Generally good for budget accommodation. Having a kitchen was nice, although it was very well equipped (lack of sufficient cutlery, couldn’t get toaster to work). Granted, temperature was very cold (-30C) but the temperature of the room, due to lack of sufficient heat, meant room was cool. Also, limited plug-ins for vehicle meant that most of the time I was not able to plug-in overnight. Location was decently close to many stores.

Wonderful little inn! Chose the room with private bathroom. It’s a bedroom with a desk, tv, queen size bed and ensuite. Basic/simple. It would have been nice if there was a little table/desk lamp. Clean and Quiet location. Comfy queen size bed with comfy linens. Perfect for me! Parking in front of the building. It’s clean and staff very friendly. The only thing is I did have option for a little breakfast but was not told about that or if I can get a coffee at night etc. I forgot to ask. Little sitting room at the front. Comfy like a home. I recommend and will stay there again next time I’m in Saskatoon!

The room was in the basement and was not having proper window or visibility. Also, while booking it was not showing that the bathroom and washroom is shared, while we entered we came to know. The linens were very basic and multicolored. I immediately requested for the cancellation but the hotel staff didn't listen and the same was with Hotels.com customer care. Well actually it's not a hotel but it's a hostel and they should mention this while booking. I immediately left and booked another hotel for which I paid higher price. I will advice not to book this hotel (hostel). Staff is also not good.

Entrance stairwell was very narrow making it challenging to carry baggage to the room. The room did not have a microwave/mini-frig, but these were available in the common area. Some road construction in the street made it a little inconvenient, and the back alley to the parking area was full of deep ruts/potholes.

The price is right,beds are comfortable, a great affordable option close to ruh and city hospitals. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Accessing the parking if you aren't familiar with the alley access could be confusing but not much they can do about that.

Very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is there is only 1 shared bathroom for 6 rooms. But overall, great value for the price. Would definitely stay again!

There is a communal bathroom for all guests to use... that was not disclosed in property ad. The entire building smells very musty. Stains on the bedsheets. No a/c, our room was hot. Never staying here again.

The Queen room was small but clean. We got a bathroom and shower in our room - again nice and clean. Room was hot and no temp control visible so I left the bathroom window open to try and cool a bit. Adjusting shower temp was a bit tricky, lots of hot water (too hot). Being right across from the hospital we did hear sirens through out the night, but not terrible. TV powered on, Cable box was powered on, but did not get any programs. Ok for a one nite stay.

The room was very cold, can not control the heat as it's central, so I had to ask for a portable heater. The bedsheets had stains in multiple places. That's not something you put by mistake. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival I discovered there was no hot water; no possibility of a shower after a long drive. Could not evev wash my hands with warm water. The desk clerk knew nothing of this. Really? By the time I left for my flight home this morning the situation was unchanged. This is totally unacceptable. The room was dingy; only one undersized piece of art on the wall and screws on another where a frame might have once hung. There was no night stand lamp, making it a bit hasardous switching off the overhead light and getting in bed. There were a couple hairs on one of the pillows, strongly suggesting they did not change the pillow cases from the last guest. While their website states there is a free continental breakfast, a discreet sigb in the office area adds that the breakfast is available upon request. It is supposed to be a smoke-free location but the unmistakable odour of burnt tobacco was easily detected. I did not anticipate having to share a bathroom. Going back on their website I can see the subtle use of abbreviations when referring to this situation so that they can claim to have been up front, but it really isn't. It is no suprise, given all of the above that I could not wait to leave at first light. I highly recommend Expedia carefully review its rating of this establishment. Just send a staff member there for 1 night.

There were bugs, and stains on the sheets and towels. The staff was friendly and helped us with the suitcases. The room was freezing cold but he provided us with a heater. I would definitely have reserved a better hotel room if I knew this place is so small and is not clean much. I stayed for a night only but university residence lounge would sound so much better and spacious without needing to pay anything.

This is a budget accommodation and it did the trick - room was clean, bed comfy. It is a shared bathroom however, which turned out to not be a problem but I should have read the description more closely. And the desk staff person was very friendly, which was lovely.

This was more like a dorm room than a hotel. We had to share a bathroom with the other guests. It was filthy! Beard hair on the sink. No way i was showering in a shared room! I will be asking for my money back! Expedia should never send another person to this place!

It feels very much like a hostel, more than an Inn. There are shared bathrooms and common areas. But it is very clean and resonable rates. The walls are thin so I heard the foot traffic and noise which was consistent throughout the night. Bring ear plugs.

Bring earplugs! The Queen room doesn’t have air conditioning but it is clean, and if you’re not okay with a shared bathroom, this motel might not be the best choice. We didn’t mind the shared bathroom, but the key only works for the back door—we weren’t informed of this beforehand. The bedsheets are old, and the pillows are just the ordinary type, nothing special. Also, if you need stable Wi-Fi for work, this may not be ideal, as the connection frequently dropped inside the room. Overall, consider checking out the other two nearby motels. Checked in with my husband and 2 kids (8 months old and 2 years old), and was shown to our room by a very friendly young lady. Later that night after taking my kids out for supper and upon arrival back to our room my 8 month old cried. The owner came banging on our door threatening to kick us out for bringing our kids with us. My husband politely explained that we booked there last minute because our son miraculously got an appointment with a neurosurgeon very early the following morning. He said he didn't care. He said if he heard the baby one more time, who had already finished crying at this point, we would be out. Then called back at us saying he did not know why the lady earlier even let us check in with children. We paid in full upfront when we booked the room and upon checking was unable to find anywhere on expedia or their personal website about children not being allowed. Also my kids stayed silent the rest of the night. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Firstly, I paid extra to get a room with private bathroom and Inn approved it but when I was checking in, the inn did not provide with that as they were “Confused” while looking at my booking. Secondly, the night manager has no idea about the proceedings and could not help me with anything. He could only give me keys of room which was available and not which I booked. Thirdly, the morning receptionist was so rude when I asked her about my refund and did not even attend me properly. She has no concern for me as a customer and until now I have not received my confirmation of refund or even an apology from the inn. This is the worst customer service ever received in any of my stays.

I never stayed at the property. When I got to the city I called (hoping to get an early check-in) but they refused to acknowledge I had reservations or my communications with them about arrival time. I thought it was a child I was dealing with and it was a prank but it wasn't. So I was too afraid to stay there.

Customer service was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. They were very accomodating by upgrading our room to a queen bed with private bathroom. Room was smaller than other hotel rooms but it was also half the price, so very good value for the price. Would stay here again

Friendly staff makes so much difference in creating a hospitable situation! Someone being on site also makes this place like home! I would be happy to return! It appeared that only instant coffee was available so I walked to Tim Hortons at the UofS, just 15 minutes away but in the end, there was real ground coffee available - just ask Janice for it! Thanks for bending to meet our needs, Janice! I would definetly return!

Entrance stairwell was very narrow making it challenging to carry baggage to the room. The room did not have a microwave/mini-frig, but these were available in the common area. Some road construction in the street made it a little inconvenient, and the back alley to the parking area was full of deep ruts/potholes.

Kitchen was great . Good to have lots of room in the frig and a table to sit at to eat. We appreciated having a microwave. it was frustrating not to be able to control the air-conditioning as I found it too cold at times. Location was great -close to trails along the river

The price is right,beds are comfortable, a great affordable option close to ruh and city hospitals. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Accessing the parking if you aren't familiar with the alley access could be confusing but not much they can do about that.

AVOID! The room description is full of lies! You will be SHARING A BATHROOM WITH 6 OTHER ROOMS! Also, there were SEX STAINS ON THE SHEETS! I asked for a change of sheets and she tried 3 others and they we're all stained as well. I had to sleep on stained sheets. And, the internet kept cutting in and out. It was next to useless. Further, it was stated that there was air conditioning and a fan in the room but there is neither so be prepared to freeze your butt off. It also stated that breakfast was served daily but there is no served breakfast at all. It stated that there is a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room but there is neither. When I called the manager with my complaints he told me to take it up with Hotels.com. He did not care at all.

Generally good for budget accommodation. Having a kitchen was nice, although it was very well equipped (lack of sufficient cutlery, couldn’t get toaster to work). Granted, temperature was very cold (-30C) but the temperature of the room, due to lack of sufficient heat, meant room was cool. Also, limited plug-ins for vehicle meant that most of the time I was not able to plug-in overnight. Location was decently close to many stores.

It was an inexpensive place to stay, dorm style with a shared kitchen that let you use the toaster, microwave, kettle or coffee pot. When i asked about the breakfast, they said there was a chatge for itso i passedand we t to a restaurant.

Wonderful little inn! Chose the room with private bathroom. It’s a bedroom with a desk, tv, queen size bed and ensuite. Basic/simple. It would have been nice if there was a little table/desk lamp. Clean and Quiet location. Comfy queen size bed with comfy linens. Perfect for me! Parking in front of the building. It’s clean and staff very friendly. The only thing is I did have option for a little breakfast but was not told about that or if I can get a coffee at night etc. I forgot to ask. Little sitting room at the front. Comfy like a home. I recommend and will stay there again next time I’m in Saskatoon!

It advertised fully equipped communal kitchen - one stove had no power to it and the other had a big sign -"do not cook on". There is nothing on the website to say the room shares the bathroom with everyone else on the floor & also by the people upstairs! Staff decided to clean hallways and stairs in late evening, but before curfew. Otherwise it\'s clean, beds comfortable, and close to hospitals, which was my purpose for booking here.

Upon arrival I discovered there was no hot water; no possibility of a shower after a long drive. Could not evev wash my hands with warm water. The desk clerk knew nothing of this. Really? By the time I left for my flight home this morning the situation was unchanged. This is totally unacceptable. The room was dingy; only one undersized piece of art on the wall and screws on another where a frame might have once hung. There was no night stand lamp, making it a bit hasardous switching off the overhead light and getting in bed. There were a couple hairs on one of the pillows, strongly suggesting they did not change the pillow cases from the last guest. While their website states there is a free continental breakfast, a discreet sigb in the office area adds that the breakfast is available upon request. It is supposed to be a smoke-free location but the unmistakable odour of burnt tobacco was easily detected. I did not anticipate having to share a bathroom. Going back on their website I can see the subtle use of abbreviations when referring to this situation so that they can claim to have been up front, but it really isn't. It is no suprise, given all of the above that I could not wait to leave at first light. I highly recommend Expedia carefully review its rating of this establishment. Just send a staff member there for 1 night.

The photos show a room with a bed. That is all you get. Shared kitchen, no cooking allowed. Free coffee, where? Difficult to get around sreep stairs. Doors have gaps all around them locks have obviously been damaged multiple times. Absolutely no sound deadening in the entire structure, noisy as all get out.

We knew we were booking an adult style hostel when we booked, but there were some obvious amenities missing. No reading lamps by the bed side was a terrible over sight. Just an over head light! No full length mirror! Yikes! The bedside tables were too small. And a round table with an upright cushioned chair would have been essential. We were in room 5 and there is an opportunity to have a custom unit for luggage, coats and the entertainment system in a better configuration. We booked a room with private bath and did not get a private bath on arrival. A more cohesive unit with toiletries would have changed the bathroom 100%. Something to consider. Also, the comment and instructions sheet described this as a boutique style hotel and it is not that at all. More similar to an Ibis in Europe. All that said, the shared rooms we like. We like to have a lounge and dining area. A breakfast would be a good addition here. The rooms were ok, but the noise from the halls was a little loud. Most people were quiet, so ok. For the price, well worth it. If necessary, we will return.

Calling the Heslth Board bc it does NOT meet minimum housing standards. Property mgr not available for a week.

You have to ring the doorbell and have someone let you in. Took quite some time for someone to let me in. The rugs are in poor / dirty condition and the duct work screens are very dirty. Bed was comfortable but rooms are noisy. The price was very economical so I guess you get what you pay for. Parking is very restricted (road construction in front) and the road to access the hotel was full of very deep potholes making for a very rough ride.
