The pool was closed for renovation which was not told to us in advance. That was the reason this property was chosen. The outside windows and air conditioner were covered in our room because of painting the outside walls. The hotel looks old and in need of complete renovation.

Furniture and room interior in need of overdue updates! Stayed 2 years ago and things were gradually getting done so I had hopes that this stay things would be taken care of. Unfortunately, still had dumpsters taking up parking and cabinets falling off hinges etc.

The only reason we chose this hotel is because the kids wanted to go swimming. The pool was closed!! The ice machines were out of order. The workout machines were out of order. The room’s air conditioner was broke so we had to change rooms. The toilet in the new room ran constantly. They are remodeling so there was constant hammering and banging. One good thing was the breakfast. We would have canceled but it was non refundable. Which is frustrating because they never told us about the pool being closed. There should be some kind of refund policy.

Do not stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Walking in the door you were hit in the face by the smell of cigarette smoke. Then when I go to check in the rude front desk person checks me in and says,"Oh by the way our elevator is broke down and your room is on the 3rd floor so you will have to walk up three flights of steps." I was travelling with someone that is handicapped and cannot walk up the three flights. This should have been sent out in an email or called. He did but he would cancel my reservation for free if I had to go else where. That was so kind of him. I went next door to the Hampton Inn. Thank goodness there was an available room. The hotel was clean, did not smell of cigarette smoke, and the clerk was wonderful. Do not stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

The reception was very polite. We arrived late and had a smooth check-in. The elevator was broken, and we had a lot of bags. 1st floor room were taken, so this was the main downside for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the showers hot. I wish they had more than 1 kind of pillow - they are all too soft - but otherwise, our stay was very good. It's a basic hotel breakfast. We liked the pancake machine.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times as we travel from Ohio to Maryland. It is always clean and it is so convenient to the turnpike. It's literally at the exit/entry ramp. The breakfast is very good too. They are in the process of updating the rooms which is all good. HI maintains this hotel very well.

I stayed here as an quick overnight. My room was clean, the hotel was quiet. The elevator smelled like weed...the hallway smelled like weed. The location can't be beat - right off the PA turnpike, but with that comes the airbrake noise of the trucks. Would I stay here again...probably. It was inexpensive & the room was clean, and that's what truly is important. The weed smell was yuck.

There was a cockroach in my room. The bathtub was completely clogged and unusable. Waited 5 hours for tub to be unclogged and no one ever showed up. There was no manager available. I asked to be moved to a different room and was told no other rooms were available. After going back & forth with the front desk attendant and demanding that a manager is contacted, she finally agreed to move me into a different room. Ironically after telling me no other rooms were available, suddenly there was a habitable room for me. Unacceptable! Poor customer service!!! This could have been resolved immediately but instead of accommodating the guest, the guest had to demand a new room and get out of character.

The floor was not well swept. The room was muggy, dew covering the window, and the bedding was damp. The shower did not drain so had to stand in 5-6 inches of dirty shower water while trying to shower a family of 5… terrible.

Reserved a handicap accessible room. Door into room was narrow, set up of room definitely not wheelchair friendly. No soap at the sink to wash hands in bathroom. Navigating between beds impossible. Room 308, don't stay in this room if you have a wheelchair.

The accessible room was pathetic, as if the designer had no idea about an end user’s needs, especially the shower area. Sad. The breakfast was repulsive and the same processed food all chains serve in America. Holiday Inn should be a leader in the industry but it appears to be falling well behind others like Hampton and Quinta.

I asked at my arrival for handicapped facilities. None was available. What shocked me was that the clerk said they only had one handicapped room. I found the toilet in my regular room seemed lower than most normal toilets. The TV also needs a channel guide and the thermostat did not work.

The first room had broken bathroom sink legs, lights flickered until the one just turned off, the furniture was falling apart and old. We dropped our stuff off went out and came back to a freezing room after we turned it up to 75. I talked to the front desk and he was very kind switching us without any hesitation! The next room was a lot better, I don’t mind a cheap hotel but the price should reflect the quality of the rooms. It’s a bit overpriced but breakfast was fair with very nice cleaning ladies keeping everything stocked and kept up!

Easy access off the turnpike and a large parking lot. Check in was fast and the room was clean and the a/c was cold. Breakfast was good. The only issue we saw was that the coffee maker was on a shelf so high up that if you are under about 5’10” you’re going to have a hard time pouring water into the reservoir. There was no easy way to move it as the cords were snaked through holes on the shelves. I tried to mention this to the front desk staff when we checked out but he was on the phone and ignored me.

Easy to get in/out. Very convenient for a visit to Flight 93. It would be nice if hotel had some directions, or may some brochures? (they are part of the greater tourism business) Breakfast was superb, as expected (this was a repeat visit)

The facilities maintenance staff needs to keep up: 1. Whoever caulked the seams in the shower failed 2. The sink in the room drains too slowly 3. The elevator’s button light for the fourth floor is still out. We stayed here months ago. The staff overseeing the breakfast area was outstanding again! Thank you! The bed was very comfortable.
