». Ameublement rustique mais convenable et fonctionnel. Coin cuisine avec réfrigérateur, four à micro-onde et tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner et manger. Petite salle de bains avec douche et WC séparés. Le lavabo est équipé avec 2 robinets mais la douche bénéficie d’un mélangeur. Petite terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Un peu cher pour deux (190 NZD en octobre) vu l’ancienneté mais pratique pour une famille.

The view of the harbour from my room was sublime, very peaceful and serene. The unit was very spacious and had ample sleeping for five. I relaxed and enjoyed the coverage of the Paris Olympics provided on Sky while gazing out at the tranquil waters. A short drive to restaurants and bars. A friendly welcome from the Kiwi hosts make this a very memorable experience. I will definitely be back soon!
