Renovations added really nice upgrade to rooms. Unfortunately, there was a lot of renovation and remodeling going on at the property, and there was a lot of furniture and mattresses in the walking areas. Caused an eyesore. But, that view is amazing. Get a room with an ocean view!! I’m thankful that this hotel is a little less expensive than others because it gives less wealthy people a chance to have a beach vacation. Pool and hot tub were great too!

Looks like this property is just starting to get up and running with new owners, things were clean, and you can tell her things are being updated. However, things like a hot tub not being at all hot and being told it's because there are too many people inside....that I cannot compromise on a hot hot tub... We were told there was too many people in the hot tub, that's why it's hot. I was alone and it was cold...

I love this hotel! How can you go wrong when you’re overlooking the ocean? My room was in the newly renovated side and it was beautiful! Breakfast is very simple; make your own waffles, some cereal and breads, etc. The indoor pool / hot tub - you can’t miss it! Even if it’s a thousand degrees outside and the ocean is screaming your name, give the hot tub a try.

The listing claimed that the hotel had an indoor pool. When we arrived we were informed the pool was closed for repairs. The pool was the primary reason I selected the hotel and the listing was misleading. The listing also claimed a bar, restaurant and lounge area but they were closed as well. Not an honest listing.

Property is right on the ocean and we had a balcony to sit on and enjoy. There is also a large patio with lounge chairs facing the beach. During low tides there is a beach right on the property as well. Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner and a bar with some entertainment are available also.

The room was very nice. Larger than most. Large bathroom. Well kept room. Clean, upgraded recently. We had an ocean view room on the second floor. No elevator. One would have been nice. I have a bad knee. Very large patio with lots of seats to look at the ocean. Outside window at the bar. That was a nice thing. Stairs to get to the water. One bad thing. The mattress was lumpy. The box spring was squeaky. They are ready for replacing. Other than that, very nice place..

the room has been updated and looks great. I can see that they are still upgrading the rest of the building. I wish it had an elevator, and the hall floors still need to be replaced. With live music right there on the ocean front and the 2 pools, it was very nice. Good job

When we checked in I used the public bathroom in the lobby. That smelled heavy of urine. The lobby smelled like it was just sprayed down with some fragrance spray. I should have known then how the rest was gonna go. Our room had a weird smell I can’t even describe it. There were dead gnat looking bugs in the window. The window was so water marked up you can’t even hardly see the bay. You might as well not even get a shower. The shower head just sprays one stream out. The bathroom light/fan combo was so loud we just used the heat light for a light when in the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable. You hear very sound in the hall. Slamming doors and people above us sounded like they were coming thru the ceiling everytime they walked. Hardly slept because of every sound you hear. You can see light thru the room doorframe. I will not be staying here again.

The floor was dirty. The room was really damp and musty. The A/C didn’t do anything to dry it out or cool. And it shook the whole room when you turned the fan on high. Bar and restaurant was closed. The front desk attendant started vacuuming right next to us when we tried to eat the sad continental breakfast. We won’t be coming back.

The staff was very unfriendly at check in. The room had flies inside, mosquitoes, beetles and other insects. Though the bathroom was renovated, they apparently do not know how to remove mildew, so the bathroom looked disgusting. I showered with flip flops because I did not want my feet to touch the bathroom floor or anything else. At least the bedding and mini fridge seemed clean. The area was loud, with people up all night until 3 am and people smoking outside. I would never return here again because it was so dirty, and infested with bugs and flies.

Room colors are old. Bathroom upgrades unfinished, No exhaust in the bathroom. We stayed in in 227 and we could hear everything was happening upstairs and outside our room. Upstairs top of our room it sounded like they were moving furniture, and pulling rolling wheeled suitcases and did not stop until 12am. Outside travelers were arriving. For the price it should be a more pleasant experience.

Ocean view was good. Room flooded because of high seas. Lounge closed very early every night. Entire facility was run down and the staff spoke very little English. Television had very poor reception and the screen was always grainy. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was spacious and had a gorgeous view of the water below. There was no closet or place to hang clothes, which meant we had to hang our clothes over a chair. There was space for a bar to be hung for clothes, but nothing was there. A small table with chairs for enjoying a snack or using the laptop would have improved the space quite a bit.

The room had a broken sliding door that was slightly open to a draft outside. The tv had no reception. The show had no mechanism working to switch from bath to shower. I informed the man at the desk after my first day and he said he’d talk to maintenance. I never saw them and had to shower elsewhere. In addition they had a very loud band right at the bottom of the stairs where my room was. It’s all I could hear until 10pm. I’ve stayed in nicer hostels.

Just wanted an ocean view. We had that but we also couldn’t shut off the lights on the balcony. Had that all night. Plus opening the sliding door to get on the balcony was very difficult. Once we got it open it was almost impossible to close.

The property was clean and well kept. My kids had a fantastic time at both the indoor and outdoor pools. There was even a band on Saturday night, that wasn’t too loud to affect my little sleepers. The breakfast was lackluster, but sufficient. The location near the beach was first rate. Most of all the owner, was kind, hospitable and able to help with all of our concerns. He even helped me inflate my tires.

We couldn't get our tv to work and no one came down to help. They were work on the second floor most of the night. Every time we went to the office a sign was on the counter that they would be back soon but got tired of waiting and left.

This may be because it was "low season" but rates were a little high for what you get. Customers have expectations that "free breakfast" means an assortment of breakfast items such as eggs or hot items like oatmeal. Granted there was cold cereal, bagels & toast, and apples, nothing else provided. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay with ocean view, as well as the historical sites. Sam was very friendly and upgraded our room for no extra charge; we greatly appreciated that!

We have stayed here numerous times before and have always enjoyed it however this time the manager decided it was acceptable to keep banging on our door for check out 5 minutes before check out time. It was so intrusive that I had to open the door and tell him to leave us alone so we could finish getting ready to leave. He was not apologetic at all.

I loved staying here. The view of the bay from our room was amazing. Loved the private beach. They have a bar and grill with a live band on Saturday night. There are nice wooden beach chairs outside the rooms to enjoy the beautiful weather. The parking lot was full and had to wait for someone to pull out to get a parking spot. Checking in/out was very quick and easy.

The hotel itself is honestly nothing to write home about. It reminds me of a motel 6, so if you want a resort style stay, this is not it. That being said, the reason to stay is the view. Get a ocean side view and you won't be disappointed (probably ask for a second floor if you can). The beach is accessible during low and mid tide. It is completely hidden during high tide but you still hear the waves and see it crashing into the rocks. There is a public part of the beach right next to it. I'd stay here again.

The stay was great-some people might complain about a couple out dated things, but why are you visiting here? To look @ 4 walls or take in the history and views of Plymouth? This little place is ran by some really great and lovely people. Whatever you need they are happy to oblige. No breakfast right now as it’s out of season but the pool and the hot tub were very clean and warm! The beach outside your window was amazing to listen to and being so close to where you can take a walk was awesome too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was a little soft and maybe it was just me. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else and will be back!
