Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money equation.

This had everything we wanted. Perfect hotel rooms, great food, nice pool, spa, and massage. And oh so close to the lake. I would stay here again!!!!

This hotel is the best hidden gem in the Dolomites. From the pool, staff, and room, everything is perfect. And the food! Best food I have ever had. Will definitely be back to stay at this hotel next time we are in the Dolomites!

We had a very good one night stay at Hotel Trenker. Upon arrival, we were luckily upgraded to a suite, and wow - what a room! The dinner was a pleasant surprise, it was delicious. Check in and out was easy as was parking and the proximity to Lago di Braies was wonderful.

Lake Braies Chapel and Innichen Abbey are notable landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at 3 Peaks Dolomites and Olang 2 Gondola. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding, or check out other outdoor activities such as sledding.
